Politics › Re: Twitter Meter Analysis: PDP, 1.87% National Penetration And APC, 16.18%(PICS) by WisdomFlakes: 3:07pm On Feb 28, 2015
What is really scaring GEJ and his crew is that unlike in 2011 where the election was massively rigged in his favor in SS and SE (with an unrealistic/phantom/fake 100% voters turnout) due to the unreliable TVC use, they are really uneasy about not controlling the INEC machinery that would've given them a free hand to rig the elections, seeing that Jega refused to play ball.

Those cooked up numbers from 2011 would be virtually impossible to manufacture this time around with PVCs, hence their paranoia cheesy

Better stop fooling urself
If u think SW votes is locked down for Buhari

SE Daz another joke
March 28 should settle it, if only your GEJ will allow the elections to hold and be free and fair.
If GEJ was so sure of himself, why did he force the postponement the last time? Why postpone your own success if you are so sure of yourself?

SW folks are aware of his desperation and recent bribes and we go chop im dollar and still massively vote for Buhari. grin cheesy cool

Hmm ok, like I said; I might be wrong, and you might be right. Just to be clear, I never cooked up my findings and indeed its on that I was able to come to that conclusion. I also have to add, most Westerners that are behind GEJ are quite silent, I notice they barely speak out.. And hey dyou notice most westerners
barely go to the polls? (Modified)
And by the way, 30% is just 20% away from 50%, mathematically speaking that is something if added to the combined Eastern and Southern votes. And also I won't be expecting that much surprises from the South and East.
March 28 is just few weeks away smiley
Yes, March 28 is just few weeks away, let's just hope Jonathan will allow the elections to hold this time around. No hanky panky, pls.
Politics › Re: 2015 Poll; For SouthWest Voters..... APC or PDP? by WisdomFlakes: 2:07pm On Feb 28, 2015
PaulJohn1:
I'll speak for Osun, Ibadan and Lagos. Very familiar with the 2states and city

Seems Osun is for the general. The people of the state have shown in recent times they're for any party but PDP. When sympathy votes from the SW states favoured GEJ in 2011, majority of Osun voters didn't buy into this sentiment and sympathy. And this time that it's believed that the GEJ got enough shoes, he should expect lesser % votes from the state. Personal sampling from bikers, newspaper stand and petty trader concerning #March28 in PDP stronghold of Ile-Ife seems to favour the general. Had this assumption, that the PDP's governorship candidate during last yr gubanitorial election might help GEJ in the ancient town, but I got a different result.
Gej 'll be lucky to have anything above 30% from this state.

Ib city. Seems the general will win there(might be wrong). From the conversations I've listened to, while at the viewing center and in couple of places in the city, I'll say the general got upper hand. Family friends that I see as not being too politically informed amazingly are rooting the general.
The general should get above 55% votes from voters in the city.

Lagos. I don't see any candidate who can boast of clearly defeating rival candidate in the state. Majority of the indigens of SW states who reside in the state are not for GEJ from my assessment. While most of the non-Indigenes votes are not so sure for the general.
I'll put it at 50/50.

Personally, Gej is not my favorite because of his extremely sluggish attitude on matters that require urgency, his accomodating manners for guys of dented reputation from the southwest; plus, his cold attitute towards corrupt practices which can ruin the progress and development of ANY nation.

Though I ain't voting 'cause I've got no PVC nor TVC smiley
Oh boy! Your assessment mirrors mine 150%. Anyone that is truly on ground in the SW knows GEJ is only dreaming. Since that Fuel subsidy removal crisis the region has stopped smiling with Jonathan, that is the truth.
Politics › Re: Elections Are Not Won On Social Media by WisdomFlakes: 2:02pm On Feb 28, 2015
Go and ask Jonathan whether he feels that Social media doesn't win elections, considering that he just recently CREATED a special Cabinet Level position, Special SENIOR Adviser on Social Media, and put Obi Asika there.

That is how seriously GEJ himself takes Social media Impact, and you are here talking shyt. Siddon dia like mumu. E go do Una like Film.

You are not totally right sir, the votes of the SW would be divided, its like this, I have asked around and I discovered only the optimist and the gullible(so to say) are going to be voting for Buhari, the realist of the lot are behind GEJ.
I might be wrong, but I seem to ask most westerners about the elections, and I notice most SW voters above 50 are also behind GEJ.
I am sorry but my experience overwhelmingly contradicts yours. I am Yoruba and I have sampled opinions far and wide even as far as Oyo, Ogun, and Osun and I have not seen any credible evidence that Jonathan would will get beyond 30%, at best.

The animosity against his candidacy in the region was crystalized by the Fuel subsidy removal crisis.

Don't kid yourself into thinking that Jonathan isn't aware of an impending loss, hence why he's toying with the idea of replacing Jega. Those days of cooking up numbers are gone with the introduction of PVCs.

I predict that even the SE will spring surprises for Buhari this time around. Forget the noises bro. Na we dey on ground and we know wassup. No matter how you slice or dice it, GEJ cannot win this election if it's free and fair.
Politics › Re: Twitter Meter Analysis: PDP, 1.87% National Penetration And APC, 16.18%(PICS) by WisdomFlakes: 1:31pm On Feb 28, 2015
Anyone who dismises those metrics does so at his own peril. Truth is, this election will be different in all ramifications and social media impact will play its part. So much so that even GEJ is taking note considering that he recently created a Cabinet level position and special office -- that of a Senior Special Adviser on Social Media, and appointed Obi Asika to the position.
Politics › Re: National Emergency On Naira! by WisdomFlakes: 1:09pm On Feb 28, 2015
Nigerians should keep calm coz help is on the way. Contrary to all the noise from FFK and his pay-master, the real issues that will decide this elections are the economy and insecurity.

Buhari/Oshinbajo team has an alternative plan in place to salvage this country from inept and incompetent management. It won't be long now guys.
Politics › Re: Sacking Jega “recipe For Disaster” – Northern Elders by WisdomFlakes: 1:02pm On Feb 28, 2015
The naked truth is that GEJ lacks the requisite numbers to win this election. Little wonder why he's bent on forcing out Jega to pave the way for a stooge who will help him rig.

If I were Jonathan I would panic too coz the two largest geopolitical zones that will decide this election, SW & NW, have already rejected him.

FrontPage things.

GEJ needs to understand that there is life after Aso Rock. Like OBJ, he too can retire to his 500 acre Abuja farm and enjoy his loot.
Jonathan has to be the most divisive figure in the history of the history of Nigeria.

Has GEJ not also ruled for about 6 years already? Buhari didn't even rule for up 3 years during his first stint so Jonathan should shift abeg. GEJ has tried but as they say, "you can't give what you ain't got", even after 6 years.

IdrisAdebiye:
Shouldn't we ALL insist that the recommendations should be implemented? Unfortunately, Buhari has not said anything on the recommendations.
Bro, the reason why we "ALL" won't is coz like previously organized conferences, e.g. OBJ's, they were all setup to fail. GEJ wasn't sincere about his true motives for organizing the conference.

Fortunately, a lot of prominent Yoruba politicians saw through the ruse and consequently refused to participate. It was practically a well executed blackmail ploy by GEJ for the purpose of his re-election.

I urge you to read Falana's recent critique of the endorsement to better understand what I'm driving at. Jonathan is promising what he knows he can't and won't deliver. Worst yet, his endorsers know this and are playing along thinking we are fools.
Politics › Re: We Won’t Forgive Buhari – Some South West Leaders Endorse Jonathan by WisdomFlakes: 8:05pm On Feb 27, 2015
Evidently, the National Conference was simply a ploy by GEJ to blackmail participants, especially those from the South West, to back his re-election.

But we know he can't simply implement the report without the National assembly's passing and endorsement of the bill, which will not happen coz Northerners, who comprise the bulk of the members in the house of reps, have reservations about of many of its recommendations.

In short, GEJ knows the report/bill won't be passed by the NA let alone get to his table for signing. These so-called Yoruba leaders know that as well but they've been heavily bribed and compromised that they've become Agbayas.

My friend, tell the truth and put the devil to shame. APC has virtually and effectivly reduced the PDP to an opposition party, especially since the conclusion of their Presidential primaries and selection of Osinbajo.

Jonathan has since gone on a bribing spree and become an overnight pastor begging for attention. That right there is the truth and nothing but.

BLAME TINUBU AND BUHARI FOR THE POLITICAL INSTABILITY THATS PART OF WHAT'S MAKING THE NAIRA FALL.
Was it Tinubu or Buhari that forced INEC to postpone the elections? If PDP and GEJ had allowed the elections to hold, by now Nigerians would have adjusted and life would go on. But PDP only postponed the inevitable coz they will still lose. Like kwankwaso said, you can't bribe everybody. Rigging won't be allowed thus time thanks to PVCs which the same PDP is scared of.

If you have a sincere heart and you are aware of the politics in APC from inception, did you think Rochas would have won the tickethuh...
Before they did any primary, the party had clearly stated that the Presidential Ticket will be zoned to the MUSLIM NORTH...
Rochas being a typical igbo man, took the governorship ticket of his state gave his brother inlaw to hold it for him. Trying to deceive other igbos to support APC they now gave him a presidential ticket, knowing very well that he will lose the primary and go back to pick up the governorship ticket from his brother inlaw.
This is what happened exactly, Rochas lost the primary as planned, went back to his state and told his brother inlaw to step down for him, now he is going to be governor of his state.

Who are thy foolinghuh?
If GEJ was so sure of himself why didn't he go for primaries like Buhari did? We all know that it was coz he was afraid of losing to a Northerner within his own party. Clark should shut his trap already.
