Israel has officially announced her intention to withdraw from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO.

The country made this intention known via an official statement issued on Friday, December 29, 2017.

This decision was prompted by resolutions that are critical to the Jewish state.

Recall that United States had earlier pulled away from the organization after accusing them of 'anti-Israel bias'.

Therefore, Israel's membership of the organization will be terminated by December 31, 2018.

The Vietnamese man identified by his initials, V.V.C had a penile fracture after trying an unusual position during sexual escapade with his partner.
He took a quick race to the hospital at about 1:45 am on Christmas Day with a swollen, deformed, and bluish colored penis.

He underwent an emergency surgery immediately after an MRI scan showed that he had a penile fracture.
The man explained to the doctors that he was having sex in an unusual position when he felt pain and his penis became curved and inflamed.

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently not in the best of moods following his son’s bike accident that has raised so much dust across the country.

Yusuf sustained head injuries and broke a limb during a drag race on power bike on Tuesday night.

Buhari reportedly reprimanded his security aides for allowing his son go out by that time of the night.

A report said: "The president was at the hospital on Wednesday night. He was very devastated when he saw his son, Yusuf, in a very critical situation. He was shaking his head, while looking at his son and thereafter angrily reprimanded his security officials for allowing Yusuf to leave home at that time of the day for power-bike racing.

“From the way the president spoke, it appears the security aides are in trouble. He spoke angrily. The Minister of Interior, Lt-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (rtd); his FCT ministry counterpart, Alhaji Mohammed Bello; and the Senate President’s wife, Mrs. Toyin Saraki; stayed throughout the night of Tuesday till Wednesday at the hospital with Hajia Aisha Buhari.

“While the doctors were working to stabilise him, Dambazau kept appealing to the doctors to do everything possible to stabilise Yusuf, saying the president would find it very difficult to bear the pain if anything happens to his son."

Festive seasons are usually marked by lots of events - from the good, to the bad and the very ugly.

It is a season when new relationships are formed and old ones ruined. It is no brainer that a lot of deceptions happen during festive seasons like Christmas.

People up their games and are usually at their best because it is a good time to let your trap catch a game.

It is a common knowledge that most women prefer abroad based guys to their counterparts in Nigeria.

One funny thing is that at the mention of 'abroad' a guy suddenly appears cuter than he forrmerly was in the eyes of many Nigerian ladies. Call it being a gold digger and that is exactly your own cup of tea because in reality, no lady ever admits there is even a gold to dig.

Even if a guy looks worse than a neanderthal, the regular Nigerian lady must find something so cute about him even if it were his shadows. Oh yes! You haven't heard shadows look cute too? Then you haven't met a Nigerian. Even bones look so beautiful once they are within a dude that is based abroad. Oh well...

The truth is that the Nigerian environment is somewhat toxic and doesn't allow people think straight most of the time.

In the minds of some Nigerians who live within the country, people who live abroad are never poor how much more being broke. Like there must be some virtual trees where they pluck money from.

Guys have actually caught the drill and are now taking advantage of it to taste the pudding of every girl that comes their ways while masking behind the marriage or relationship thing that sweeps ladies off their feet.

A lot of ladies usually melt faster than ice and flow with the tide at the mention of abroad and eventually find solace in the 'he used and dumbed me' cliche when the going gets rough.

It is long distance relationship when the man is based somewhere within the country like Abuja and the lady is based in Lagos, but the long distance suddenly shortens when the dude is somewhere abroad, say Texas or New York and the lady is somewhere in Lagos.

A lot of ladies will comfortably get married with photos of their 'abroad husbands' instead of having a Nigerian-based dude by their sides. You may like to befriend google to get lots of photo evidences if you are in doubt.

The marriage blues of one Cynthia and estranged husband E-money made so much waves across the social media space after it crashed.

The young lady was visibly so in love with her abroad-based husband and their traditional introduction ceremony photos broke the internet with currencies splattered all over the place.

Obviously the young man appeared to do no wrong in her eyes as at the time but the moment the relationship went south, she suddenly regained her tracks and remembered that there was no iota of goodness in him.



He wore shorts during the marriage introduction and she now found out that it was absolutely disgusting. One thing that comes to mind is, why did it take her so much time to realise he was not even her spec?

Could it be that she was too lovestruck to have realised earlier until the union crumbled like a pack of cards?

It is really crazy and crazier is the fact that a lot of ladies don't seem to be ready to repent from the crase anytime soon.

A friend once told me that it is either an abroad-based dude or marriage should wait till forever. In her words 'who sufferhead epp?'

Oh, does that mean relationship cum marriage are now a poverty alleviation scheme? Well, we never can tell.



How about the guys who have wives and probably kids abroad and yet come home in sheer deception to marry Nigerian wives who are expected to stay back in the country while they (the guys) turn to visiting husbands?

Some of these women are even aware of the fact but who really cares when 'abroad' is involved?

People's perception about marriage has been so ruined and twisted that the original concept now looks like gibberish.

Pothole Is To Lagos What Manhole Is To Abuja...

As a newbie in Abuja, I had looked forward to an exciting experience spending some time in the Federal Capital Territory.

Coming from Lagos State, the commercial hub of the country, everything in the capital city looked quite different and my mannerism apparently proved it.

There were no ‘danfos’ and ‘molues’ with loud drivers and nagging conductors silently praying that passengers would forget their balances.

Everybody seemed to be calm, responsible and everything but loud. There were no traffic jams and the roads looked beautifully tarred unlike the potholes that ‘adorn’ the roads of Lagos like some ugly bracelet.

‘This must really be a cool place’, I thought. The people seemed quite nice and welcoming but there was one scary loophole – The Manholes splattered all over the roads.

Like the spots on a leopard’s skin, virtually every road in the capital city has a fair share of uncovered manholes.

It instilled a huge fear in me because I actually am fast when it comes to walking - in fact I should comfortably win any award for the fastest walker in the world.

But, I have been humbled by the uncovered manholes in the streets of Abuja. Who wants to fall inside those ditches? Definitely not me!

I have learnt to look 20 ft ahead before I take further steps, because I hate the feeling of turning into people’s laughing stock for a minute.

Actually, I am not the only one that feels this way. A thousand and one other persons do, but most times, they find it difficult to express themselves.

One of my friends broke a leg on a fateful day and still nurses the pain inflicted on him by a cruel manhole.

Another friend narrated how she fell into one of the ditches while she was pregnant. Wait what? This looks scarier right now. What if she did not survived the ordeal, or perhaps had her baby hurt by some avoidable error?

More painful is the fact that people are actually making excuses for the government on why the holes are uncovered.

They are being stolen by some ‘hungry’ citizens and the government is not doing anything to stop the menace. Perhaps, because no ally of the government has ever fallen victim to these manholes which are death traps waiting for innocent people to devour. If not they would have been covered with the speed of the light.



Instead of creating the department of Happiness as suggested by Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, the Federal Government can actually channel the energy towards constituting a team to watch over manhole covers. Hey! Don't look at me that way, Nigerians play too much.

As I zoomed past the ever busy Oshodi in Lagos State, I caught a glimpse of something quite unusual which immediately grabbed my attention.

If you know Lagos too well, you should know that Oshodi is the heart of the city as it easily connects to every other area of the state.

At the foot of the paedestrian bridge, directly adjacent the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre, was a man wearing a red cap inside a big circle marked with the native chalk (nzu) and right beside him was a big python on a red dress.

It looked like one of those things we see in Nollywood but to be sure it was not a dream, I had to pull over to get the full gist.

Several visibly dazed onlookers soon formed a crowd and surrounded the man who was at the time now feeling like a hero.

The man who claimed to be a juju priest made incantations and then dared anyone among the dazed crowd who was in doubt to come forward so he would prove that it was not just a mirage.

The first man came forward and challenged him and after his incantations, the man's hand got stuck on the ground (or so we thought actually).
"Oga na your person be this, all this one na scam...', a strong male voice screamed from the crowd.

The self-acclaimed juju priest dared him to come and give it a trial and the man who later identified himself as Ifeanyi went forward and volunteered to prove him wrong.

To the amazement of the onlookers, the second man also got stuck like the first man after the self acclaimed juju priest made some incantations.
