I don't understand how some of you are always waiting to see how things in this country will fail. Then you still turn around and complain about the same country, there are a lot of indigenous rice farmers now both in small and large scale, this is just one of them and I didn't read anywhere these guys mentioned they will be supplying Lagos with rice for Christmas so please use your head when commenting next time.

The Federal High Court in Lagos on Tuesday heard that Abdullahi Babalele, a son-in-law of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, allegedly gave former President Olusegun Obasanjo the naira equivalent of $140,000.

The EFCC arraigned him on two counts of money laundering in August.

He procured Mohammed “to make a cash payment of $140,000 without going through any financial institution,” the anti-graft agency claimed.

EFCC prosecutor, Rotimi Oyedepo, said the money exceeded the threshold stipulated by the money laundering Act.
