Years back, I went to patronize a guy who sells electronics. Their thrift collector came, do you know that some were contributing N2000 daily.
I did a simple calculations and that is N60,000 to N62,000

While I was battling with N35,000 monthly then. They regard us because we were learned but the basic truth is that knowledge without money will not put food on your table

I don't want to say much yet but a lot of story writers have being in tears over the years!

Some untold stories of how they were asked to submit their write-up only for the stories to be made into movies without acknowledgement, reference or payment for their stories which by the way is making you guys popular while they remain in the dark!

A similar case was that of Domitila(real name) and Zeb Ejiro. I hope many of you remember that movie huh

Domitila claimed that Zeb promised to pay her for using her name which was associated with prostitution in the movie. It was a true life story which was very popular then.

Zeb never did. It cause a lot of uproar then but out of stigmatization then Domitila left! And that was the end of Domitila.

So to all movie makers, if you are using other people's sweat/material, include them in your payroll cause when they are encouraged, they will be motivated to write a better script.

I know you all remember the recent Majek Fasek...
There should be organization in Nollywood! The body governing Nollywood should say something.
Before approving the movie, did they carry out their assignments thoroughly SMH
