A few weeks ago I visited all the bank branches on Allen Avenue in order to enquire about their Kids Account. The objective was to assess two things - 1. The level or otherwise of friendly Customer Service, and 2. Customer Facing Personnel's ability to seize an opportunity to Build Rapport, Persuade, and Sell their bank's product. So which bank was able to persuade me to open a kids account for my daughter?

I prefer Glo cos I get more data for less! 3.2GB for N1000. though the network isn't always steady especially when I'm in lag! but here in ugbowo-Benin city, it's not bad.

Glo is fraudulent... You never get to use the data till expiration. Oops I forgot... Glo brought a 4G mast less than 500meters from my apartment... But guess what? The Glo 4G and my phone's​ 4G don't speak the same language.



Etisalat non existent.

Airtel works occasionally but more consistently... However the data volumes​ are dubious.

My WiFi works whenever it's inspired to by the gods.
But MTN and Airtel outside Nigeria are super fast... What's wrong with the Nigerian​ network providers.

Good news. I will wait till the new policy is implemented to request for a new debit card. It used to be NGN1500 before.

And I am also happy that I dont get to be charged the sum of NGN105 for electronic transfers from May 1st.


The NGN1 per mille is reasonable but the interest rates on loans (including mortgage) should be further reviewed to allow room for small businesses to assess the loans...
