fregkay: Visa delayed yesterday.just one consular interviewed students yesterday.VO was just dashing out white paper to the guys, him no send the ladies at all.one small lady was every crying and begging the consular.I was second to the last on the line.got to my turn. VO:Good morning sir Me:Good morning to you sir VO:pass your doc and place ur right hand fingers VO: how did you learn about this school? Me:I learnt about murray state university after carryying out an extensive online research using Internet tools and academic websites like usnews.com to know the school's ranking and also graduatereview.com amd Princeton review.com to streamline schools to my area of interest and also to ascertain if the school meets my academic profile; goals and ambitions. VO:ok,so why murray state univesity? Murray state university has a unique disigned course curriculum that is pratical oriented cuts... Vo:that's what the school's website says about the school,I mean out of all the whole schools in US why did you pick murray state university? Me:there's an on going research in the department of OSHT that aligns with my field of intrest and the school is quiet affordable by my sponsor. VO: ok,and typed for some mins, and said sorry u are not qualified for this blabla blala Abeg gurus, where did I go wrong again? Based on my little experience I got here; make a research on your course website, you may use that instead of usnews.com , princeton.com and all that. Everyone is using the websites and VOs are tired of hearing that everyday |

Dot1: It's good to get all your document ready. Keep them in your hand-luggage or backpack not anywhere else . But I remember I was asked my passport (plus visa ofcourse), I-20, proof of sevis payment, admission letter, then they took my bio-data (basically fingerprint and snapshot). Getting your I-901 handy is also good. People should please check me on this Thank u very much. May God mercy find you in your endeavour. |

[quote author=MrMann1 post=41524339]Guys, please what can I write as reason for denial? You don't know, I don't know but only the VO and God know. One of the reasons for denial is why u were unable to give cogent reasons for choosing your school. Another reason may be if u can't prove enough home ties like social, future career financial and tendency to return after your study. It will be good for you to check at the question u didn't answer well during your interview. |

MrMann1: There is an alternative track to the course.. Computer sc - general and Computer sc - computer network. I was waiting for why did you choose this school?? thanks for your input If it's about why did u choose this school? If I were u I would tell them about the scholarship if u had one( mention the amount), the research going on in your department of the school and try to mention the Professor in charge of the research. All other things follow but start with those points. |

Olarewajub: Seasons greetings....... Please i need candid advice from you guys. I'm currently running a program here in Nigeria which will elapse mid next year, i've not taken any proficiency test and equally not decided on the University i'll be apply for. My dilemma is whether to apply for spring or summer so as to delay the process to mid next year since i have to complete the programm i'm currently running. By the way, i'll be applying for a undergraduate study. I would advise you finish your program at hand, do the proficiency test along while u research for university of your choice. For you to do these, choose Summer 2017, you will have more than enough time. It also depends on your commitment towards this, you can still apply for Spring 2017 and meet up. |

glossybayor: This is message for my niggas in d state, @Walspring @Slimmy05 @warriboy21 Please guys does it really necessary to use an agent when filling the DS160 form? Urgent reply please. Kind of confused because I see nothing special in the form. Please advise!!! Please fill all the aspect of the form yourself as you were advised here because it might bail u out during your embassy interview. NOTE also that you should not be in a hurry to submit the form. Be satisfied before u submit the form, u can submit the form some hours to your interview. Once you submit the form u can no longer edit. Take good note of this! |

Also your proposed program should not only be a benefit for you only, what about the country u would return to? What benefit will it do to you, society or environment and your country.
