Good day everybody in the house. I use this opportunity to salute and appreciate the gurus in the house, more grease to your elbow. I would like the gurus in the house to help me out on these questions from the I-20 I got from my choice school. It was written in the I-20 that; PROGRAM ENGLISH PROFICIENCY- Required. ENGLISH PROFICIENCY NOTES- Student is proficient. I don't really understand these information in my I-20, so I need the gurus in the house to put me through. I would welcome the advise, suggestions and answers to this question. Hope to get back from you soonest.. Thanks.

I agreed totally with your comment, but the major fact is that some people are very respectable and give respect to other people. Likewise we have people that complicate issues, not ready to help others at all. For instance, there was a question sent to this forum yestade about the meaning of I-20; a reply was given by someone that the meaning of I-20 is I into twenty times. The person was even asked to start counting now until he/she gets to twenty. What is the meaning of that? I think a kind of instance like this may prompt a new comer or a responsible person to think otherwise. Most of the people that sent private contact may fall into these categories. SantaClause; u are a good observant, good job to the gurus in this forum, too much respect but to be sincere those that could not help others to learn or gain from them should pls don't DISCOURAGE serious and determined people. I believed this forum is created to help people and there have been testimonies here and there, we should continue with these good testimonies here. We get more when we share what we have.

@akin3102. Yes its ETSU. You got it right. Thanks a lot, I appreciate u but my fear is the two mails that I sent to them have not been replied. That's y I just want to know if the scholarship will still be intact with the deferred admission.

I appreciate your reply concerning the deferment and scholarship. The awarded scholarship is not for assistanship but an international merit scholarship(out of state). I think it should be cleared like that. The question again is wud d scholarship be intact despite the fact I have deferred the admission? Thanks a lot

These gurus in the house! Aha! You people are bless and rich. U are bless and rich in the sense that u can share part of what u have with people and still have more. Why are u doing this I asked mysef ? You are doing this only to help people both rich and poor to achieve their dreams. Many are happy reading these threads especially mysef. I keep wondering about what brought this forum, I highly salute u people, I give my respect. I started following nairaland like eight months ago and the advise giving here is priceless. Thanks to this forum,here comes my fear; I was given admission(fall 2015) for Chemistry(MSc) with 50% scholarship in one school in US. But I have to defer d admission(Spring 2016) due to the fact that my financial document wud not be ready on time. I deferred, a form was sent and I filled the form and mailed back to them. My fear is I have not heard from the school and I don't want the scholarship to be forfeited. I have mailed the school twice but no response. A friend told me I shouldn't bother that once it has been deferred, the scholarship award is intact. My question is many of u wud have passed thru these processes and I believe u cud help, kindly help me out to relief me of fear. Thanks, am really expecting your reply.

Good morning all in the house. I was just given admission in a state university in USA. What I need from the house now is the next step needed for the processing of I20. How do I go about it in order for me to meet up on time. I was given admission for fall and in fact I dont know the next step. Pls help me out, your advise is highly welcomed

Good day my people in the house, I wish to send my transcript through post, what is the probability of my transcript getting to US. Do I need to use other means like DHL. I just need to know the probability of getting there? And how fast would it be? I want people in the house who have done something like that before or with an idea. At the same time am trying to browse some schools that offer chemistry, although I could see some but the program is very important as I wud like to go for organic course.
