You're correct, when distant stars go supernova and we report it because we just saw the light. But the supernova occured billions of years ago. But the sheer distance of the star from us (light years). Means that we are just receiving the light now. So if the sun suddenly went dark, it would take 8 minutes for us to see the lights go down. CrystalMax:We use 330kv and 135kv for transmission. Stepped down to about 33kv for distribution. Then further stepped down to 415v(3phase) or 220( single phase) for consumption. |
