I thank the inscrutable great geometrician of this great city for honouring me on GC's first natal award night like this,i m deeply grateful .
I really don't have much to say cos I didn't prepare a good speech to read out but I always say; the best way to say thank you is to say Thank you from the heart.

I m dedicating this award to Baba God, the bringer of greater light and I say Gloria in Excelsis Deo, and I say Deo Gratias, and i say Deo confidimus, and I say Deo Optimo Maximo, and I say Deus Caritas Est, and I say Deus Lux Mea Est, and I say Deus Spes.

And to the planning committee members, LogoDWhiz, Kbs468,Fraih,Bobolil and Spixytinxy; Hmmmm, your labour of love and togetherness will not go un appreciated.

National Youth Service Corps, Brig-Gen.
Sule Kazaure on Monday took over as
the 17th DG of the scheme, promising
to be transparent and to prioritise the
welfare of the workers and corps
members.
Kazaure, who said this during the
handing over ceremony in Abuja, said
the tasks ahead are huge, but added
that with unity of purpose, his
administration would make progress.
He said, “I know that the tasks ahead
are enormous and the road is rough,
but with unity of purpose, we will
make progress. Therefore, I urge all to
be pro-active, positive and optimistic in
all our dealings so that our individual
effort will result into success in line
with the vision of the present
administration.
“On my part, I understand the
importance of motivation for staff, I will
endeavor to be fair, transparent in my
administration to enable us succeed
together.”
Earlier, the immediate past DG, Brig-
Gen. Johnson Olawumi said the
agitation for increase in the monthly
allowance of the 260,000 serving corps
members would soon yield the desired
result.
He explained that the leadership of the
scheme had written series of letters to
the Federal Government on the issue,
and “there seems to be a ray of light at
the end of the tunnel.”
Olawumi urged the workers to extend
the cooperation he enjoyed during his
tenure to his successor.
“I want to call on my successor to
please prioritise corps members’
welfare during the orientation camp
and thereafter. In this regard, the Skills
Acquisition and Entrepreneurship
Development programme needs to be
sustained to reduce the tide of
unemployment and promote self-
reliance amongst corps graduates,” He
stated.
Olawumi took over the NYSC leadership
on January 6, 2014.

Firstly, for you to engage in any kind of business in camp, you will have to register with the camp officials. The amount you will be charged for depends on the kind of business you want to set up in camp. Once your registration has been approved, then you are free to go on with your business in camp without any form of harassment.

1. Selling of food & drinks. ( spixytinxy, Iya paraga, I no sey make u carry ogogoro go dey sell for camp o. I mean soft drinks. I know u are hardworking & don't depend much on kbs468. Make money when u get to camp.)

2. Photocopying service.

3.Taking photographs/photo shots. ( iambibi, the reporter, I c u are good with camera, u can switch job in the mean time. Jubrealguy won't b there to give u money o)

4. Phone calls & battery charging kiosk.

5. Film video business. ( Oga Abbeyunique2, minister of amebo, u can engage in this, by video covering the camp activities and selling them in disk or dashing them out to people)

6. Laundry services

7. Mending torn clothes & Shoes. ( Fraiser, I hear sey u b shoemaker, u can continue ur business n camp)

8. Browsing configuration. ( Ur excellency LogoDWhiz, heard u are computer scientist, don't feel too pompous, coz nobody will regard u as d president in camp, configure phones, laptop & whatever in camp & make ur dough in camp if u know how to do it.)

9. Selling inspirational books & offering unique services
( Aunty fraih & brother crobboy, I heard u like books & u know many ov them. U can sell books n camp & make some cool cash)

10. Video & games viewing centres ( Oga sirguy542 & Darey00, I heard u discussing games yesterday when u were supposed to be discussing NYSC related matter. U can set up a video & games viewing centre when u get to camp & make some money.

And what will you be doing to feed the triplet huh? Sent4rina no go put money under rug for u again oo. But I see potential in you; a potential of controlling dancing puppets. It's fun and low capital intensive,you don't need a kiosk cos every crowdy place is ur kiosk,just carry umbrella waka...thats capacity building dearie *winks*
