TONYE001:The bolded is opposition politics. You guys should explain the reason Jonathan you continue to hail and cry over could not deliver even one out of the many critical reforms world class technocrats insist Nigeria must initiate and abide with to begin moving towards becoming a developed nation. Tinubu has delivered so many critical reforms to the extent the technocrat below, and many globally, are waxing lyrical about him with hope he can finally be the key to unlock Nigerias vast potentials. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph5XCf8jgOE?si=EBC1d6wRxFI5finP |
FatimaAbubakar:What do you know? Next to nothing. |
madridguy:Indeed. They have a lot to say right now because they want the agulu charlatan in Aso Rock by all means yet they forget that, factually, no set of leaders , when Nigeria has being most troubled, have led by example more than Yoruba leaders throughout our history as a nation. When Malami was abetting Fulani murderous expansionist agenda across Southern Nigeria, we heard nothing from Obi or any of their leaders. It was Yoruba Governor's who tackled Malami, refused to back down, and delivered Amotekun. Progressive Nigerians should be patience. After Jan 2027, when Tinubu wins a second term, the world will see how quickly the FG will move with critical solutions that will improve the lives and fortunes of Nigerians as never seen before. Tinubu is going to ensure every region that wants peace, socio-economic progress and develop-nation standard can be free and empowered to work towards such as only him can. |
@OP. Obidients need to be studied like lab Rats. Lol. |
KanwuliaExtra:Lol. Ask yourself the same question. |
Gotocourt:Insecurity, that will increasingly become focused against SW as election draw closer, is being sponsored by Northern leaders to discredit Tinubu in an attempt to ensure born-to-rule Fulani hegemonists and supremacists hijack power in 2027. What many Nigerian Presidents and heads of States failed to do to improve Nigeria, over at least 7 decades, no reasonable Nigerian will blame on Tinubu. The Nigerian educated class is a disgrace. If not, they should be behind Tinubu, who has been very brave and resolute reforming Nigerian to position her for greatness, so that we permanently defeat agents of retrogression seeking eternal hijack of Nigeria's commonwealth. |
franchasofficia:More lies and incoherent arguments. Nigeria has been destroy by cumulative inept leadership , over several decades, before PBAT become President. Yet tax reforms that became law formally only in January 2026 and that all experts praise, for it's attempt to increase our tax to GDP ratio above 15% the world Bank indicate is the minimum nations should aim for, is the cause of all the problems you cite above? You are a compromised enemy of Nigeria's progress. The effort of you guys to demonize Tinubu as main and singular problem of Nigeria, since lord Lugard amalgamation, is distasteful. |
Tjra:Simple. Many understand Obi is not intelligent so they position themselves to use him. |
franchasofficia:You lie a lot. The bolded is bollocks. Tax reforms the Tinubu regime introduced is to improve the tax to GDP ratio of Nigeria, that is below the African average, so that more is available for Government to use improving the lives of Nigerian as is the standard case across the world. Look at the simplistic explanation of tax to GDP ratio below whereby the world Bank recommend it must be above 15% while OECD nations average around 34% whereas that of Nigeria is pathetic and one of the lowest in the world at around 10%. How can any well-meaning educated person then try to lie that efforts of this government to improve our tax to GDP ratio is a bad thing unless they have a hidden agenda for their attempt to misinform? Your sort simply want an Igbo President and that is why you are online daily lying against Tinubu. Be bold enough to admit what you want because your criticism of PBAT are never factually valid.

lawani:I like your personality because it shows you reflect on problems of society deeply. I think your idealist and communist leaning is what I have an issue with. Minimum wage cannot be capped and should not have anything to do with what anyone can save after meeting their living expenses. Minimum wage should be for governments to revise and set purely based on what citizens need, as a minimum, to meet their living obligations. |
LibertyRep:Great comments. The fact is that the processes nations must adopt to become developed is almost a precise science with set rules. Nigeria was not following any of those rules. In fact, as an example, our corner-cutting is why terrorism is a major problem today. There was no consistent, focused and dedicated investment in the NPF over time to improve its efficiency that would make it more than a match for all these illiterates running around killing Nigerians. There is no way some elements can internally terrorise nations like the USA, Germany or Nigeria as is happening to Nigeria today simply because their security capacity is too efficient to allow that. How can we then not understand that securing Nigeria is going to be difficult to achieve today because of what we failed to do over decades to improve the efficiency of our security architecture so it grows and adapt with time? We are suddenly here today and the owners of a police force that is archaic and cannot secure Nigeria. I was in the UK during the 7/7 London bombing in 2005 to note the response of Metropolitan police that makes me understand how very, very far Nigeria is to having such a capable force. I understand that times are tough for Nigeria but there is no way we can move towards being a developed nation, with all the benefits of good security and socio-economic wellbeing, without sacrifice simply because of what we have failed to do over many decades. |
@OP. They are both long-overdue policies implemented at the right time. Fuel subsidy and subsidizing of Naira were crippling a nation that was broke and on the edge of collapse. For example, States were borrowing to pay salary but that is not the case today. Direct confirmation of a benefit of fuel subsidy removal. What I can agree with is that more effort should be made to introduce and quickly implement palliatives to soften the hardship Nigerians are facing as a result of unavoidable and crucial reforms. |
Macphenson:Go and look at what you wrote again to note you are not proficient using the English language. You make it seem Kabiru Sokoto was found in Tinubu's house. Even you sentence in bold above is not grammatically correct.
|
lawani:You don't get the point. Some issues, like minimum wage, define themself naturally and holistically. It is not for you, because your mentality is communist, to determine what it should be nor suggest a cap be put on it. Government determine minimum wage based on what they believe is the minimum amount all employers should pay that will allow citizens live comfortably. |
Macphenson:Are you high per the bolded or just a shameless liar? |
franchasofficia:The bolded is a joke and shows, with all due respect, many of you are like toddlers who need adult parents to look after you because you don't have the capacity to look after yourselves. It is only in Nigeria, and from the mouth of emotional folks like you, one will read the bolded in your post. Globally, and from the mouth of economic experts with no vested or bigoted interest in Nigeria, Tinubu gets an A+ for his bold and reform-driven leadership of Nigeria. Those who know the precise problems of Nigeria and know the exact problems required to sort out those problems see that Tinubu is doing the right things. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph5XCf8jgOE?si=FupgzU3mKUSQvZga |
yaroyaro619:Lol. You lot love fooling yourselves. Campaign will start soon and I am sure the USA will have something to say about Kwankwaso as VP candidate 😎 |
Lithiumite:He is not. He is just offering platitudes and being opportunistic which all Nigerian politicians do. |
Seunmama:It is an Igbo man, who happens to be an APC member, appealing to his fellow Igbo. Not APC, as a Party, begging Obi. APC will beg Obi for an election it has won already? People can delude themselves but Tinubu has won a second term already. |
Lol. Lawani the hardened communist don begin again. Minimum wage, ideally , should be a direct reflection of the ability of nations to be productive and successful. If it is even $4,000 dollars a month, no problem as long as it is facilitating good and socio-economically productive lives for the citizens of a nation. |
seunmsg:Word !!! |
Ezekiel2122:I have made this same point countless times. Why are we indulging the likes of Atiku? Why is even a single Southerner behind him? Do we need them to be in charge of the Presidency before we begin seeing their effort to deliver solutions for the existential problems their people are causing for Nigeria. |
CodeTemplar:Well-said. We must take these people to task once and for all for Nigeria to move on progressively or for our nation to separate so the Fulanis morph with their Sahel brothers above them in nationhood and leave Nigeria . You appear to have integrity. Makes me wonder why you are always attacking me here considering it is always crystal clear I want the best for Nigeria. |
Ttalk:Lol. Uppercut kmockout. 🔥 🔥 |
Kukutente23:Now it is obvious you are not to be taken seriously. Of course the police must stop and arrest anyone driving against traffic because such is is a criminal offence in Nigeria.
|
Emmy000seun:Commendable. We must do our part individually to create a working society. Lunacy to demand solutions from other if we are willing to drive against traffic and bribe to escape queues etc. |
Emmy000seun:The bolded is the gospel truth. My experience with Lagos police is very good. Be law-abiding, have all the required document, and be polite and gracious, you won't have problems. |
damkin24:Precisely. |
DomPerignon:Lol. Isn't it funny James Nwafor, Peter Obi's 'Man Friday' while he was governor of Anambra, has disappeared into thin air after the @ #EndSARS protests that identified Nwafor, Obi's pal and hatchet man, as the worst example of SARS murderous excesses and atrocities? |
Emmy000seun:💯% correct. Many of them are respectful, professional and eloquently polite. Tinubu magic did that but Nigerians can never rise above ethno-religious chauvinism to give credit to those who deserve it and perhaps learn lessons from them to make their own lives and corner of the earth better. Many African nations are formally understudying the success of Lagos, that began under Tinubu, yet you have virtually everyone in the SE badmouthing Tinubu and Lagos daily because they believe Obi can profit politically. The biggest problem of Nigeria is that we are the unluckiest nation in the world with how our people who are irreconcilably different and adversarial against themselves, are inclined to negatively pull, impede, frustrate and drag each other naturally were cobbled together rather than what other nations have where citizens generally head in the same positive direction. |
