Kalashnikov49:Grow up. My meaning by that is that most Nigerians are not mature or pragmatically dispassionate enough to deal with the truth about the evil that pervades Nigeria and is caused by Nigerians. |
Kalashnikov49:Whatever. Check my past posts to see how critical of Pantami, Gumi, Malami etal I have being consistently. The problem with you lot is that you think everyone who criticises you are your haters and automatic supporters of the likes of Gumi, Pantami etal. Where were you when virtually myself alone, on Nairaland, indicted Pantami of sinister motives, while ICT Minister, to use the NIN scheme to grant Nigerian citizenship to Fulanis from different nations of Africa? There is a lot that cannot be said in public. Go and do your research so you grow up to note the stark reality of Nigeria. |
shortgun:Of course he is. Same as one of their Pastors proclaimed that "one Igbo man is equal to 500 Hausa men". Hopefully, that 'superiority" will see him walk away free on Novemver 20th that is his judgement day. |
Putindbutt:Walahi, those ignorant and self-hating irritants will sell us out into second slavery. Especially if, God forbid, the clown they worship becomes President. They always remind me of the traitor who goes and open the door so that marauders can murder everyone taking shelter, in a building, against ruthless killers. |
LegendHero:We should pose this question to ignorant, self-destructive, hideously ill-educated and self-hating Nigerians, particularly from one historically disruptive region of our nation, who now see Trump as their Christian messiah whereas same Trump and his USA have no problem fraternising with Ahmed Al-Sharaa. Those same Nigeria will mock Tinubu, their own President, claiming he cannot set foot in the USA. Yet look at who the USA is rolling out the red carpet for. Those particular set of people should come and explain the duplicity of the USA to us and why they self-loathingly sanction America "messing up" Tinubu yet the same nation will wine, dine and entertain Ahmed Al-Sharaa. As unprincipled and cynically machiavellian as the USA has been historically, what is to say Bello Turji cannot be recruited to serve the agenda of America at any stage in the future? Nigerians are the most hideously and self-destructively gullible people in the world. Our leaders and followers are like toddlers when it comes to undertstanding international relations and it's very cynical and self-serving underbelly. |
aribisala0:Ghanaians do not have the musically diverse talent Nigerians do. Even their top artists will tell you that. Look, I know the music and club scene of Nigeria and Ghana first hand to appreciate Ghanaians even vibe more to Nigerian music, because good music takes no prisoners, in their bars and clubs to the anger of their own artists who, without shame, have to insist clubs and bars tone down playing Naija music to feature and favour Ghanaian music in Ghana. We can understand "buy made in Ghana goods and shun Nigerian import, yet how can anyone justify embargo on "foreign music"? When has music, one of the best examples of the saying "cream rises to the top", needed discriminatory antics, as Ghanaians engage in, to promote it? Has music not always been about what the people prefer to listen to thus making a mockery of most of youe point here? Per bolded in your post, where did I argue winning Grammy is proof of talent? Awards mean nothing to me. Talent that is iconic, definitive and dominant does. If that's what we are speaking about then Ghanaians are no match for Nigerians. As for Tyler, take up her case with those who rate her. Per you comment about Jamaica, music is cyclical. Especially with new genre sound, like modern Afro beats for example, being captivating for a shelf life period which could be a year to decades. Jamaicans gave the gift of reggae to the world and naturally became acclaimed for it. No different to rhythm and blues African Americans dominated. It's Afro Beat's time to shine, as enthralling and captivating music from Africa, and Nigerians are the undisputed champions of it. Same as Reggae and hip hop from the Carribean and the USA, had their time to wow the world but less so today. |
@OP. The USA itself is a dubious and hypocritical nation masterful at double standards and deceit. I bet the kids on Nairaland and other Nigerian discussion blogs, kissing Trump's behind slavishly, are too ignorant to know Trump is officially meeting Ahmed Al-Sharaa , Syrian President today, who was a terrorist and leader of Al Qaeda in Syria the hypocritical and morally dubious USA had a $10 million dollar bounty on previously. The forum can fact check me on this. Yet, he is today rehabilitated as a democratic leader and pal of the USA. Is it implausible to conclude Bello Turji could be a 'rehabilitated pal' of the US tomorrow if that serves their agenda? Honestly the average Nigerian, especially those lot who hate our nation and other Nigerians, is a danger to himself because of how ignorant, naive, gullible and lacking in critical knowledge he is. Imagine how the self-destructive ignoramuses now salivate over "Saviour" USA invasion of Nigeria as if the USA , same that was instrumental in the rise of Al Qaeda and once counted Bin Laden as their ally, is now our Christian "Salvation"? How many coups, and even regime change in Africa, has the USA sponsored to achieve ulterior motives that consolidates their status as "greatest nation on Earth"? Only God can save Nigerians from themselves. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/liveblog/2025/11/10/live-syrias-ahmed-al-sharaa-to-meet-donald-trump-at-the-white-house

Salewa97:Who ie the "we"? Is the travel advisory notice for you or for British citizens? Not by force to comment. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has warned British citizens against traveling to 21 states in Nigeria, citing rising insecurity, kidnapping, violent crime, and intercommunal clashes. The advisory was last updated on October 21. |
HgAkpobomeEr:They're Not in your affairs. They're advising their own people, as should a responsible nation, per States to stay away from, in Nigeria, for their own safety. The travel advisory notice is in order. |
givedemwotowoto:I don't have time for your pedantism. Grow up. |
allthingsgood:Don't mind him. Some Nigerians are really repugnant with their self-hatred. They will rush online to use lies denying their own Presidents is doing good while keen to promote the "performance" lies of Trump that now sees 64% of Americans declaring they do not have confidence in his leadership. Trump says Nigeria is a "disgraceful" nation but he is a disgraceful President many Americans are now embarrassed of. |
Dalohad: LagosOrigin: Mrchippychappy:You people are all the same. Driven by emotions, sentiments and bias that erodes objectivity and the need to acquire knowledge that provides a man with a clear view of any picture. Trump is lying his ass off and only you feudal and bitter people, always having axes to grind with others, will believe him. Four articles below. All recent and with the first updated November 9th. I can supply 100 easily with Americans telling their story from real experience they are undergoing while you projector people are here worshipping Trump because you think that helps you gaslight Tinubu and Nigeria. Even God cannot secure salvation for you lot. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna242686 Two days later, voters blew away Republican candidates up and down the ballot in Virginia and New Jersey, results that reinforced NBC News polling showing that the vast majority of voters — about two-thirds — think the president hasn’t lived up to his promises to curb inflation and improve the economy. The common watchword for Democratic candidates who won on Tuesday — both progressives and centrists — was “affordability.”https://www.theguardian.com/business/2025/oct/16/american-economic-pessimism-political-division https://www.cbpp.org/blog/a-weakening-economy-and-a-drastically-cut-economic-support-system https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna242093 |
HgAkpobomeEr:Our diversity helps us to be innovative. If you visit Ghana, and many other African nations, you'd instantly recognise how 'mono' their outlook, thinking, culture etal is. It is natural to be inspired to be the best in a cosmopolitan and diverse melting pot environment which is what Nigeria is. |
givedemwotowoto:What are you talking about? You've brought your usual clannish and tribalistic outlook to a thread that is about Nigeria and non-Nigerians. Not ethnic groups within Nigeria. Must you people always be so ethnocentric and divisive? What is wrong with you? |
Ghanaians cannot understand that it is the diversity of Nigeria that makes Nigerian artist outstanding talents in comparison to others. Like someone said above, we should cherish that diversity that challenges and inspire Nigerians. |
Omoawoke:100% correct. This is why I will always insist insecurity ends in the North when Northerners, followers and leaders at all levels, sincerely commit to ending terrorism and banditry. |
Ever8090:That some choose to warp Islam and fashion it in a fundamentalist image does not mean that is the general form of Islam. Igbos are not "hundred times better to live than with than Muslims" from Yoruba land who are tolerant, sell Igbos land, employ and accomodatie them graciously etc, etc. The problem with people like you is that you are patently biased and prejudiced. Otherwise you'd acknowledge and praise how Yorubas already show that Islam is not a violent religion. |
PerfectMan24:Address this message to those who have not been crystal clear, as I have stated consistently, that the North, especially their wicked and irresponsible leaders, remains the biggest menace and existential threat to the peace, security and socio-economic wellbeing of Nigeria. If you people are responsible and genuinely seeking progress and solutions for Nigerians then you'd understand that those telling you irresponsible people to fix up are not automatic backers or apologists of Fulani murderous criminality destroying our nation horrendously. You will casually and dishonestly accuse Yorubas of backing Fulanis, yet not one of you can dispute the fact that it was same.Yorubas who factually fought Buhari and Malami most uncompromisingly when Fulani herdsmen menace threatened the peace of Nigeria horribly circa 2020 to 2022. You guys are just "men who are not like men" as Bianca Ojukwu described you because proper men never lie against or deny the truth about other men even if they dislike them |
ufotunang:What do you want me to say to someone suggesting Soludo 'bought' a win? Labour candidate won under 'messiah' Obi and Soludo bribed his way to win instead abi? Are you okay at all? |
tishbite41:Let's talk about what a neutral non-Nigerian can discern from looking at the Nigerian picture today. SW and SS are the safest and most progressively normal regions of Nigeria today. Both bear the best resemblance to civility and normality today of all regions of Nigeria. Fsct. Does it make sense to you that objective non-Nigerians, capable of dispassionately working with fact alone, would view you Igbos and Fulanis more sane than Yorubas and folks of the SS? You guys are too emotional to even see what the optics reveal that is not in you favour at all and actually shows, as formal travel advisory warnings of most nations reveals, the SW and SS are the two most sane regions of Nigeria today. Keep disregarding facts and reality to be projecting and fantasising just because you hate and resent the Yorubas. |
ChybuzzDD:Don't make wild and spurious allegations in an information age. You be 'owned- doing that. Prove the bolded in your post with facts if you can. When the Fulanis were marauding through Southern Nigeria ruthlessly, under Buhari, remind us of the specific and single ethnic group, in the whole Nigeria, who led by example and formally challenged Fulani herdsmen menace to birth Amotekun while your cowardly and irresponsible leaders were hiding. Was it not Yorubas who took the fight to Malami, our former AGF, and his boss in then President Buhari? Yoruba leaders did not stop there. They united to stand against Buhari with their demand below dem no born your cowardly, greedy and unprincipled leaders to ever contemplate let alone voice publicly. The days of making "Buhari is dead and replaced by Jubrin from Sudan" wild allegations are gone. I have shown Yorubas always stand against injustice and oppression , be it against Fulani or anyone else, when such is requires. Prove your allegation Yorubas "formed an evil alliance with the fulanis against the Igbos" with facts if you can. The world is getting tired of you people's attention-seeking, lies and demonization against all others you cannot dominate, subjugate and exploit. https://punchng.com/swest-govs-propose-six-regions-demand-lg-autonomy-resource-control/

ufotunang:Whatever. |
kettykin:Prove it is the FG that signed deals and not Governors and local players from the North who have always felt they are a law into themselves and part of an Islamic Nation rather than members of a secular nation. You people know the truth but simply prefer to state the opposite simply to make "Yoruba President" look bad ala "give a Dog a bad name to hang it." If you are a reasonable, progressive and peaceful person then you'd know there is no controlling what the North, a rogue nation effectively and law unto itself, does or does not do. This is effectively why I uncompromisingly back regional autonomy your sort should support also if genuinely progressive. Instead you come here daily to create mischief against "Yoruba President" and his people as if we are even 0.01% of your problem. All wise, critical-thinking and pragmatic folks know there is no way to reign in the antics of the North in so far as they dominate our armed forces and have sympathy for terrorists and bandits. Intelligence report even let's us know many high up in our armed forces are compromising the fight against insecurity because they are making tonnes of money from proliferation of terror everywhere. Furthermore, sensible Nigerians know that the saying "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter" applies to the North. Pantami, Gumi and co have shown us this many times yet you lot keep shouting Tinubu it is tragic elders like you understand the only escape route for peaceful Nigerians, i.e regional autonomy, to be safe and enjoy growth and progress yet you keep talking irresponsibly daily. You think Tinubu can just order a wipe out of bandits and terrorists across the North today, likely to result in at least the death of 100k or more combatants, and the Northerners in the Army, Air force and NPF will execute that order? Sir, if you want to be part of the solution, start by being truthful to yourself and then to younger Igbos who deserve truth from you and not deceitful brainwashing designed to feed your obsession with fighting and maligning Yorubas.
|
Codepain:It will be hard for him to escape less than 15 to 20 years jail sentence. Perhaps longer even. The delusional lot can make noise all they want but the law is clear. The servant Ekpa bagged 5 years in Finland. What does the head of the terror empire deserve? |
Dalohad:Is that all Kanu did? Na wa for you guys. Don't even know what to say anymore in regards to the ludicrous utterances of you lot. You think you've heard it all and they come up with something even more dumbfounding. Kanu was asking "for his people to be left alone" when he directed his mob to destroy Lagos plus kill Tinubu and others? Crystal clear you people only see and hear what you wish to while remaining blind and deaf to everything else. |
Lol LottiOk:Don't mind me ojare. The eternal optimists in me keeps hoping they will see sense and work with it. In reality, na waste of time with those lot as you conclude. |
Kalashnikov49:Easy to expose you people as immature and dishonest. I don't talk about Fulani yet was that not you I responded to below about Fulani fundamentalist menace all Nigerian must become aware of and protect themselves against? I one of the posters most critical of Fulanis here and calling them out for the murderous and socio-economic menaces they are to Nigeria today. In my own region, I sanction death sentence for ritual killers and passionately backed Ondo State Governors approval of death sentence for kidnapper in his state. Unlike you, I am not apologist or tacit defender of evil whether from my own or others. You're not ready to rise above indoctrination, forcing you to hate Yorubas blindly, to engage with others honestly and sincerely. Your still at the stage where you wish to always defend you and yours as innocent victims. https://www.nairaland.com/wizardofng/posts

overall90:Stop the whataboutism gaslighting. Gumi is no doubt abominable and a backer of heinous terror. The disappointment of most sane Nigerians is that you Igbos have joined his thinking with how you ate the apple of terrorism Kanu offered you. Rather than now apologize to your fellow Nigerians , denounce Kanu and retrace your steps, you continue pushing the discredited narrative IPOB are justified saints in comparison to bandits , Boko Haram, ISWAP etal. Look at even your last sentence. Is secession from Nigeria allowed without constitutional amendment? You know it is not yet you keep backing IPOB's lawless pursuit of secession. Yet you have nothing at all to say about your Igbo legislators who can move for the inclusion of a secession clause in our constitution yet fail to do so. Shame on you finger-pointing folks who don't realise the other fingers on your hand point back at you when you indict others with one finger. |
CyynthiaKiss:Learn to respect the fact that democracy is about the will of the majority and not the opinion of single individuals like yourself. |
