First u might be a lil tense buh like we were told before we started, the whole exercise wud bring out the 'you' in you and u'd lose ur tension in no time.

I'd advide u guys to be very time conscious. Its best u use a timer to time urslf so u won't be caught unawares. For the first part wch involved some calculations (but was mainly a true/false/cant say scenario exercise designed to test ur analytical skills), I was able to use my fone do some lil additions without necessarily racking my head. U may also wanna employ dis strategy so u don't waste precious time.

After d 20minutes test u'd be split into groups. Some groups wud go for their powerpoint work while some wud go for their group discussions. Our powerpoint exercise for today involved a company wch was barely breaking even even after employing some strategies (interventions) to curb dis situation. They were losing dier clients to competitors. Losing staff as well to competitors. Dier staff were poor in report writing as well. So the task was that as a consultant whose service is been employed, outline d problems dey face, give reasons y u believe dey're d problems, profer solns and state d outcome of what ur solns wud give d company. Get to master ur powerpoint presentation skills now. Remember u won't have so much time. Use bullet points like; Problems include: income loss, staff dissatisfaction, etc. Solutions like: welfare package review, cutting costs, etc.

The group task was for us to advise a company that was set up in a rural community and needed to compensate d locals in d community who felt d presence of d company has made life worse for them and planned on staging a protest at the gate of the company's facility. Three scenarios were presented so ur group is supposed to discuss (within 20minutes) what scenario(solution) wud be better and den write a proposal to d CEO of d company. Note that ur first 5minutes is meant to be used in reading thru and collecting ur thoughts. Our grp (and most of d odas I also talked to) said they chose scenario 2 because scenario wud help d company save some money, engage d youths in an activity wch dey loved (an orchestra in dis case), wud help d company advertise themselves in d North whr d youths wud perform thus opening new markets for the company, etc.

The interview segment was basically to test ur leadership, team playing, innovative, problem-solving skills. U need to start thinking up scenarios where u employed ur leadership skill in solving a problem, where u were a part of a team and how u contributed to the team in terms of achieving targets, how u were innovative or creative and was able to think outside-the-box to solve an issue, etc.

I think I've given so much expo on the things we did today. Sorry I dint do this earlier. Got home late; I missed my way while driving back. Hope dez few tips help u guys.

Seems like FBN/workforce wants to reverse d trend dis time around. The assesment often starts with the lagos peeps before, but i guess dey want to attend to other zones first dis time around and probably conclude wit lagos zone. Obviously, Enugu seems to b through wit assessment and dey are already calling on d Abj homies. It wld likely end with d lagos homies. So, ma peeps in Lagos, lets remain expetant and prepare harder !

Lemme share with U my experience @ d FBN AC.

First of all, congrats to all who got the sms invite to the assessment centre, don't rejoice yet cus there is more shreading to b done, they r still gonna slect d best of d best. So listen carefully and follow my precept line by line. FBN might not tk more dan 100-250 new trainees nationwide. So b guided

Once U get to d AC,U'll go thru d accreditation stage. After accreditation, U will take another aptitude test, but more likened to an ability test where u'll have to think thru the scenario and choose answers from the options provided.

After which u will be divided into groups and then u'll be given a scenario to discuss with ur group. Don't argue or shout any1 down, nor interrupt, make sure U give points and make reasonable sense, don't repeat ur suggestions or findings. Smile while responding and if its possible, be the one to take down points and be concise about it, as the supervisor will ask that u submit ur findings on behalf of ur group.

Then an "addendum" will be given which u'll have to read thru to prepare ur slide. U shouldn't have more than 6-10slides, bur make it detailed if u can use animations to drive ur points from the addendum given, good one also. Pls note that u will be given 15mins to prepare ur slide and 5mins 2 present it. Remember while u r discussing with ur team, read ur addendum n note ur points. Then u'll butteress on ur point in ur slide presentation. Don't write stories, just give bullet points then explain thats why its called a powerpoint presentation. Be confident and bold, smile and focused, be sure of whatever point u make, even when they counter U and say u r wrong,always reinsist that to d best of ur own knowledge and how its obtainable(relating to ur addendum) that's wat u think. And remember to intoduce urself and what u r presenting and den thank d panel @ d end of ur presentation. Then remember don't stutter or sound unsure, twill count against U. Remember its 5mins 4 presentation and 20mins 4 preparing ur PPslide. Pls be confident ooooooo. Its germaine. And pls be calm and breatheeeeee, hold ur breathe and control ur pulse, anxiety and over excitement.

After d presentation, u'll go thru d interview stage, ds u'll b asked ur strenght, weakness, whr uv held a leadership role, wat process improvement idea do u have, ur level of creativity, alwaz remember to say u r a good team player, and u most prove and explain whr and how u were active as a team member and a team player. If u fit lie, lie ooo, nobody go ask U if na true or na lie, what is ur passion, why firstbank, why do u think we shld hire U, then know stuffs about FBN generally and read different interview questions.

Then after u r done for dat day. A week later u'll get an sms and email inviting u for a personality test. Then after answering it,u'll be sent an sms to update ur location, that whr u choose whr u wanna work, after which u'll wait as the whole process will be computed u must have a certain percentage score b4 u'll be invited to training sch, dats getting the almighty sms from FBN inviting U 4 medicals and training sch. So now yam and knife dey una hand.

I was at the assessment centre last year, made it to the training sch and FBN. Training sch was another interesting place. Quite Intensivvvvvvvvvvvvvve but fun. But above all prepare, prepare and prepare and pray pray pray as much as U can. Commit all to God and ask 4 favour. No overdo, remember overskill dey kill monkey.

In addition, pls note that U shld try and prepare for essay writing also, garnish urself with the trends happening in d Nigerian Banking system and financial sector. Its the new trend in assessment centres, nt sure if workforce/FBN will adopt dat style. Bur its rather u prepare 4 d worse dan taken unaware.

1. Download My Data Manager (1.5MB)
2. Open it and tap set data plan, then go to plan type and then Put 4.7 in data limt and 0(zero) in d data used
3. Dial *406*1#
4. Their server may not reply u on time, u just on ur data nd start browsing!
NOTE______
1. The mtn 5mb is just 4.7mb
2. It expires by 11:59 pm
3. If u exhaust the 5mb, u can just opt out by dialing *406*2# then opt in again with *406*1# nd reset ur data manager

Dear service provider,

I wish to make my reservations known about the inability to verify the level of data usage on the ipulse plan.

Whenever I purchase my 5naira for 5mb daily by dialing *406*1#, there is virtually no short service code to check and monitor data usage on this plan and it makes it pretty difficult to ascertain what the problem is when there is an inability to connect to the internet, one would not be able to ascertain if it is actually a temporal network problem or the data subscribed for has actually been exhausted.

It also makes it difficult to judiciously and efficiently maximize the usage of the data being subscribed for.

I would appreciate if this is looked into and an adequate service code is provided for this purpose or it is incorporated into the already known *559#.

actually blocked d bb subscription for non-bb users. I hav bin blazing with d tun.ko and
droidvpn poo for d past 2days, it really drains by battery and gets my phone cooking hot.
I just removed my sim dis evening and placed it back in my phone, lo and behold, my bb
subscription was blazing like fire without d tun.ko and droidvpn paparazzi. Just normal
connection with d blackberry.net apn, dats all
