mroyato:Many thanks, bro |
ebose09:Thanks ebose09 |
Morning my people. Will be heading to SA next week and I have two questions... 1. Have a 30 day Tourist Visa. I'll be touring different cities and so I'm booking just 5 days first in Pretoria with AirBnB and would book for other cities later. Question: Hope 5 days accommodation receipt is OK to present @ POE? 2. Where's the best place to exchange Naira to Rand? Lagos Airport or Joburg Airport or PTA via bank here in Naija. Many thanks in advance for your responses |
andrew444:Hi Andrew, you've really made this thread lively with your energy. For me, I see it as 7 weeks cos there were holidays inbetween. If you do a little research here you'll see that visas take an average 7 - 8 weeks and there's no need to be agitated yet. Those who got theirs earlier are what we can call the exception to the rule. 7 Blessings! |
albertbosun:I applied to vacation in SA. So, somehow, even if the March 15 travel date wasn't workable...my purpose for traveling was open-ended, meaning a man can tour SA anytime. If yours was for an event with a strict start and end date, then they wouldn't see any justification for issuing the visa since technically, the event has passed. I know the delay is their fault which they ought to have apologized for, but if an event has passed, visa purpose is defeated. Next time when you're applying for an event, give like 10 weeks apart to apply so you can give allowance for visa processing delays. Best wishes! |
Somalino:A big YES to that. Travel date was March 15 and visa came April 23. You can imagine! |
So, I've been checking this forum since I applied for my SA visa and I've "tapped" a lot for future use since I had submitted before discovering this forum. Here's my experience: Visa Type: Tourist Drop off: VFS Abuja Submission date: March 1 Passport return date: April 23 Duration: 7 weeks sharp Visa: Yes Call? No call Best wishes to those still waiting... |
czarina:@ Grupo & Czarina, I feel a man has the right to offer info for a fee. There's nothing wrong with it...in fact, it's standard practice abroad: It's typical for a physician or business consultant in the US (for instance) to charge you 100's of dollars per hour for guess what? Just info. He can decide to offer info for free or for a fee. It's his call and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. When I saw his offer, I contacted him, interviewed him to be sure his info has a chance of being legit, and I sent him the money in exchange for the info. I'd be confirming its authenticity this week, and irrespective of the outcome, I'd move on. Note: I'm 100% against selling fake info for a fee and people who do that don't last in the game. But, legit info for a fee? I'm a sucker for that. Let's allow people do their legit business without name calling or any form of emotional blackmail. We also shouldn't hold/force others to embrace our values. No hard feelings...just dishing out my opinion on Te matter. Enjoy your week, everyone. |
smokers:If you're 100% sure of your claim, contact me via my siggy for a brief interview. Thanks! |
Grupo:Hi Grupo, could you ask those "Topnotch" writers to contact me via my siggy? Running a writing agency and I don't mind paying them "premium" rates (N5/word) if they prove to be a good fit at my agency |
TLinkSystems:Hi. Pls contact via my signature. Need to confirm something. Thanks |

Subtlelad:That's right Subtlelad. You spoke my mind. BTW, is Available Now gone for good? |
Emmyk:Biz is good bro. So, if I get a new Payoneer Card, no more charges for transactions BTW Fiverr and Payoneer, even instant loading? |
Emmyk:Not FREE at all. Instant loading to Payoneer from Fiverr eats up $3 and even the slower loading option (3days) cost $1 in service charge. Just to clear the air. How's the biz going? |
Ajibolatao:Tao is the man! Yes, I got a US PayPal account with his help, but that's not the main news... He walked me through the step by step, until I opened it on my own. It took a while for me to successfuly pull it through, but he was extremely patient with me (considering he could've done it in minutes, if I didn't insist on DIY style) He's competent, reliable and patient. 5 Stars for this gentleman. |
Charzyh2 helped me with my Upwork account within 24hrs as promised. More than just account opening, his after-sales service is topnotch. Always willing to help with questions and concerns. Highly recommended! |
yusuftaiwo2015:Smooth transaction even without Escrow... |

chubbyswit:@Chubbyswit, thanks for your offer. I already found someone before quoting you though. But it's good I know you're into this in case of next time. Cheers! |
chubbyswit:Indeed it would take a superhuman! Meant to say 1500 words jare. |
DerrickM:@DerrickM, thanks for bringing my attention to the error. I meant 1500 word, not page. Found someone already. Thanks |

frank417:Lol at composing songs. I understand what you mean but my mind kept wandering to a choir setting where you're making songs as a Fiverr gig. A word of personal advice though: Focus on a niche. Do music or writing. Not both |

Bro, as much as I feel your point of view, I strongly believe samples should be supplied on request in a reasonable manner. Sometimes, buyers want a feel of your style and expertise to help them decide to pitch tent with you or not, and that's fair enough. Sending a book is not sample again naa. If a buyer is sincere about seeing a sample for the reasons I stated above, then a 300 word article (writing niche) should suffice as sample. As someone already said above, using once discretion to send or not to send is way to go. As a general rule, "Never Say Never." |
