PoliticsRe: Mob Kills 2, Burns Mosques In Adamawa by worm(f): 9:03am On Jan 14, 2012
islamrules:
Is media really supporting the xtian ?

When boko-haram bomb a church and media report it (even though boko-haram later claimed responsible). Is that support or just their work/duty/responsibility ?

Some people will claim nigerian muslims doesnt support boko-haram, but i do say it that they do, they only come out to pretend and lie with their mouth, but inside they are happy.
I have yoruba muslim friend who take boko-haram issue personal. He can even kill you when ill-talk about boko-haram.
Muslims cannot be trusted (e.g. U). And the whole world is blaming America because of muslims. U cant blame America. America know what Islam is, thats why they are doing what they are doing. I used to blame America b4, but no more.

What nairalanders are saying is, Is it wise for a little muslim population in Enugu to start burning churches ?
If it happens, I am so sure you are one of those who are gonna come here say it is christians that are burning their own church.
It is logic and not bias or sentiment.

Before muslims in Enugu even finish burning a church, the xtian indegenes will have confronted them and kill them.

The same is applicable to adamawa a muslim/hausa land.

An Igbo guy was arrested dressing like a boko-haram member in an attempt to burn a church in the east.

Why cant the same happen in Adamawa ?

Islam is peace ironically true
Why are you pple using your d!cks instead of your head to think?
So spew the rubbish above to defend what your christian brothers did?

There are many threads on this forum where muslims deny supporting boko haram. There are bad eggs in every religion period. Somebody even said above that christians can never do such, so ALL christians are saints. SMH

The only thing CNN and BBC will report is 'Boko Haram' killing christians and vice versa. Fuel subsidy protest is bringing Nigerians together and they dont want that. The only thing they are interested in is what will drift Nigerians apart.
PoliticsNigeria Targeted For Destruction? by worm(op): 12:44pm On Jan 11, 2012

For Those Who Have Ears to Hear

By Gordon Duff, Senior Editor

I won’t write about Nigeria as a journalist.  I am known in Nigeria as a national security specialist with decades of experience there.

I have close personal friends at the highest levels of government and only write these few words out of deep concern.
For those reading the news about Africa, both of you, Nigeria is under terrorist attack and preparing military operations against a group called Boko Haram, an Islamic group from the North, more accurately centered in Niger, a nation to the north, a cesspool of international intrigue.

From Veterans Today’s London correspondent, a specialist on African affairs:

1. The security of the presidency and the entire nation has been greatly compromised by the activities of certain individuals very close to the presidency.

2. It is common knowledge that the president of Nigeria is not protected at all and you can get at him at any time in or out of his residence.

3. The security around him is a joke to say the least, contrary to the views of certain individuals around the president.

4. The issues of government by settlement which had long plagued Nigeria are the orders of the day now where certain individuals are asking for colossal sums of money from certain security consultants to provide training and security equipment to the government.

5. One individual in particular has been known to collect huge sums of money from these outfits currently parading themselves as security consultants in Abuja

6. The level of cover and protection given the president and his family is simply laughable and nonexistent
Why has the country been compromisedhuh

It is widely known that certain foreign elements are providing security to the president and providing his current security details.

What a joke, you might say. These same foreign elements are the same who have sold outdated equipment to the government and are going around Abuja installing CCTV and bomb detection equipment around the capitol, technology decades old.

Huge sums of money have changed hands for second rate equipment

The government pays for a Rolls Royce car but gets a VW Beetle instead!!
Why is there so much fear and apprehension among Nigerians that the government can no longer protect its citizens?

What are the costs expended so far on security equipment and the so called security consultants?
Why have certain individuals collected bribe money to award these security contracts at over inflated figures?
Now, this is one example of several of how corruption is endemic and goes to the heart of government.
You may wonder who stands to benefit from these contracts at the expense of the security of the president, the presidency and the nation.

The answers to these questions lies within the presidency itself because of the acts of these individuals in the last few weeks.
There are no real interests to control the activities of Boko Haram because of the vested interests of certain foreign governments in collusion with their agents in the present administration and the country.
To some in government, this is another tool to control certain individuals.
Most Nigerians are cowards, anyway. Kill a few “Nigerians,” “Christians” and make it look like christ6ianity against Islam to provoke a reaction from Nigerians.

If you get no reaction, kill a few more or go after prime targets to grab headlines.
Again, you may ask yourself, who stands to gain when there are terror scares in the country?
Nigerians are highly intelligent and resourceful people and can put an immediate end to all of these happenings when their own status is on the line and their livelihood is at stake or threatened.

PoliticsReasons Why People Are Not Protesting The Subsidy Removal by worm(op): 11:40am On Jan 04, 2012
1 - Most people are still stuck in the villages. Transport fairs have gone up making it difficult for them to come back as planned - A good timing by Retardeen?

2 - Most people (including myself  grin) still have not exchausted their tanks of the fuel we bought before the bad news.

3 - Some people foolishly think this is all about petrol, cars and generators alone. Prices of garri, rice, tomatoes, toothpastes, cooking oil etc are still the same (old stock). By the time new stock comes in with double prices that is when people's eyes will clear.

These are my thoughts and if you have more please feel free to add to the list.

For those saying fuel subsidy is here to stay i think it is too early for that assumption. People are going to protest.

My experience:

There is this vigilante group that normally knocks on my gate every month end to collect N100. They came yesterday and i gave them the usual N100 the man refused, looked at me and say "madam na N200 i dey collect now pa"  cheesy This is the effect of fuel subsidy removal!
PoliticsRe: We Will Kill Again, Says Boko Haram by worm(f): 12:29pm On Dec 31, 2011
For those saying all sort of things because of the verses quoted from the Quran, please dont forget verses even from your bible are given wrong interpretations sometimes. This is exactly what is happening.

zangality:
This BH are using verses of the noble Quran to justify their evil acts, may God punish them all. It's clearly stated in the Quran that do not terrorise and trangress in the land.Almighty Allah only commanded the Phophet  and the muslims to defend themselves when they were being prosecuted for their faith, and the fighting stopped once the prosecution ceased. Their current fighting doesn't have any base in the Quran since we muslims are not prosecuted for our faith. They sould look elsewhere for the support of their evil act.
^^ on point.
PoliticsA Foiled Bomb Attack In Kano? by worm(op): 11:43pm On Dec 29, 2011
This is not confirmed but i received a call from a friend saying there is tension in Kano right now as security is intensified with checkpoints everywhere. According to him two cars filled with explosives was discovered packed near a central mosque today. Tomorrow is Friday so people believe that it is planned to go off while people are praying tomorrow.

A reprisal attack?

PoliticsRe: President Goodluck Jonathan Should Resign? by worm(f): 8:00pm On Dec 28, 2011
VoodooDoll:
GEJ should not resign because of Boko Haram. I do not like GEJ's economic policy and most of his other policies but I do not want him to resign over security. GEJ resigning over security would be a disaster to Nigeria and set us back decades.

If GEJ resigns, who takes his place:

- Sambo?
- David Mark?
- Tambuwal?
- Fresh elections?

No, if some elements in Nigeria cannot stand a Niger Delta man being president then that's extremely pathetic. Boko Haram and the military elite are the only ones who benefit from a GeJ resignation and the correlation between GEJ's ascendancy and Boko Haram's attacks is quite strong.

Sambo, Mark and Tambuwal are even less qualified to "rule" Nigeria than GEJ is. Either of these chaps in charge would be much worse than GeJ.

GEJ, stand your ground - tackle Boko Haram and their sponsors ruthlessly. The floor is yours. If you must resign then announce a Sovereign National Conference and do your duty.

Then a big sigh of relief (even from the bombings) since it is widely believed that it is an attack on his govt. I can only be ready to die in protecting a government with direction not a govt or a leader that smiles on the news of bomb attack on his people.

PoliticsIn The Name God, The Compassionate, The Merciful by worm(op): 3:20pm On Dec 28, 2011
The Muslim Public Affairs Centre (MPAC) is horrified and sickened by the cold blooded murder of innocent worshipers on Christmas day in the Northern parts of the country. The indiscriminate and reckless bombing of innocent Nigerians who were peacefully engaged in acts of worship has yet again unmasked the criminal nature and motive of the evil perpetrators.

The targeting of worshipers in places of worship is an abhorrent act which contravenes the principles of Islam, humanity and logic. The subsequent bloodbath was an incredible tragedy which words fail to describe. We add our voices to those around the world who, horrified by yet another attack, continue to search for answers as to how our nation can escape from the grips of the hate cultists bent on imposing their evil ideology on us.

No words can describe the grief and horror we feel on this occasion and we express our sincere condolences to the whole Christian communities in Nigeria and beyond. We offer sincere condolences to the families of the victims and call for a swift resolution to the conflict in that troubled region of the country so all people may live in peace and freedom. Those who commit acts of terror, murder and cruelty in the name of Islam are not only destroying innocent lives, but are also betraying the values of the faith they claim to represent. On this occasion and in similar incidents, Nigerian Muslims and Muslims everywhere stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our Christian brothers and sisters and we are determined to continue to work together to remove the mischief of those seeking to destroy peaceful co-existence and harmony. We feel the sorrow and share the grief of all that were affected by this tragedy- this evil attack is a crime committed against mankind.

Nigerian Muslims refuse to allow our faith to be held hostage by the criminal actions of a tiny minority acting outside the teachings of both the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. We repudiate and dissociate ourselves from any Muslim group or individual who commits such brutal and un-Islamic acts. Those who think that they will be successful by indiscriminately killing innocent people or causing upheaval in the society, or by spreading fear and wickedness are clearly in error.

God Almighty has forbidden all acts of terrorism and has condemned all those who consent to terrorism, knowingly shed blood of the innocent and look with hatred on the world. These terrorists will have their days in the court of God Almighty.

PoliticsRe: Islamic Scholars Condemn Xmas Day Bombings by worm(f): 8:05pm On Dec 27, 2011
THOSE BLAMING THE ISLAMIC LEADERS FOR KEEPING MUTE DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON.
They are as scared as everyone when it comes to boko haram. The true is that they also are not happy with the bombings but if they dare open their mouth these guys will target and kill them and they dont want to die! simple

This is what i found out:
An Islamic cleric was shot in a mosque while leading prayers 2 yrs ago in Kano. Yusuf the boko haram leader was his student. They went separate ways because of Yusuf's extremist ideas towards Islam. It is suspected that Yusuf sent his boys to kill this man because he always condemn Yusuf's views.

Question:
If they can kill the man that has made them what they were just because they feel he didnt support their activities who do you think other imams or sultans are.

Those people waiting for boko jaram to attack mosques/muslims before believing that it is a national problem, the answer is simple.

They cant attack mosques because they also call themselves muslims. They cant attack muslims because they see them as their brothers.

This was revealed to me by a muslim friend.

May God forgive you all.

Just because some confused group is using Allah's name to kill does not give you the right to disrespect Him. Even Jesus Christ that you worship recognizes and respect Him. An informed Muslim like myself will never disrespect Jesus (Isa) because i recognize him also ( as a prophet)
