Remove eithnic and religious sentiments in the heart of Nigerians and replace that with oneness. phew! your (our ) problems are halve solved.

For those clamouring for separation, even if this happened it will take a looooong time before each group will find a direction. The reason is that the problems i have mentioned above have produce yet another monster called corruption and greed among our leaders. Few decades back our leaders tend to work towards developing their various regions/people even the money they steal goes to their regions. But today we have a set of leaders that uses the support of their people to steal/divert the public funds into their personal bank accounts.

Even here on NL today we have people saying they voted for GEJ not because he was good but because he is a christian and from the south and as far as he is there even if hell will come visiting they are ok with that. The same thing will be said by people from the north if Atiku or Buhari happened to be the president today.

Today the socalled northern leaders that have led/ruled this country for decades without having anything to show for are holding secret meetings discussing how leadership can return to the north. The same guys that have unleashed Boko Haram and are sacrificing their 'brothers' today for their political gains. Come 2015 (if Nigeria still exists), the poverty strinking Almajiris/Abokis will still vote for them, reason? because they are from the North!

If you shout Revolution in Nigeria today the simple question that will face you is 'where are you from?' if you are from the North then it's not a revolution. Simple, you want to overthrow Jonathan who is from the south to install your brother Atiku or IBB. If you are from the south? You will first be beaten black and blue then Yaba Left will be your new home because you are 'Insane'

I learnt it was a police BARRACK that was attacked. Where police and their families stays, you can imagine women and children that will be killed in this attack. If this Boko can confront a police barrack with armed brigades stationed outside then it is really getting out of hand. People normally seek refuge in the police station/barracks during violence and now station and barrracks are the prime targets. What is happeninggggggggggggggggg??

I am sure oracles are being consulted over this and so many people will die for this. SMH

KANO (AFP) – Gunmen in Nigeria’s flashpoint city of Kano on Thursday shot dead a man known for publicly criticising Boko Haram Islamists, blamed for a series of recent attacks in the area, residents said.

Alhaji Muhammadu, 60, was shot by two men riding on motorcycles as he left a mosque in the Hoton Fulani area Kano city. He died in hospital.

“We had just finished our evening prayers and he was heading home when two men on motorcycles stopped close to him and shot him twice before they drove off,” resident Maikudi Danlami said.

“They were from all indication members of Boko Haram because after shooting him they said, ‘let’s see how you are going to be critical of us. Let’s see what your boasting can achieve,” said Danlami, who witnessed the shooting.

A nurse at a local hospital said Muhammadu “was shot twice at close range.”

Residents said that Muhammadu was known for openly criticising Boko Haram, who have claimed a series of attacks in Kano, including a January 20 assault that killed at least 185.

“He never hid his aversion to Boko Haram and would voice his disapproval of the sect publicly,” said Hasan Kawu, another resident.

The Boko Haram insurgency has already claimed more than 200 lives this year. The Islamists have largely struck at the police and other symbols of authority, but Christians have also been targeted.

In a leaflet distributed around Kano last month, Boko Haram said it would target anyone who “collaborates” against the group, “even if he is a Muslim.”

I am just concern about the part that says police are running errands for them. Assuming this is true then how the hell will i run errands for people that will turn around and bomb/shoot me in the police station where i work? ok, if i am kept in the loop as to when the attack will take place, what happened to my colleagues whom i have respect for and wouldnt want them dead?
