Screen is currently being fixed at our office for 14K, it was reduced AFTER YOU PLEADED MADAM that we reduce it to 12K

The power button flex WE BOTH AGREED TO 2K TO Fix IT.. After we fixed it and it was working YOU PLEADED THAT YOU HAD NO MONEY ON YOU, THAT WE SHOULD REDUCE IT TO 1K which you paid a day after.
You only told me it was N2000 after fixing it, I told you I don't have cash at hand that I had only N450 as cash on me. That's when you said I should pay N1000 for it and I said I will do the transfer when I get home then you asked me to make it N2000 , but I said let's do it for N1000 Of course it won't cross my mind to tilt the phone to see if it will fall off. Properly fixed buttons don't fall when tilted

Your phone was *TOTALLY BLANK WHEN YOU BROUGHT IT MA* phones with bad screens rarely go BLANK unless there are other issues. When a screen is cracked/broken you will would usually see ink on stains on it NOT TOTALLY BLANK.

You brought it to our office asking that we fix Screen + Camera.. There's no way what we did could have caused the phone to start looping (the phone had underlying issues that wasn't made known).

Its not our duty to make sure your phone IS TOTALLY OKAY because we didn't diagnose it. What you asked us to change, we did. That should be where our duty lies, that's what was paid for.

Offering you data connectivity to update your phone is a privilege to you in our bid two ensure you left our office with a good experience.

Reducing prices for you (on two occasions) is also a form of ensuring you left with a good experience.

Servicing your board after we have saw your whitish debris on it (sign of liquid damage) is our bid in the ensuring you left with a good experience.

IT is therefore quite surprising when we saw this issue brought to nairaland without exhausting communicating with us...

In all, we still hope to resolve any pending issue you may have with the screen/power button we fixed.

I contacted you because I saw you posted redmi screen was N12,000 and you still have N12,000 on your recent post.
I called your sales rep 3 times, first was on Thursday to inform her, she said you were not available, I told her to inform you. I called again that afternoon she said you were not available. I called on Friday again, she said you were not available. How else am I to contact you again?

Providing data is part of you job to make sure everything works well, not a privilege!!
You didn't reduce the prices only that of the button and I am happy I didn't pay more than N1000 for the button.
Technology MarketRe: The Xiaomi Thread Store by wowdiva: 4:22pm On May 10, 2020
I keep to my word, that's why I still sent the N1000. Others won't do that, take a look at what you claimed you fixed. I don't mince words, ask your sales rep, I told everything wrong and right with the repair. I told her the camera is very ok.

Trust me sir/ma, achieving a 100% when offering a repair service is quite difficult. We are also learning and we will begin to deliberately ask for users reviews especially on Nairaland. It is a norm for people to keep quiet when they get a good service, but really complain when the service is less than perfect.

We will continue to strive to improve our services (we are not perfect). Out of over 500 repairs we may have rendered on Nairaland, 1-10 bad reviews may not seem out of place.

This person who made this complaint missed out some points:

1. On two occasions prices were reduced after she pleaded.
2. Our office provided internet service for her to update the phone/apply google login when her hotspot was failing.
3. We allowed her the privilege of completing payment (though a minor payment) when she got home
4. There was liquid damage related issues that we observed and took care of (like servicing the board) at no extra cost.

Sometimes we may be quick to give negative reviews, it is just the usual human behaviour.
How much was reduced? When I called, you said the screen was N12,000 then camera was N3500. I got to your office, you said the screen was N14000 and camera N5000 which wasn't what I was told initially. And from your post here it says redmi N7 screen is N12,000. I paid N17,000. How did you reduce the price? Your engineer mentioned you saw water traces, and my phone has never fallen in water. After fixing my screen, it was stuck in boot loop, I didn't have that issue before bringing it to you. I had to wipe my phone details to see if it will work. You asked me to connect to WiFi which I asked you and you said you dont have. I decided to share WiFi from my other phone, and it wasn't going through that was when you brought out your phone to share WiFi with me. So don't make it like you did me a big favour, it's part of your JOB!!! you will have to test everything to make sure it works. You later said my volume buttons were bad and you need to change it. I said ok after changing you charged N2000 for the button, which I told you I don't have cash at hand that I will do the transfer when I get home, I requested for a discount and you said I should pay N1000 Which I agreed to. Only for me to get home tilted my phone and the button fell off, I proceeded to transfer the N1000 the next day.
Not to mention how you wasted my day that day, you asked me to come take the phone by 10am , I specifically told your sales girl that I have to leave Ikeja by 12pm, she asked you and the told me to come pick up by 10pm. My husband dropped me as I assured him we will leave before 12pm. He had an appointment and had to cancel that appointment because of me, we left Ikeja around 5pm my husby was very angry. Your sales girl called me by 9:45am that morning, I had gotten to your office before I saw the call. So don't sound like you did me any favour.

We apologise for the issues you have with the screen we fixed for you. Anytime you're around Ikeja kindly bring it around for a cross-check.

We don't fix inferior screens, aftermarket screens will never meet the quality of OEM: that's not just with us. It is quite unfair when you insinuate no one should use our service. We have attended to several needs and satisfied quite a number of people here on Nairaland.

We hope we can help you resolve any pending issues with your phone.
The screen now freezes and sometime twitches. I will definitely bring it over, after I am fit to make such journey. I am currently under the weather

I called thrice, courtsey demands you return my calls or even acknowledge via message. I even still paid for the button I noticed was coming off after getting home.HABA!!! I really am not a drama person, if not, I would have brought the drama to your office.

You have a very bad customer relations, after collecting money for fixing, you use inferior items to fix them. I called to inform you that the screen you fixed fluctuates at night, then the buttons you said you fixed were coming off. You told your sales rep to tell me you were not around. No wonder you were not straight forward the first day I was at your office asking for @repairpalng. The drama I met the next day was second to none, I am sure you used an inferior screen for the lady. The lady called you to complain and you told her you have fixed more expensive phones than hers.
No one should use you, I blam myself for not making adequate research before giving you my phone.

You guys put a fake screen on my max 2. The phone still hangs and your work was not neat at all. I must say this. It's sad. I contacted your sales rep and she did give me good answer
I wish I saw the reviews here before going to him. Very bad customer service after collecting money. Used inferior replacement screen for me. The volume button that was fixed came right off when I got home, called them and the sales girl gave me a flimsy excuse. If this is what you have been doing. Mine will be the last
BusinessRe: Package Delivery From Lagos To Port Harcourt by wowdiva: 9:57am On May 05, 2020

Fellow Nairalanders
I needed a laptop and I recently came across a seller on jiji who has the specific model I am looking for, actually, the laptop is on Amazon, but they can not deliver to Nigeria at the moment due to the covid 19 pandemic.
So I got talking with the seller on WhatsApp,we agreed on the price and other things but now,to deliver the package from Lagos (where he is) to Port Harcourt(where I am) is the issue
He is saying that his company's policy is pay on delivery, but it isn't possible at the moment,so he has suggested that I transfer the money to his account first, then he will send me the laptop through GIG logistics.I have also suggested some other methods such as him sending someone from Lagos to deliver the laptop in which I will foot the transportation fare and others, but he said that none of his staff will agree to come over.
This is my first time of buying something online,so I dont know how secure this is,I actually know Amazon, whose services are safe, but I am aware that jiji has warned all of us customers to always insist on "pay-on-delivery"
So now I am asking from the experienced folks over here, what do u suggest that I do and should I go ahead and wire the money??
I apologise for the long epistle
P.S:The laptop costs 280k
RUN! Even if it's payment on delivery as long as it's from jiji, RUN! I a similar experience in February, but it was my husband that was duped via payment on delivery via same jiji. They found a way to distract him and switched the item. We reported the issue to jiji. They never responded. jiji has been hijacked by scammers . There are creditable stores on instagram that also have physical stores that sells.

@lolobukkie.
You flatter me. Lolll. I already sent you an email.
i am just an applicant, just that i have been researching a lot about how to move from Nigeria without using study visa or showing a lot of money for proof of funds.

I used to hate the way things are in Nigeria but with the latest trend of things now and the COVID 19 issue, i am really really scared not just about how things will play out with containing this disease but by how life will be here after this whole thing.
Some people will look at this pathway as a denigrading and beyond them/their status/their degree etc but i do know one thing and that is when push comes to shove, people will go hungry in this country degree or no degree, crime will be worse than what we are seeing now.

I dont want to stick around and wait for that to happen. it is better for me to be in an economy where my minimum wage is actually able to make an impact in my family, my children get access to world class education for free, my family has access to the best medical system in the world, the tax i pay is used judiciously, there is rule of law and accountability is expected from public office holders.
Hello, Thank you for providing insights on this program. I have gone through your blog and it's information packed, however I have some questions/hurdles . Please I will send you a Dm. Thanks in advance

Ma’am, as of today, Nigerian law does not recognise anything like that. What you are is a quack, either you learn from a Dr or Nurse or small scale hospital, and whoever this ‘nurse/small scale hospital’ is, they have duped you. I’d suggest you ask them for a refund and then go to a Uni or School of Nursing. Then you can start thinking of travelling to any Country you so wish. That certified certificate you have is not it
Ok

I don’t think so. But I’m surprised to hear Nigeria has a certified Nurse assistant program. Do you mind telling me more about this program and how to get into one please?
Nope not the ones they call quacks, those are people that learn from nurses or a small scale hospital. There is an institution that offers certified training for Nursing aides, Phlebetomy and Medical assistant. Though they claim their certification is recognized in UK and other countries aside Canada. I was thinking of taking up the program once we are free from the pandemic

You can't work as a Nurse in the UK with any of the NVQs. A Nurse is different from a Health Care Assistant or Healthcare Support worker or Carer.

But there are enough trainings and competency based courses.
Hello please can a certified nurse assistant with certification from Nigeria work in UK? Are there number of years experience required to work in UK.

You sha like to argue. I said a average , I did not say all, plus I provided proof. Of course some would earn above like a Nigerian American physician . I work in the health care field myself , unless your mid level provider ( like nurse practitioner or physician assistant ) or physician it’s not easy to make six figures without overtime , unless you live in a high cost of living state that’s pays well for base salaries like California .
Please I am about starting my journey in the health sector, pls can I email you?

The only reason I follow this show is because of doublechris. I would love to see the end of this love journey. A lady rejected by guys as a partner, who doesn't tick the boxes in the 'looks' department; now paired with this charming younger dude; who if had a choice, wouldn't have chosen her as a partner. But here they are, on this journey together. I love their story. Going to follow them even after the show.
My heart melted watching how Ville celebrated Chris during the pool time. Carried her like a baby. Watching Chris spoon-feed Ville was so cute too. Ville on the other hand felt uneasy. Dude seem shy n trys to be careful around Chris. He hardly looks her in the eye.
I love this love story. It is interesting to me. Though I'm a bit sceptical about Mr Ville but I'm seriously hoping that this is something real.
Fingers crossed.
You just spoke my mind. I really love Chris, she has started having feelings for Ville. I hope if works out for them

Hello mamas, welldone.
Please my DD will be a month old in few days time. Please i need recommendation on hair products to use on her. I bath her with sebamed and rub olive oil on her. So far it's been good but I'm not perceiving that soft babyish fragrance (dunno if I'm making sense undecided) from her hair or even body when i carry her.
Please suggest a baby shampoo or oil i can use. Thanks.

I just carried my DD outside and I'm seeing that she has cradle cap. Please between nizoral shampoo and that leaf which one is best? Please any other suggestion will be appreciated.
I just applied coconut oil on DS when he had it, I think I combed afterwards. I can't remember
