as in the last night I got to ojodu I was confused because ojodu I know is like okokomaiko grin ambode is working but the useless governor of ogunstate would only spend money at Abeokuta instead of areas close to Lagos like agbara sango ijebu ode sagam angry
Even Abeokuta is still not looking like a serene city. Places that needs urgent touch are sagamu-ogijo, alagbole-akute-ajuwon, agbado, sango Ota and Agbara estate road axis

If only Amosun the ogun state counterpart can wake up cos 80per. of those seen on the fly over live around :Denrol, Alagbole, Akute, Ishashi and so on...
Contractors have resumed work in those axis. I pray he finishes these area before 2019. Ogun state have the resources to catch up with lagos but the leadership of the state from the onset has been so poor.

Two times 'that amount' is 100k... So what is special about earning 100k and still looking for a job?

That you feel it's good enough an amount doesn't mean that it is. I earn same with some additional benefits ad bonuses some other person would term as nice and yet I'm madly looking for a job. Everyone has their reason why they are job searching. Some for the money, some for passion/fulfillment, some for higher portfolio, some for better working environments, etc.

So don't just come online to rubbish someone's reality statement just cos it sounds strange to you. Besides, depending on how much career driven you are. .. By the time you earn that amount and pay for certifications here and there you'd fast realise it isn't really so much money after all.
Apt response

Africans are there own enemies
GEJ was there and it never occurred to them for once that he should ask them to relocate.

Between these IOCs cited their HQ preferably in Lagos and FCT mainly due to the friendly environment.

It will be difficult telling shell, Exxon Mobil, chevron, etc to relocate. They won't listen.

Though the issue should have been diplomatically addressed in the past but its the otherwise

Romance › Re: Woman Obama Proposed To Twice Before He Met Michelle Obama by wristbangle:
This is a lesson to instagram and nairaland slay queens who look down on guys whom are temporarily broke at the moment.

You rather go for made men and end up as frustrated baby mamas.

Someone with good intention is sending mail, humbly request to seek your hand yet you screen men like Exxon Mobil recruitment base on their riches because you are too myopic about life and the certainty of the future.

Take your time and read this story slowly. If you can't pick something tangible from it, you will forever remain a starved hungry lady.

Once bitten, twice shy!

Though she is equally happily married as well to a focused man but can it be ever be compared to how lucky Michelle is today? It would have been worse if she had married a man without ambition. Despite this consolation prize on her path, she remains pained and regretting bitterly that obama never referenced her in his book.

Good morning lalasticlala. This story deserves more audience and should be a lesson to impulsive and hard hearted gold diggers.

All those hype by Osibanjo was all ruse. Forget.
He meant well for Nigeria but some wicked cabals are frustrating his effort to make what he said happen.

Also, I feel relocating the IOC to ND is a good choice but the de merit lies on the unrest activities of militants which will crush their business activities the more.

Even the IOCs don't want to relocate if you ask them. Most of them cited their HQ at Lagos some decades ago due to the environment and good government policy for business to strive

This country sef!

The FG made it a benchmark for children to enroll in primary schools at age 6,secondary and age 12, tertiary institution at age 17/18....If these employers of labour cannot be reasonable with their age requirements, then they should port to Mars.
Even with the rate @ which Jamb frustrate O Level graduates, getting an admission into university @ 17/18 is very difficult at the moment.

It is not like this in overseas where they don't discriminate against age, sex, race, et.al. In their recruitment exercise.

Nigeria form of recruitment is wicked due to the rate of unemployment and little resources to admit the huge populace into higher institution.

TheVictorious:
Lool bro, why did you just conclude it's through connection? Even connection cannot get someone that is unfit a guaranteed placement you know?
I know which is the reason why I stated earlier that they ask for their resumes when there are job openings and screen those who are fit to work with them through their recruitment process.
Education › Re: Nigerian Universities With Most Employable Graduates - Stutern by wristbangle: 2:15pm On May 04, 2017
Standing5:
Stop hating. Did they use connection to influence this rating also.
The connection I mean is in terms of asking for their resumes. After screening and all that, they pick those who scale through but why not give such opportunity to other school graduates.

As for oil sector, the CU graduates work in their administrative/finance dept but engineering dept often comes from UI, UNILAG, Unaab, uniport, Uniben, OAU, Nsukka graduates.
