Tontons ,happy new year to you and all nimc recruitment applicants/followers and some new nimc staff,
i read through your post and what i want to let you accept as the truth is that nimc has tried their very best and it is one of the best recruitment process in Fg MDA that took place last year.
Do you realize that most of those already working there went through the recruitment process ,just like you without knowing anybody or having any oga at the top.
Right from the onset ,they gave room first for purely guys on Merit.
I think you heard that 1,400 were approved for appointment last year and that more 5,000 will be on going this year during last year induction/training of guys.

When you try to make comments ,just try to be realistic as far as we are Nigerians and put yourselves in others shoes ,because some of us complaining may do more ,if given the opportunity.
Do not allow your lady friend to confuse you , because she will not tell you all she pass through to get it but we Nigerians like been religious over everything.

Just rest for now my Brother,thousands of other people that did the interview are also waiting to see the next line of action for more induction/trainings,most especially for the local govt offices .
just have faith that more trainings/inductions will be on this year and nimc mgt only know that time frame,remember that the president gave them up to dec, 2014 to enroll all eligible Nigerians , hence they will call more people to scale up the work.

What is the truth is that NIMC has not called all the approved 1400 names in just 4 batches yet

Mowin: Well, I still beleive that more people will be calld when the local gov. Centres r ready. Nw, I was suprise to see some guys here luking for who would help them check their names after inductions were over. Frm the first day of documentation, the issue of the possibility of people not receiving thier messages has always been mentioned here. I even went the extramile by puting a number here for the benefit of those who may need certain info that cannot be posted here. Only few people who were invited called. One person who has done interview nd was nt invitd calld me. Tday, the guy has long finishd his documentation. Raising dust nw that inductions r over is really supprising to me. On the issue about the number of people employd thus far, I think the entire 1400 slots have been invited. Its just that many were absent. On my batch, about 153 people were invited, about 123 were present. I also heard that inductions were going on at some other venues. The day we went 4 documentation at the headquatrs, induction was ongoing there. That confirmed to me that inductions were done simultaneously at vines hotel nd at HQ frm 21st-23rd of this month. Those who calld me receivd all these info. The way faward nw 4 u guys is to first of all verify if u were actually invited. If not, then u people should still have patience for some time. NIMC also called some of those who were invited. So if u people can call that number that called, it will help. Finally, I will like to advise u guys not just 2 rely on the info u get on Nairaland. U may not get all that is going on about this Nimc recriutment on this forum. So we all need to know that.

I stand to dispute that fact that you said that 1400 people that the DG said was approved by the mgt has been approved.
This cannot be true because NIMC cannot accommodate all the 1400 in the four batches for training, induction and documentation.
So do not say things here that you are not very sure of and kill others faith because you have been called.
You are not in NIMC HCP or HR to say that.

From what those that went for the training posted here , when the DG addressed them and also @ Asaba Summit and made statements concerning the recruitment , saying that about 1400 applicants have been approved for appointment ,those expectant can see that around 700 people have already been trained or schedule to be trained on or before this group ends on 29 October, 2013.
looking at it closely from the first group of entry level enrollment officers of close to 300 people collected their appointment letters, plus additional four groups held between 18-20,21-23,24-26 and 27-29 looking @ an average of 100 people or + per group so far.
Somebody that provides info here even said that there are 7 more groups or batches yet to be called from the approved list.
It could be deduce that close to about 700 people are still on the waiting list for the next batches.
So Guys , let just relax and believe in God , as your name may be there already on the list ,if you pass thorough the second stages of the process. You are only yet to be called waiting for the next batches that will follow up this October group.

First of all , we all need to be grateful to God and the NIMC mgt for using high level Merit consideration in this recruitment process.
If you have been through various govt recruitments, you will agreed with me that this is one of the best in terms of giving all Nigerians a fair chance to join a federal agency.
On the pay issue, most people will collect thier APL in this NIMC ,unless they have immediate better visible options with better pay and job security.
People will collect it believing that in the nearest future, the pay may be reviewed upward.The NIMC Work is a serious work.
Also remember when para military organisations like civil defense started, recruits pay were as low as 7k but today generally,the case is different just like other agencies and it is even difficult to enter there now as a Graduate.
In making our decisions , expected future prospects may be a good consideration here.

They are working on the local govt setup.
let pray that before the years runs out , they may be through to call the LG Officers, because it is not just APL letter, you will need office and structures to work there.
It is not a function of when you were interviewed but on what you applied for, ie lG office .
Which need some level of patience and being prayful.

Guys for the Masters Degree students , Pls i want to ask whether one has to pay for the certificate registration for one can commend registration of courses .

maybe before any fed govt agencies , advertised ,it must have been approved by Govt.
Budgetary proposal and projections for the recruitment must have been made and approved by Govt,
But the release of the funds is always the issue.
Any Fed govt agency will only release appointment letters when the funds have been release or evidence of meeting up with staff welfare is on ground.
I believe NIMC have made their new recruitment projections/proposal and got approval from govt
But what may be delaying it may be funds been release to them.
Even Normal Capital expenditure budget of MDAs are even release bit by bit by govt and never at once due to many competing needs of govt resources.
Patience, concentrating on your current job and finding one average job/biz for now may be what we need for now to keep soul and body together

gfullmoon: If INEC APL landed 2day that means NIMC has not been unneccessarily slow in this their recruitment exercise cos I also applied for INEC & wasn't shortlisted for the exam & I can remember I did that before NIMC. Even INEC induction/Training is still 16-18th Sept which NIMC has partially did for about 300 Applicants. Though two wrongs don't make right lets exercise more patience!

There is no much different between inec recruitment and nimc , Inec started theirs in November while that od nimc was December, so what the different exception of one month. Nimc invited all while inec selected some people to invite for their test
