Guys ,
we just need to exercise some patience as NIMC is taking their time,
I believe that by month end (ie next week) and within first 2 weeks of September
NIMC will certainly get back to us on APL, interview and training issues.
Let be patience with them as they may be putting some things in the right perspective.

Most of us Need to concentrate on our current Jobs and Activities for now as this recruitment process is just a matter of time for the first batch of new staff to start work.
I also think that NIMC may be concentrating on the first Batch employment as per APL, Training and orientation.

Maybe more interviews will come up later.

alfa john: u people should desist from this delusion of grandeur. what concerns the board with employment of officers below the rank of agm or level 15. also u are turning the while thing on its head so the DG will ratify board approval ? who is superior DG or board. u people should cool temper instead of turning logic on its head.
So you do not know that it needs the whole board ratification , are you not aware that the mgt works with a mgt team and a board in place too .
Are you not in Nigeria and a Nigerian

hello ,
I was at the nimc state office in uyo, Akwa Ibom
There main office at the fed Secretariat has shifted their attention to thier enrolment centers.
All there existing staffs no matter your position or rank and all involve in the enrolement of Nigerians .
They have divided themselves into two , some are serving as customer care helping Nigeria to fill form, check thier ID and attend to enquiries
while their IT Staff are involve in the actual enrolment of Nigeria.
There at the state office they have been on with the June since June, 2013
A lot of Nigerians are really coming out for the enrolmment process , knowing the important of it
They are overwhelm with the crowd ,It think from what i saw they still have staff strength of 25-30people.
I believe they head office is aware of the response of Nigerians so far.
He need more hands and believe the head office will act soon for the ongoing recruitment.
Some people said that the rest of the employees may be trained in the State offices and they deploy
I reason that this is very true because the state Office personnels are fully trained and aware of their expectation.
The enrolement process is just filling and providing your deomographic info , then your fingerprint,Id and digital.
signature.
Any IT/Computer conversant enrolement officer will easily know what to do and a few orientation.
I think what may be causing delay could be that they are working on delivery the infrastructure to the state Office in terms of the office equipments, more enrolement Equipment and Centres before they call the new intake for training/work
It is not as tedious as those that went for the training paint it, maybe the exam aspect.
Guys let just have expectations for action soon from the HQ as the project is huge .
i had to get enrol

O'steve:
Tnx. Does it equally apply to state civil service?
No this is not applicable to state civil service, since it is employment within your state.
In most state civil service , after employment, you have to work for 3-5-6 months before they will pay you your accumulative salaries for the 5-6 months. You also need to know that in state civil service , you are mostly entitle to your salary monthly at the entry level ie level 8 without no periodic allowances
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nimc 2012/2013 Interview by write247ng(m):
What you need to understand here, is that after nimc sacked their old staff, they intend to employ up to 1700-2000 people that even covers their new work in the LGAs
My brother the parastatals that you just mentioned, operates in state capitals and some in only some states using it as their zonal offices covering few states .
When they recruit, they recruit between 300-500 people to strengthen their staff strength.
That is not really the same thing with nimc that their scope will cover LGA and they are almost recruiting to cover their over 3000 sacked personnel.

All other people for other positions should be optimistic that soon ,things will start rolling

adetowubo001: Glory be to God for the completion of a wonderful, mind-expanding training exercise. For those who applied for LG enrolment officers, be expectant in the next couple of months when Nimc decides to open its LG offices.
Pls do not blow your trumpet over what you do not know the time frame and allow all to watch nimc trend.
If you have done your training, you can go and rest for now, for others to followup things for thier side.

So they did not give the first batch APL and posting letter,
So no matter the batch you belong ,
they will just train you and you will go home and wait till they call u again for APL and deployment.
Maybe after the training of some batches.
This is still a long process. High unemployment rate in Nigeria can cause any employer do as they wish.
For the salary,i believe after all the stress, nimc should pay something reasonable.
80-100K is reasonable for a starter level 8 graduate to live on for a start.

Remember about 160,000peope applied for this jobs and there are hundreds of thousands of jobless, underemployed or poorly paid graduates in naija today due to the high unemployment situation in Nigeria today.
When anyone get his APL letter , thank God and be grateful to God because some people want to get govt jobs due to especially the high instability in banking jobs and other types of jobs.

Hello
Guys what Naanamee is saying is true
NIMC has not even called the the 1/4 of the people that they need to cover the whole nation.
Those called are just the first groups.
Nimc will still call more people, guys should just take it easy.
There are some lists that is yet to be called yet

calling 94 people in the first group even if it is 100*3 is just a scratch of the people that they need to cover the whole nation
If you calculate 300/36+FCT ,300/37 = That is just 8 enrollment officers per state and it is not even enough for one state office.Nigeria has 150million people.
Guys should just follow things and get themselves engage in some other activities and the sms for more people with time will certainly roll into your phone.

Creamz: I have been the angry, unsatisfied and bitter wife for the last nine years. I’m married to a man who has absolutely no respect for the marriage institution. He has had more girlfriends than I have changed my hair since we got married.
He started cheating on me months after our wedding in 2004 when I was pregnant. And it hasn't stopped ever since. Every other day a different girl, a different situation, a lot of drama. Initially he would lie or try to cover up when I ask him questions or catch him but now he tells me to go to hell and leave the marriage if I was no longer satisfied.
Well, I have four kids and I don't plan to be a single mother in this kind of environment so I'm staying put in my marriage but I'm done being the victim. Yes, I have started cheating on my husband. I am proud to say I have a boyfriend who I have regular, satisfying sex with. And I have absolutely no plans of being the faithful wife ever again. Once this affair ends, I'm starting a new one. There's no going back now. As long as he's cheating on me, I will be cheating on me. I smile a lot these days and it's not just Jesus putting the smile on my face. This is the happiest I have been in at least 8 years. And I also discovered that quite a number of my female friends have been cheating on their husbands for years now. Why didn't anyone give me the memo sooner? Just thought to share my happy story. Xoxo Happy Lagos wife.
You should be ashame for mentioning Jesus in your post.
What you are doing is adultery rather you should pray for your husband. Your friends may do it and get away with it but in your own care if you do not take time , your husband will get to know about it and it will turn into a disaster for you and you may have to problems in your hand including break ,divorce or whatever
i am not wishing you such
the bible says that they sin leads to destruction of life and homes
make amends now my woman

I believe for the past two weeks that there has been no interview ,
NIMC is planning for the positions that has already been interviewed, for their training as they have already said that the interview and training will be in batches.
I believe that within the next two weeks in the months of June before 15 something tangible will come out from the NIMC zone .
We need to be patience , prayerful and when it finally happens , your name will be there becos this is naija.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nimc 2012/2013 Interview by write247ng(m): 10:55am On May 31, 2013
gfullmoon: This wait might even be longer than expected cos the facilities to train about a thousand Applicants or more in terms of basic infrastructure, accommodation, feeding, allowances etc might not be easy thing to come by o,may be that's why NIMC is taking their time. As for their next month i.e frm 2moro kick-off,that dream might no longer be realizable cos the Training according to their claim should last bw 2 to 6 weeks.

So lets zero our mind like Alas said to avoid HBP, b4 June end that cat must surely be left out of the bag..........and Smile shall be our case!
hello ,what you need to know is that when they say 2-6 weeks it means the training will vary depending on the various positions and their need for training.
You know that positions like database management/IT positions need more time for training not like enrolment officers that will just capture registrant demographic data and pick 10 finger prints that even the gsm companies are doing it and i know these are the group that will last for two weeks as their training may not be much like other positions.
For the issue about accommodation, feeding , better keep your own money as i have seen others gone for federal mda training after recruitment , and your feeding and accommodation is your responsibility , till after the training that they will augment the expenses at the end of the exercise
Get that correct and they did not tell you that they will employ up to 1000 enrolment officer.
Let try not to post our personal opinions that are not very objective , except direct info from nimc sources

bros cool dowm , they will certainly call admin/HR officer because they call not run any office without admin/hr people

With the call of customer care officer
I think admin/Hr officers will follows
then state co-ordinator officers/head local govt office may also follow or head local govt may be pending because nimc does not really have structures at the local govt unless they will use local govt secretariat for their enrolment for now.
After all these positions are called within 1-2 weeks
I believe that they will start the training as they have all the needed officers to kick start thier operations at least at the state level.
others call contribute here
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nimc 2012/2013 Interview by write247ng(m): 9:54pm On May 13, 2013
I think NIMC is doing the interview base on the needed areas to kick start the National Identity management scheme programme.
enrollment officers and head State office where called so that they could be trained to kick start the programme at the state level.
The installation and maintenance officers are now called as technical people that will install softwares and programs on pc and maintain the organisation's system to kick start the programme.

Next i Believe that the admin/Hr officers at the state level will be called
The customer care Officers/customer care Managers that will have to manage and attend to public inquiries will follow
state cordination officers and head local govt office follows.
If these positions are called soon , it is very cleared that the training will kick start in June and they may notify applicants in maybe last week of May 2013
Rule out last week of May , 2013
Because 27(children day) and 29 may , 2013 is Democracy day) and as a fed govt agency , they cannot run the training programme within or during those public holidays
Let us all Pray and hope 4 the best in June , 2013

Pls i will advise you to rest your case for now. the issue is that here , it seem you are dealing with mostly fresh or recent graduates that do not really have experience of things.

interview is just another level of selection that some people may not want to accept the truth.

No matter what you say , people will still argue, hence just leave it for now.

gfullmoon: Is like you're missing something here. IN the April interview it was THREE Batches in a day- 7am,11am,2pm made up of 11x6=66. Then x it by 3 = 198.Multiply by the 4 days it lasted=792. So this May interview is likely to follow suit i.e 120 x the number of days it'll last.
Your calculation may be wrong here
three batches of 11 people per batch per day is 11 *3=33 ,
you were laculatin by six on what basics are use using six to do the multiplication
then 33*4days =132

I believe that from ur calculation , there are other positions to be attended to , even though enrolment officers base on their need will be the highest , they will not just budget all there personnel resources just for one position and mind you , if you recall during the application , states where different positions are needed were indicated and not the whole federation as conceived by some people.
I have been to interview where a large no are called for interview and only few get the appointment letter at the end of it.Pray for the best for yourself and others and leave nos as it is nimc mgt issues.
However when the trainings starts, things will be clearer

mind-boggler:
When will they call the legal positions that were advertised o? At the rate the interview is going I wonder when all the candidates for the advertised positions will be interviewed. God am I'm in your hands.
their basic need to kick start the national identity scheme is 4 enrollment officers, that is why they are focus on that for now.
They have already made Nigerians to understand that the employment will be in phases and the rest of the position apart hr/admin officers, customer care are mainly for their head office In Abuja.
So bros be patience for now and get yourself involve in other things
they will get to all positions in subsequent phases.
It seem they want to be through with enrolment and head state office and commence their phase training immediately while they may later called the rest of the positions for their interview.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nimc 2012/2013 Interview by write247ng(m): 9:18pm On May 07, 2013
i think from the flow of the interview of 6 batches with 10 people each , it means that maybe so states were not fully represented in the first batch interview as members of the federal character commission were there and they had to call others from such states by lowering the cut off mark and called them
6 batches with 10m= 60 people for 2 days tommorow will be 120 people being called
i think this is to make up for some states and maybe some people have also been screened out of the first interview.
that is why i always tell people that interviews are selection process
