Governor Hope Uzodinma recently met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to discuss the security situation in the South-East region of Nigeria.

The region has been facing violent attacks and unrest, particularly due to the activities of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Uzodinma, along with other South-East leaders and governors, sought the president’s intervention and additional support from the federal government to restore peace in the region.

He said: “My visit has to do with the security situation in the country.

“If you recall a few days ago, we had a meeting of the leadership of south-east, political and non-political leaders in conjunction with the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

“Among the resolutions from that meeting was to visit Mr President to support and intervene in our resolve in addressing the issue of insecurities.

“The south-eastern part of the country, of course, you are aware has been bedevilled with this high level of security, ranging from banditry, kidnapping activities of unknown gunmen.

“So the leadership in the zone met and agreed that working with the forum of governors from the south-east will come to Mr President to formally request his intervention and additional for gunman

Prophet King revealed the prophecy while speaking recently during a Facebook Live. The programme was monitored by Legit.ng.

His words:

“The Lord showed me a vision that the court will drop all the charges against Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It is what I saw. I saw all the accusations, all the charges nullified. It will not hold, it will not be strong. The evidence they are going to bring will not be concrete.
“The court case is going to be in favour for [sic] Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Let us pray for him. That is the only thing we can do.
“No matter what we do, no matter how angry, painful we are, I want you to please pray for the president of Nigeria.
“He might not be your president, maybe because you didn’t vote for him, but I want you to remove emotions from politics.
“Am I validating evil? No. Am I saying it is good for a person to rig election and be a president? No.”
He continued:

“Maybe we need to keep praying, for the prophecy to change. All I saw was that they said the case in the tribunal was dropped down against Bola Ahmed Tinubu and he was let to rule Nigeria, our country.
“So we keep praying that God is going to help us so that there would be one Nigeria.”

Mr Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) Presidential Candidate in the 2023 election, has condemned the criminal activities and sit-at-home by a faction of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Obi, who is also the former governor of Anambra, made this known in series of tweets on Thursday in Lagos.
Obi said the criminal activities were causing undue hardship on the people, saying that this must be nipped in the bud.
He further lamented the killings in the South-East, Benue and Plateau and called for a more strategic approach to stop the mayhem.
The presidential candidate, therefore, urged critical stakeholders and leaders of traditional, Christian, and Muslim groups to continue pushing for peace among their people in the way and manner they conducted themselves
Obi noted that it was unacceptable that hundreds of innocent lives would continue to be wasted in the country needlessly through communal clashes, bandits, and kidnapping activities.
“The rising insecurity in the country leading to mindless bloodletting, particularly in the North Central zone of the country, and the continued disruption of business and social activities in the South-East are all becoming very worrisome.
“Also disturbing is the continued disruption of business and social activities in the region over the Sit-at-Home directive, purported to be coming from (IPOB) when the body has publicly denied issuing such directive.
“What is going on in the South-East therefore, is essentially a criminal activity that must be tackled with all hands being on deck, security agencies, and the people alike,” he said.
Obi commended South-East governors for their renewed efforts at restoring peace, adding however, that there was need to be more strategic
