Sweetheart, i truly feel you cos i've been in the position before and its terrible. It was heartbreak of 8yrs relationship that pushed me to join Nairaland in 2006 and I cant forget the wonderful people of Nairaland that were with me through that time. take heart cos only time will heal a broken heart. You have to be strong and think of the positive side thou you wont see that now but you can only try.

Please try and surround yourself with friends and family and take good care of youself. You can cry cos that is healthy but dont sit around sulking cos he has moved on, the cow!

God will surely see you through

My decision in 2006 is still the pretty much the same as what I would do now. I would NOT date a crippled man. If I were crippled too, I would NOT expect someone who wasn't attracted to me and my physical state to date me, no matter how much I like him.

Agreed that your reaction is normal but be honest with yourself over one thing, if u were crippled (God forbid!), u'll definitely want to date a perfectly normal looking guy or wont you?

No! Never do that! Its very risky especially the things that happened before you married him. Except you have a crystal clean past. Also when u marry him, be wise about what you tell him cos it might be used against you later in future. You Husband will never tell you everything, you know!

Why should i give him an excuse to beat me up, i can never do that. Moreover am not a physical nor agressive person.

Both were wonderful and i will want them as my parents in the next world (i.e. if there is) though i pray they live longer than they did in this world.
