SMUAG:I ask again who directed "why is Gamora!?", Gunn? Who made Hulk a sissy in Infinity War? Gunn? Is it Gunn that is responsible for the ridiculous portrayals of Thor, Hulk, Wanda, Vision etc? The two films directed by Gunn in the DCEU, do they contain such ridiculous portrayal of character(s)? You haven't answered my question. If you don't have an answer, then don't reply me. If you know me by now, I don't do senseless arguments. Drax just like the above mentioned characters and others, were the handiwork of Kevin Feige, period. All this noise you are making are just unnecessary if you ask me. Don't worry, we are getting there with the new SS characters (if they keep them). The signs are all over the places that the majority of those characters will turn clowns as the story progresses... It's not about being sentimental, it's just the honest truth...In other words, you do not have any reasons to back up your claims other than some delusional assumptions. That's amazing. You can continue with your delusion, it's your life, but fortunately, not everyone will reason that way. If your assumptions even have the tiniest of truth in them, we would have started seeing them in TSS and Peacemaker, but fortunately for us and unfortunately for you, that's not the case. So once again, no facts, just delusional assumptions. Goodluck with your assumptions anyway. But a little advise, to avoid sounding and appearing ridiculous, appeal to reasoning and wait for Gunn's plan to be implemented first before you start your criticisms, okay. #Xavier #DCian |
SMUAG:Who directed "Why Is Gamora?" again? Drax just like Vision, Hulk, Thor, Wanda etc weren't the directors' faults, rather Kevin Feige. It was Kevin that made those characters to be portrayed in such ridiculous manner. Amazingly, the two films Gunn has handled in the DCEU despite being comic, were devoid of such ridiculous portrayal of characters. So to me this your Gunn hate or criticism is just useless, senseless and ridiculous all at once It is stupidity to me to start criticizing Gunn when he hasn't even implemented his DCEU plan yet. It's like criticising an architect when you haven't seen his architectural plan. What's the rationality in that? #Xavier #DCian |
As 2023 announces itself in existence, I'm passionately and genuinely hoping, longing and wishing that it brings to your table above and beyond the best packages it comes with. I wish you sound health, progress, prosperity, success, love, growth, favour, protection, grace, and excellence. I wish you a beautiful and exhilarating 2023. You are and will always be loved. #Xavier #DCian

One of the biggest challenge the DCEU has been facing is the issue of management change. Whenever a new management comes up board, right from Warner Corporation down to DC Films/ Studios, they always want to come up with their own plans. Why is that? It's very simple, the DCEU isn't stable, promising and progressive, and this is because of lack of commitment to the completion of a story arc. When such commitment is absent, it makes the franchise unstable, which results in the new management wanting to fix things and of course this means, eliminating what isn't working, which results in a new plan. But if a management aggressively progresses on the story arc of the franchise, which definitely will results in promises, reception, progress and certain measures of success, change in management won't affect it. Managerial change only affects the franchise if there isn't any success or promises or reception in it, which results in the new management coming up with their own plan. But the reverse is the case if the franchise has the progress, promise and reception. In such scenario, they won't change but rather continue with the already established path. This is why the current managements must be committed in completing their proposed story arc despite the challenges they will or might encounter at the initial point. Story arc completion apart from bringing success to the franchise, also makes the franchise stable and establishes its brand. Peradventure, if there is a change in management under such circumstance, the DCEU won't be affected. And if the change occurs when the story arc is yet to be completed but the studio is passionately progressing with the arc, the DCEU won't be affected due to the stability, reception, progress and certain measures of success the franchise will possess. Who will want to tamper with a working franchise? From the activities of Zaslav, Gunn and Safran, things are pointing to the commitment to the progress and completion of their proposed story arc. Let's watch and see how things turns out, and it begins with the film slates to be released by Gunn in January. #Xavier #DCian |
abduleez1:This is exactly what I have been saying. Choosing to be secretive was the undoing of the previous management. Going with their activities, I knew they were heading towards a Multiversial Crisis Event, but unfortunately majority of the fanbase didn't, and instead of them to make that reveal --- even if it isn't whole--- they chose to keep quiet, and that caused lots of issues. If they had revealed their Multiversial Criss plan, all the "restore the snyderverse", "WB/DC are confuse", "WB/DC are replacing the Trinity with Wonder Woman, Supergirl and Batgirl" and "the studio have no plans" dramas would have been avoided. With James Gunn engaging with the fanbase, trust, interest, optimism in him and his plan by the fanbase will be profuse, and this will go a long way in positively influencing the performance of the universe and movies, not excluding rumors that will be debunked. To me, that's how you run a franchise, especially a delicate one like the DCEU. #Xavier #DCian |

Nickshrapnel:1.) Poor critical, commercial and fanbase reception. 2.) Comparison with MCU. 3.) Expectation of immediate or speedy success or implementation of plans, and the outcries if the reverse is the case, forgetting that * Franchise success is dependent on brand establishment, and brand establishment takes time and consistency. * Franchise plans takes years to be successfully implemented. 4.) The Snyder fans doing their thing of shiting on the films. 5.) Media spreading negative and controversial informations for profit and audience sake. 6.) Zaslav being pressurized by investors due to lengthy time taken for plan implementation and success 7.) And others... But if despite all this, they still passionately and aggressively complete their proposed story arc, the DCEU will definitely meet its success. This is the failure of the previous management. Due to the commercial and critical issues the first set of films in the DCEU encountered, the studio couldn't proceed with their proposed story arcs which resulted in the problems the DCEU is facing today. If the current management will overlook those issues and be more future centric, resulting in the completion of their proposed story arc, the DCEU will be a successful franchise. #Xavier #DCian |
TonySpike:The rebooted DCEU will or might have issues at the beginning which is synonymous with change(s), but if they're committed to completing their proposed story arc, the franchise will be successful. Everything boils down to their commitment and aggression in completing their proposed story arc. And the activities by Zaslav, Gunn and Safran is pointing to that commitment. As you said, let's see how things go. #Xavier #DCian |

We will miss you Cavil, and you always will be our Superman #Xavier #DCian
|
They claim they want a younger actor to play Superman, but Henry Cavil is young enough (39 years) to play Superman for the next ten to twenty years, so I don't really get. Not forgetting his young looks. It's not about age, it's about an actor not being the choice or favorite of the franchise head for reasons known to him. In as much as I'm disappointed, I'm not surprised because James Gunn from the beginning has made it known that decisions will be made and some of this decisions will not be loved by the fanbase, but it's for the franchise's future. I guess this is one of those decisions. I heard Gunn/ Safran plans have been approved, let's see how they go about it. #Xavier #DCian |
IngeniousLeez:I prefer a woman directing WW3, I don't think it will be proper for a man to direct the film. This is a film about a female lead character who is a symbol of hope, power and empowerment for women and young girls, giving such a film to a male director seems off, it's just like giving Black Panther to a white director. It's a movie about a prominent female character, one that celebrates feminine power and heroism, it should be directed by a woman A woman should handle that movie/ franchise. There are so many talented female directors that can do the job. James Mangold can/ should be given another movie to direct. #Xavier #DCian |
Patty Jenkins statement on WW3. One just has to be careful on the false DC information flying around, courtesy of so called medias. In other words, her future with WW franchise is uncertain, well until after the official DCU plan release by Gunn and Safran

Dunno if this is true, but I'm in on that boat ![]() Flashpoint in The Flash can do the job. Yes, there will be some changes no doubt, but it's workability is more than possible.
