FeloniousFelon:You won't sleep well if you see videos of Buddhists using "dialogue" and "restraint' on their fellow human. The Buddhist whom you lick their balls are bloody fanatics. The only difference they have from Islamic terror groups is that they are openly backed by state actors. |
FeloniousFelon:Don't worry the ethnic cleansing you preach is coming for you and everything you hold dear. Continue |
SuperStriker:No it is not! The only problem is the increasing number of dumb Islamophobs. Just like the number of dumb tribalistic bigots are increasing. Things that we didn't take as threat then we are seeing as big problems now because of hate that has been eating deep into us. I don't know the kind of preaching you guys get in your churches nowadays but most tribalists on NL are Christians. Una go pray side by side for church as if all is well only to come on NL after Sunday service to yab una self |
AlanTuringAI:Kwara is worse in what? Can't people practise their religion in peace or does the holiday take anything away from you and your entire family? Kilo man sé awon oponu to kun ori nl yi self. Oga o! |
SuperStriker:The Emirate has been there before your great grandfather was born. So what point are you making? |
andrewza:It is quiet unfortunate that you all have to see that. The last election (2015) really divided Nigeria but the reality is that it ain't as ominous as it seems. Nigeria is just passing through this sad but crucial stage and I know we will come out victorious. At least Nigerians are now challenging the status quo, talking about problems we all pretended never existed and are proffering solutions. Nigeria shall prevail! |
jln115:They will be like "Nigerians need more lecture on democracy, cos their democracy ain't strong enough. There oil, of course, will be temporarily managed by more matured democracies till the spirit of democracy return back to Nigeria." |
Another thread meltdown loading over dedicated and undedicated Russian helicopters. |
So no single person read the post before commenting because if you had you would note the headline does not reflect the content of the post. |
YelloweWest:Even if the person is about to kill you? |
The guy whose head was broken with bottle has been bottling up ever since. |
Odunayaw:Thanks, it always sounds like "tamak" when people pronunce it. |
jakeporeshenko:That is the fact. You won't even survive Termer 2 with an abysmal grade. Only smart chaps graduate from NDA. It has always been like that. |
jakeporeshenko:One unique thing about NDA cadets is that all their students have very high IQs. Most of my friends that are there were always on top of the class when we were in school. In fact one quited university in level 200 with strong First Class result just to join NDA. |
Pushas:Both of you guys and those that liked your comment don't know the meaning of " brain drain". Brain drain simply means the migration of educated or talented people from less economically advanced areas to more economically advanced areas, especially to large cities or richer countries. So how does brain drain relate to the topic? The person you quoted has a slight idea of its meaning because he was referring to the fact that Apple has been copying other phone producers' ideas. But you, you just gbe gbagi ![]() |
bidex111:With the little research I did, I couldn't find anything on the copilot. I don't even know whether he survived the crash or not. In fact, I can't even find his name. Let's just hope that he survived. |
Covert1, how much do they pay you to do what you do on this thread ![]() Don't tell me you type over 500 words of incomprehensible bullshits just for free. ![]() |
Xbee007:You can contribute using this link before NL educated illiterates hijack the thread. https://www.nairaland.com/4048735/3-years-remembrance-wing-commander |
RIP hero And to the Alex Badeh and Arthur Ezes of this world that felt importing helicopters with wrong rotors is what our fine pilots needed to prosecute the war, remember karma doesn't joke with anyone. http://saharareporters.com/2015/03/10/how-jonathan-awarded-500-million-defense-contract-arthur-eze-purchase-refurbished |
Wing Commander Chimda Hedima 1975 - 12/09/2014. Today we remember and celebrate an unsung hero, Wing Commander Chimda Hedima. He was a fine and seasoned combat pilot with wealth of experience till his capture and eventual demise after his jet was downed over enemy line. In the heat of battle, Wing Commander Chimda Hedima and his copilot's aircraft received significant damages from the enemy's antiaircraft guns. The two pilots had three options. Fly the badly damaged cum attrition ridden aircraft back to base. Bail out of it. Or fly the aircraft into the enemy column. The first two options would increase their chances of survival while the last had obvious steep consequences. Alas, they made up their minds, they would fly into the enemy and bail out in the dial minute. As experienced fighter pilots, they know of the steep consequence of their action. They were fully aware of the little margin for survival yet, like the true hero they were they carried out their heroic action. 63 BHTs were sent to their 72 virgins in hell and others sustained injuries. Their heroic deed was unprecedented and unmatched in this present era of human existence. We will have to go back in history to the First and Second World Wars to find similar heroic feat. Russian pilots in WWI were the first to practise Air Ramming against enemy aircrafts when their planes either run out of ammunitions or were badly damaged. The Japanese took it to a whole different and unique level in WWII. They called it Kamakaze. Despite the unconventional nature of this tactic, even the enemy grudgingly agreed it was highly effective. The USS Bunker Hill bombing in 1945 is an unforgettable testimony when two Japanese pilots, Ensign Kiyoshi Ogawa and Lt. Seizō Yasunori piloted their bomb-laden aircraft into US army bunker killing nearly 400 personnels. Those Japanese and Russian heroes were celebrated. Hymns and ballad were composed for them. Women and men, young and old sang of them. Famous landmarks were named after them. Their names were immortalized. Sadly, here in Nigeria not even a brick was named after WC Chimda Hedima. When Boko Haram terrorists released the gory footage of his decapitation, ex-NAF spokesman, Dele Alonge denied ever knowing the fine pilot. "The man shown in the Boko Haram video is not our officer. The picture of a man beheaded in the video is superimposed," he told Associate Press (AP) without elaborating. Every Nigerians understand the importance of downplaying enemy propaganda. Heck, I never watch their propaganda videos myself. Dele Alonge under Alex Badeh's leadership never had to deny him. In war, you win some you lose some, Nigerians understand and emphatise. Badeh sent a wrong message by denying his man. He had days to remedy the disgraceful situation yet he remained obstinate. Perhaps, he later gave the man some behind the scene honorarium but none could be like doing what is right. But this is just by the way, today is not about Badeh and co anyway. Today, ordinary Nigerians will remember him. His heroic feat will remain indelible in our minds. Posterity shall hear and read of his good deeds. As long as our phones and laptops continue to have internet accessibility, our heroes' names shall never fade from the internet of times. Wing Commander Chimda Hedima may your gentle, caring soul rest in perfect peace. You died for something far greater than any of us. You died so every Nigerian could have peace of mind. You died because you believed in us. We will not betray your trust. God bless you true hero! Rest on!! Cc. Lalasticlala, Mynd44.

Odunayaw:Thanks for that will edit that out. |
Bidex111, any addition or subtraction and good input is welcome. Tomorrow, the final copy should enter FP before 10am, if I am unavailable someone should post it. ******** 3 Years Remembrance. As long as our phones and laptops continue to have internet accessibility, our heroes' names shall never fade from the internet of times. Alex Badeh's sin as Chief of Air Staff goes beyond denying his comrade but who are we to judge him? Heck! Who are we not to judge him Tax payer's money were budgeted to him to purchase new fighting equipment to prosecute the Boko Haram war. He along with some corrupt defense contractors had other opinion. Moneys that could buy pristine Alpha jets were used to buy scraps that were not airworthy. Helicopters with wrong rotors that kept falling out of the sky terminating the lives of some of our finest pilots were chosen over new ones (more like wearing flip-flops on suits, kolewerk). AK-47s that kept jamming were imported from China when we could produce better ones in DICON. Such was the callousness of NAF's past leadership. Today is not about them anyway.Wing Commander Chimda Hedima may your gentle, caring soul rest in perfect peace. You died for something far greater than any of us. ActivateKruger:You need to go back and see most of his posts here. You don't go about rubbishing jln's point just to please Nigerians. Do you? You caution him when he deviates with respect. Just go back to his first comment in this page when he was saying "there are some Nigerians in this thread that are not pathetic lun.atic". Does he has to go to such length to disprove Covert incessant ranting? Can't he be civil? Rather ge indirectly insinuated that some Nigerians in this thread are "pathetic lunati.c". I find his statement disrespectful and morally wrong. And this is not his first time of doing such only that many chose to ignore him. |
IbnSultaan:I am already preparing something for him that may be posted on FP. I thought since he was killed on 12/09/14, the remembrance should be tomorrow. What do you think? Cc. Sconp |
lionel4power:You have always been apologetic to our South African friends on this thread. You massage their ego like your life depends on it. You're so unpatriotic sometimes I even wonder what drives you to do such. In case you don't know you're the direct opposite of Covert1 in this thread. By the way, WTF do you mean by "you are not the only mad man in this thread" or what fukkery did you even typed up there ?While I never subscribe to Covert1 incessant boasting of ineffective and nonexistent Nigeria Military prowess, I find it puzzling your anti Nigeria stance. Undoubtedly, SA army, navy and air force are better equipped than us. They have all the cool military toys we need. But they are sister and allied country of Nigeria and invasion only exist in the weirdest dreams of some weirdo. However, fact is Nigeria Army is no sissy either. They will any potential invader, no matter how sophisticated, a run for their money. Fact! |
JuneOctober:Sis, it is just a temporary momentary fit. It will die down like it has always had. |
PureMe01:If you are gonna hate on every Yoruba because they often don't agree with your POV, pls make it all encompassing. No division btw Yoruba race, just love. ![]() |
SHTFguy:99% of Kwarans don't even speak Hausa except those that travelled outside to learn it. It is only in the warped mind of our eastern brothers that Kwara belongs to the Sokoto caliphate. King Zulu Gambari himself speaks Yoruba, he delivers sermons in Ilorin central mosque in Yoruba. Majority of his wives are Yoruba. One of my distant aunt was married to him. His children are Yoruba. Fulani and Yoruba are able to coexist peacefully for hundreds in Kwara without any issue. I myself I enjoy the beautiful culture mix. The king has a big stable a stone throw to my house. I remember clearly as kids how we go there to watch horses and their riders perform awesome stunts. I never hated them and they never hated me. They allow us take pics on their horses while grownups were offered guided rides. So it surprises me when I see some demented piglets who have never been to Kwara call Kwarans slaves. Are we suppose to hate them because they are not us? I pray lord open your eyes. #proudlyafonja. None of your relatives can measure up to him, fact! |
priceaction:If you are sure of what you are saying, create a counter thread. |
shekauvsbuhari:Lol, is that what you tell yourself anytime you can't access Muslim threads to denigrate and spew thrash? We were all on NL before Seun introduced that clause and we all bore witness to how Muslim's threads are always battered and attacked from mostly Christians who feel their fellow human are subhuman just because they answer to different God. |
snoopylinus:Sorry if my statement came out offensive. There is no one that isn't tired of the stagnant nature of this nation, except corrupt individuals that benefits from proceeds of corruption. I am not against any one/tribe saying they want to leave. If restructuring fails the only result will be division. No one should continue its strangling hold on the progress of the country. All the country we started this race together are light years ahead of us. Not against Igbo agitation for a nation. But the Igbo has to stop their growing hatred for other people that are culturally or religiously different from them. |
