Our National Parks are in derelict and they aren't fetching as much as they should be if properly managed. Partly conceding them to private individuals should bring the necessary the necessary remedy to this problem. It is the only choice since our government are notorious horrible manager of public properties. |

Mr. Buhari's trip to the US is at the invitation of President Donald Trump, with a Nigerian Presidency source telling our correspondent that Mr. Trump extended the invitation last February, shortly after his inauguration.

TheLogicalMind: One by one let me call you out on your lies my stupid friend:
No 1 The people of Myanmar are Buddhist and not Christians. Your stupidity never allwed you to conduct a background check into Myanmar. You just stupidly leapt to the conclusion that Christians were somehow involved.
No 2 The anti Balaka came into existence after muslims staged a coup and overthrew the government of francois bosise, a Christian. The new islamic government tried to use brute force to implement shariah law in a country with an 80% Christian population. Of course ther was always going to be resistance to such evil.
Please learn the facts before you jump to conclusions. Clearly you're the gullible type who is easily mislead because of ignorance. Say whatever you want to justify your hatred for your fellow human because they are different from you. But please don't you ever quote me again!!! |

bidex111: PRESS RELEASE NAF BOMBARDMENT NEUTRALISES HUNDREDS OF BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS, CONVEYS NEMA OFFICIALS TO MAKURDI
1. On 1 September 2017, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) neutralized hundreds of Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) in Garin Maloma area in Sambisa Forest. A NAF Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (iSR) platform had earlier sighted the BHTs who were gathered under some trees. Consequently, a combination of NAF fighter aircraft namely the F7-Ni, Alpha Jet and L-39 ZA aircraft was detailed to carry out air interdiction on the BHT gathering. The Alpha Jet aircraft acquired and attacked the target with bombs, neutralising many of the BHTs. Thereafter, the F-Ni aircraft immediately conducted a bomb attack, which resulted in the death of more BHTs. The L-39ZA aircraft then followed through by strafing fleeing terrorists with rockets, killing most of them in the process. After the attacks, a few BHT survivors were seen scampering from the location.
2. Meanwhile, the NAF has conveyed the Director General of the National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) and other NEMA officials to Makurdi to give effect to the Presidential directive to assist flood victims in Makurdi. The NAF Beechcraft KingAir aircraft was used to convey the team.

TheLogicalMind:
You are the dimwit my friend. You remind me of some Yoruba idiots who travelled to Borno state for a church event because they believed the lies that they were told about the safety of Borno. They were told that Boko Haram are a minority and they have nothing to worry about. They were eventually found with their throats slit. Whenever I read comments like yours I can only wish that you experience muslims barbarism for yourself. So because of what Boko Haram terrorists are doing we should hate on every Muslims? Hmmm? Bro, I pray you get freed from hatred before it consumes you whole. Christians are currently cannibalising on Muslims in CAR, DRC and Myanmar. Should Muslims hate all Christians for that. You know I was just telling someone the other day that blacks, especially Africans, are more racists and tribalists than whites and worst still, we don't know or believe or we just pretend we can't be racists and tribalists. He disagreed!!! "Blacks can't be racist," he said. Maybe if I show him your demented comment he will have a rethink that truly dimwitted African racists truly exist. |

vizkiz: Happy birthday to your handsome kid. Obviously got the looks from you.
About the dual religion in your marriage, I'll have to give it to your straight up. Your marriage is heading for the rock.
It is better either of you switch to whichever religion preferable but a marriage with different "motivation" is heading for the Rock.
Don't be stupìd, we don't serve the same God. I have been to mosques and I have seen Muslims says shìt about Christians and our belief.
We don't preach war and we are not barbaric.
We don't practice polygamy and we have nothing like 7 virgins when we die.
Most of all, we don't need to swear an Oat before commenting on Christian topics
Call me all you want but I ain't myopic. Check my signature for your replies. What dimwitted tribalists cum racists like you forget is that we were all human before religion, color and tribe divided us. He is a Yoruba man, and the fact is Yorubas do not really care about individual differences as long as it will not jeopardize their relationship. |

Odunayaw: On Channels news @ 10 something was said about the NPF help crash in 2012 that claimed the lives of all onboard by the Accident Investigation Board. The verdict was that the pilots didn't have a license/weren't type rated on the Bells. I just shook my head in dismay He later added that the pilots license had expired while the other pilot has no prior preparation/training to handle such scenario. And there I was shaking my head and imagining how on earth one's expired pilot's license makes one a less better pilot. It is very dissapointing and unbelievable that it took them five years to conclude that it was human error not some malfunctions that caused the crash. |

NAF, our 200 Paveway guided bombs will pave the way for victory killing your entire air force inside your airport from 20km away.
List how many countries in Africa have Paveway bomb for us to see now, simple question. Guy why don't you wait till you get those Paveway before making all this unsubstantiated comments. The last time I checked Nigeria is not planning to invade any country. |

This is an awesome deal, and i'm very happy with it. Blame that on the BBC not me. I was only worried that we may pay exorbitant price for a warplane with 'very basic configuration.' I'm now relieve the BBC defence analyst was just butthurt, he couldn't believe we are getting the real deal |

Franco93: This set of people have the most awkward believe.
They don't carry out blood transfusion no matter the condition - believing that bible condemns it They believe they're the only people that will inherit the earth when everyone might have died. They believe the world will end after Jehovah might have taken 144,000 of his righteous ones from their church They don't believe in Christmas celebration and so many other believes that I find awkward.
However, the culprit of such awful act should be brought to book. What does a human gain in killing another who's virtually unknown to you. Indeed, we have lost our humanity. Nobody was killed, they only passed out after inhaling toxic fumes possibly carbon monoxide. |

AnonyNymous: Stop this clickbait nonsense, its really irritating. Is Nairaland a blog? Or a FORUM? Is the main aim of Nairaland just traffic, or do they care about interactive discussion?? They just reminded Nigerians the new process they've set to enter their country through France (which means, its not something that just happened) instead of issuing visa directly and you guys are here with your sensational headline. Its annoying, really. I saw this sh*t on Naij.com yesterday thanks to UC browser but I wasn't surprised because that's the trash I'm used to from them. But Nairaland, c'mon, you can do better than this. Naij.com is the worst place to source for genuine, authentic and unbias news. I vowed never to open their website again after myriads of fake news which I notified them severally to correct yet they refused. |

bidexiii: Wing Commander Chimda Hedima 1975 - 2014.
On 11/09/14, a company of NA soldiers attempted to overrun a Boko Haram position in Borno. Due to the low altitude, the plane suffered significant damage from the terrorists' gun fire. Wing Commander Hedima and his partner realized that they were going to crash.
Instead of hurriedly parachuting to safety within Nigerian controlled territory, they chose to embark on a mission to destroy as many terrorists and their weapons as possible. They parachuted out at the last minute but not before ensuring their plane slammed into a column of terrorists in which 63 Boko Haram members were killed as a result of their bravery.
Wing Commander Hedima was captured. On 12/09/14, he was killed by the Boko Haram.
He chose Nigeria, he chose all of us. We cannot forget him. Please share his story. His name should be known by everyone.
Rest In Peace Commander, we are grateful.
May you find eternal peace in the bosom of the almighty God.
