So, a country as big as Nigeria cannot even develop an appropriate policy for administering transportation in this country without world bank guidelines?. If the world bank know better about transport administration in Nigeria, why not just employ whiteman as our minister of transportation?

So all the months spent in the job there is no clear cut ideas be on how to improve housing. For the minster to tell us "they will look at Jakande's housing policy" before an idea will come out.

Fashola ought to know better since he was governor of Lagos State, so does it mean he had no clear cut idea of Jakande housing system before.

I once supported this project but after studying the direction cities around the world are going, I changed my mind.
Imagine what cities like London and New York would look like if they had been catering for cars going into Manhattan or Central London.
In actual fact, you hardly see residents default to driving because the governments actively discourage it, thereby proactively reducing the need to continously expand infrastructure and diverting such to education wealth and other social services.

Guy you are on point, I have bring reading you comments on expanding rather than putting pressure on one lga.
Points to support the bigger picture that those that plan the bridge didn't ser.

1. They are not looking to expand other areas of Lagos, which would have made Lagos an all round business hub

2. Developing all other areas of Lagos would reduce pressure on a particular road which increases lifespan of the road and reduce costs of maintenance.

3. it will make oth areas of Lagos to be properly planned with good road network

4. People wi n longer wish to migration back to their states or other states since everywhere of Lagos is a business hub with easy movement and less traffic in the future.
*i see other states in t future creating conducive environment for investors in their state their providing jobs. People moving back to their states / other states since you can still get good job with no traffic or less-traffic and stress, low accommodation cost etc.

Imagine no people/industries are moving to Ogun gradually...

In lagos and abuja almost 99% of filling stations sell at 86.50. Please tell me if its a crime for residents of a city to buy fue; at normal price and why are you making it look as if they are queuing for a retail bonanza. It is their right.

OK 65% sell at official price. The queue is always unbearable.
