But even we the citizens are not any different, we are a citizen against humanity

The main problem is religion .... Islam is even worst as a religion . The religion is inconsequential, evil and misleading.
When looked at those innocent children in the video involved in the protest then I asked ...
What did these children know they were doing? Nothing but They've been brainwashed. shocked

To that their devilish religious leader called zakzaky, the man deserved what he gets.
Nigeria is ruled by Constitution not by any religious book or quran, why forming a parallel government, why living the life of impunity , why misleading your followers, why should the followers also mislead themselves to the extent of throwing stones at soldiers.

We should be careful of how we politicize every issue just because of election. Even if anybody is the president today , Shiite muslisms can do wosrt and provoke the security to misbehave .

And to US , they're hypocrite. I can not remember the number of innocent citizens killed by security men in the US for doing nothing. Police in US shot at citizens anyhow but they won't bring it to the media.

seriously bro, so this is all you could process, after seeing the way a Nigerian Citizen was killed by the people paid (taxation) by the citizens to protect them.

If it was the other divide of same religion that was protesting and was killed, won't the president order from Investigation on the killings and restore the trust of the protesters within 24hrs
I don't care which religion / section / tribe or who was protesting, tomorrow it could be you.

Oyinbo that manufactured motorbikes attached mirrors but we Nigerians removed them, and turn the head lamps up to the sky.

They reduce the lenght of the steering/handle so they can easily maneuver between cars in traffic(i asked one of them) .

They also raise the seat high and attach mp3 players with speaker.

They fix siren and annoying horns.

These guys will never sit straight on their bikes, they bend, looking back at their exhaust as they fire on high speed.

Some even sit on their fuel tanks despite carrying no one.

Some wearing slippers will hold it with the tip of their toes, then press their pedal with nothing.

They overtake from left, right, centre, anytime and anywhere.

If they hit your car, they dont have money. They kneel/postrate begging if you're a man.

If they hit a woman's car, 100 bikes will gather in 10seconds, attacking/blaming the woman. But some women are crazy.

Okada....Hmmmmmm

No more Headgears (before it was enforced in Lagos)

in Alausa it's orderly but we wait under the canopy outside first, someone with mic do give instructions either for data capturing, new application etc before you can enter inside.

Why is there no public fixed fee from Federal govt.?
Nobody knows the fix fee for custom duties, Passport, etc but when the amount is small they make is public like "yellow fever" card is written online for all to see, so no one will jack up the amount for you in the name of helping you.
This corruption from Federal govt. has to stop too .

These team is a product of fate. They won a court case against ...I think Kenya a few days or hours to the competition and appeared here via that judgement but greatly unprepared because they didn't know the outcome of their appeal will be this quick and positive....it's going to be a huge lesson. I want to believe they will go back to the drawing board and the next time we see them in this same competition, it will be a different ball game and perhaps a different team...much better team
no wonder...
yes they will learn from it

Out of respect for the families of our gallant troops, the NOKs are first notified before any form of public information so as to avoid exacerbating the grief family members would bear, were they to discover such from unofficial sources.

what rubbish
The Army will keep mute and people's father, brothers, cousin, sons are being used as pawns.
No national respect + refusing to let their family know.

When you pay bokoharam millions (directly sponsoring them) and still send the army (low pay, withheld bonus + low moral) after them. is that not foolishness

Never mind how silly and crude you sound considering intelligence experts have highly sophisticated face recognition software that would put this ludicrous conspiracy to bed in seconds if indeed Jubrin has replaced Buhari. Today, developed nation have automatic check-out system at airports where a biometric booth will compare pictures of the face on your passport with a picture the booth takes of you in real time using sophisticated technology accurate to a very high percentage. This system, which can be used remotely, would expose Jubrin easily as an impersonator.

the system is never perfect, people still beat the system but for a president of a nation (it seems impossible sha)

1. My concern is why tag the event the president didn't attend (all pix posted here of the outdoor event - no sight of PMB), the media team used it as the same event he gave the speech, which is not (from evidence provided here from foreign clips not ipod) - Why the lies?

2. Why is there no video of the indoor president speech, even video provide here are audio?
(it's easy for PMB media crew to get videos of this his speech even from foreign media or online if it was the same event, so why beating around the bush?

more data draining added to its features again.
I know whatsapp ads will be compulsory except you pay for premium.
This was the reason the original owners left some months ago because it was against the contract signed.

Telegram security - far better than whatsapp
you don't need to give out your personal number to add some on telegram (username solves it), that's what I loved about BBM then.
Sending larger files + telegram acts like a cloud system you save chats, links, apps, files in your telegram (cloud) and download anytime / device you like later

The funny part of this debate is that Nigerian women will always shout on how cooking, taking care of children cleaning and sweeping are very difficult jobs until it is time to get a househelp then they will get an underaged small girl to do these same roles and even when they get an adult they will pay below minimum wage for the same roles they say they should be worshiped for.

1000%

They will even stop paying and start mistreating the girl.

I believe in sharing all the duties in the house but for financial duties, whosoever earns more should pay more...

under bridge to Iyana Iba = dead zone.... traffic like hours

lakowe - Ajah since last week is like 4hrs journey because of that pit, yes it's no longer pothole.
The rain + bad roads is reducing the lifespan of people living in Lagos.

Amuwo Odofin
+ Oriade LGA is something else
Festac (just few roads are still ok)
but without repairs will become bad too
maza maza + First gate = no good roads
old Ojo down to Alajika = no good road
Alakija -CBN Estate - front of Navy Town = dead zone
anywhere around / inside Satellite Town = major route / Street = waterlogged = Dead zones.

From areas under Mile2 to Badagry is not part of Lagos govt. when it comes to just good roads/repairs but the are taxed, billed, levies etc

A source within the government enforcement team said the affected banks defaulted in the payment of the annual environmental development levy.

but the banks will still be the one to take care of their environment e.g. drainage repairs, street clean up, even beautification of their surrounding premises.
So what's the tax used for...

Just like Lagos landlords / landladies contribute to sandfill, put drainage, buy poles, Wire extension, buy / repair transformer, carry out environmental even interlock the streets and security.
Monthly / yearly you will see FG and LG coming to collect all sort of tax/levies

Why Nigeria, Why Nigeria?

Touts and constituted authority will not allow you to rest because there are so many ambiguities in collecting relevant documents that are done online stress free in most parts of the world

Bro the gov can easily fight these corrupt practices with the use of Internet. All we have to do is upload the relevant documents and pay online then wait for approval or manual verification if need be but because it will be a fix fee and eliminate bribery, it will not be done.
Imagine immigration, custom, son, nafdac, police, LGA fines/levy being online, fixed amount + the government gets the revenue directly but we are told it can't be done while banks, telecoms, e-commerce are all working, even jamb and NYSC has joined online integration

Nigeria gov is not ready to diversify from OIL handout yet...
so no proactive business friendly policies / implementation yet.

We keep searching for foreign investment without addressing the major issues that discourage interest in same.

We want substantial growth in SMEs but we're not prepared to create an enabling environment especially for younger people who have very little take off grant.

We complicate issues for those who struggle to thrive against all odds. The reality is that it's not just about the government, it's about the people. Those who schedule regular 'health checks' for the purpose of extortion are citizens like us.

We need to do a rethink and work diligently for a better business environment.

if you know how much some of these agencies like son, nafdac make you part money anytime they come visiting or refusing / delaying to perform their duties...
I know how some industries pay their levys and are of high standard when it comes to Quality Control but if you don't settle these agencies minus their dues, they will delay or keep your file/inspection pending after you have being given the directive by them to start production.

Politics / Re: Killing Small Businesses Softly - Simeon Kolawole by Ximonak: 5:03pm On Aug 23, 2018
These Agencies with different price tags will choke both your capital and profit in the name of working for government.
example:
Shop tenement yearly Lagos State,
LGA lockup shoe levy - yearly (imagine)
Security levy
Union levy
LGA development due yearly
+

If your business is inside a Market, levies like:
Environmental levy weekly (environmental cleanup still done by yourself every Thursday; failure to clean = locked shop / fine)
market development levy monthly
Iyaloja upkeep monthly (500 X the number of rented shops in the market)
You want to renovate the shop(rented / owned) e.g the roof needs changing - 10k
or stop work
The LGA wants to fix the drainage or build fence/gate for the market, you will be levied as little as 1k - 5k
Iyaloja wants to do sallah, her daughter wants to marry etc 2k upward per shop
You bring your paid goods to the market, you settle touts in charge of the market, if not you can't offload.

Places like Trade Fair are mind bogging because
You pay to bring in your containers,
Your customer pays to take the bought goods out of it, even when he used a private car, if the touts in front of that police station notice it, you must pay

After all these various corrupted and unnecessary practises, how much will be the cost of goods?
If the cost is too high - low patronage - bad
If unchanged - low profit / cutting corners in quality of goods - bad

if you did not read anything, read this.

Many people will not see these various points

We’ve been here (Canaanland) since 1999 and we have never had power outage or water shortage. The main players are Nigerians, the builders are Nigerians
Meaning our government just don't want any sector in Nigeria to work, because they have all the resources but corruption will make them ignore it.

There is no building here that any foreign expert took part in. There is no foreign company’s presence here, including the (Faith) tabernacle. Some of the revered foreign companies here in Nigeria are technicians in Germany, and they are all political contractors, not that they have something special to offer....

....Nigerians have unusual capacity to match any expertise in the world in any field they are involved in. Most of us go to school in foreign lands and we beat them, is it that when they get here, they become smarter? It’s just for the authorities at the various levels to believe that we cannot develop ourselves seeking foreign aides for everything. If we want to do anything, we must give it to people from foreign countries so that those who award the contract can have a deal and share the money and at the end of the day, they are still poorer than poverty because any money stolen never enhances a man’s value

He just described why Nigeria will always be backward for now.
