SportsRe: Victor Osimhen Should Be Suspended From The National Team..see Why (opinion) by xin5: 6:28am On Jun 16, 2024
Born2winnx:
We all remember the bicycle kick saga he had with Victor Ikpeba a few years ago during the World Cup, when he made a simple analysis and Oshihem reacted to it by trolling him online on his social media accounts severally, going as far as calling him "AGBAYA" on his IG... no action was taken against him by the NFF to this day.Things would have escalated, but for the ex-Super Eagle star maturity, he let it slide with no further response. Nigerians didn't really take it as a big offense at the time. In fact, many people were in support of oshihem as the STAR BOY that he is. We never knew the ego we were taming.

During the last AFCON, when Iwobi and the Super Eagles were criticised, they still made it to the finals, although they lost. During the Super Eagles arrival from the tournament, we saw how calm they were. A video circulated online of a lady trying to get Oshihem to make a statement as normal but he bluntly refused, saying 'FREE ME, JHOR...' as he walked past. While other Super Eagle players comported themselves and acted professionally one could see the high level of arrogance and annoyance, ego oozing from him the way he said it. As I watched, I realised from that moment that this young man is far from being humble, despite still being young in the game.

Yet again yesterday's video showed him going live on IG, disrespecting George Finidi, a legend simply because he saw an unverified news report from some blogs with no video evidence. Good God, he even went further to disrespect all Nigerians as a whole and Super Eagles supporters, saying 'OGUN should kill everyone.' And you're telling me the NFF will keep quiet when they review the video? What will other foreign nationals say when they see players acting this way to the country? Come on, there's a limit to what we can take. This is a huge disrespect to the country's flag, and if no action is taken, more issues like this will arise. There's an adage that says, no matter how tall an okro plant is, it can never be bigger than its owner. I hate nonsense, and a man should be held accountable for his actions, knowingly or unknowingly. He's still our star boy and we love him but with these few points of mine, I want to urge the NFF to move in, investigate this, and take action swiftly to avoid more global embarrassment to our nation like this.

#BORN2WIN that warri boy.

Wren other countries dey pamper their legends, maradona, pele, and rest. We de disgrace our own.
Why Africans just be like this self.

How many times maradona criticise messi openly? Did Messi not handled it with class by winning the world cup.

As a bachelor I Just strolled out of my street to go get bean because the last basket I bought March has finished.

Madam give me beans..

She replied how many cups I say 4 hoping I might cook 2 and use the remaining later this week..if I haven't gone to market then.

I paid gave her 1k hoping to get change... But to my surprise she was asking for additional 600.

Meaning 1 cup was #400.

I stood there and didn't know when I burst out laugh. A Cold laugh
I couldn't cry, I laughed because I was shocked beyond words.

Before the year ends death toll might rise in this country due to starvation. And no one is really saying something about this outrightly.
Why can't we call for help from ecowas and un intervention now that some of us are still alive.

If I a bachelor financialy okay is complaining this way. what about those with multitude of mouths to feed.
I can't just help to imagine what's going on in some home's right now.

I sincerely feel sorry for any lady who marries you. This thread betrays your level of reasoning and shows how insecure, immature , unreasonable and unstable you are.

Your choice of wording and structure shows you lack any integrity of character, hence see the low level your mind went to.

You even don't have respect for her or her family hence you had to drag her elder brother into your nonsense.

I feel you are a danger to that young lady and her family.

A girl I am currently seeing is telling me the cost of her bride price is #120 that once I pay that..20 naira will even be handed back to me because she is not for sale. I asked her if that's all for the traditional marriage.. she said from there if we want to do big ceremony it's our choice. I think I am about to be scammed into marriage, something I might regret in the long run.. and I still wonder why her elder brother is still single (in his 40s) if marriage is cheap over there.

I wouldn't want a case whereby after doing that I will be presented an unexpected list of things to provide.

She's from the south.
I want confirmation if this is true

As a 47yr old I still patronise prostitutes which I don't see a problem with. I have No kid, no serious relationship. The problem is my mother complaining here and there for me to get married if I don't see my age.
My mother has complained to the extend she's embarrassed on my behalf even when I am well established.
I know I can't help myself, it's just an addiction I can't stop.
I find it so hard to chyke a girl, talk more calling every now and then.. having meaniless discussions and drama all the time.. pestering for sex something I can achieve with just a phone chat with my connect and they will send pictures of multiple variables I can pick from..30k shortime.

The longest relationship have ever had was in 2008 I think 7months.
Ever since I was young I focused on pay as you go and this has been eating my finances on a steady which I normally don't see as anything because I am doing quite well for myself.
But the pressure to have kids it's getting on me so bad that I wish I can just get a prostitute and impregnate her so that my mother can rest.

Music/RadioRe: Top 5 Nigeria Musicians Who Penetrated The American Music Industry by xin5: 12:24pm On Oct 15, 2023
KiNg0G:
We all know that it's a dream of every musician to be heard globally, and once you get into the American industry, you're almost there.

There were those who attempted, those who failed, and those who are still trying today, with the hope of being heard one day.

I am presenting you with the top 5 countdown Nigerian musicians who have successfully penetrated the American industry and achieved global recognition.

Once again I repeat top 5
So whoever you think should be here might be in my top 50.. thank you.

5) WIZKID

we all know when wizkid started 2009/2010 signed by banky w we always knew he was a star. I mean the freestyle he did on Tim Westwood TV still remains one of the best ever done by an African artist till date. he went on to feature drake, chris brown and even wrote for some of them. wizkid penetrated deep I must say for selling 02 arena several times with undying love from fans home and abroad.

4) DAVIDO

Being known is one thing, but being consistent is another. The American-born Nigerian singer doesn't slack at all, even without a Grammy award. He is known globally because of his hard work and consistency. He did numerous features with america artist and friends with them too. I believe the last time one of them came to nigeria, davido sent is fleet of cars to go pick him. Mention davido overseas in the uk, USA, almost all music lovers knows the name.

3) BURNA BOY
one of the most controversial musician from Nigeria can't be over looked, burnaboy is notably known abroad not just for is grammy AWARDbut as AFRICA GIANT. he's energetic looks, energetic performance gives him much stance. He has done several samples of america musicians songs that even blew way more than the original songs and one can't help to say how unique he is despite the attacks he gets from all angles people calling him the king of samples...(but last I checked, I heard a lil durk gave him an invite to remix his song "all my life" which is currently out)

2) FELA ANIKULAPO KUTI

if I don't mention the legend himself, the king of afrobeat, the pioneer himself. What will be my gain? Fela was known during the time all over the globe and I wonder how he did it. When they were hardly any promotions, radio stations, tv sets and the rest unlike now that they is streaming apps all over. Social media site and the rest. Yes fela is number 2 because he create the way for all the afro beats today in african. Rest on king.

1) REMA

I have never seen an african musician who rose to global recognition as fast as rema. This was a kid who literally started in 2018 freestyling from his parent vehicle then upload it on the internet. Viola he was quickly picked by don jazzy signed to mavin records, changed his genre from hip-hop to afro party pattern and HERE WE GO like fabrizio. Baby calm down! Calm down. A song nigeria thought were nursery's rhymes was accepted all over the world even as far as indian, china, meanwhile in nigeria it barely even had good time play. The remix he did with selena gomez and the relationship rumours helped to spice up everything and I must say rema is one of the most global afrobeat musician as at now.

FamilyRe: I Sell My Properties Whenever I Go Broke, Is It Spirtual? by xin5: 5:03pm On Sep 21, 2023
KiNg0G:
I am not here for financial aid but help from people who have overcome such problems.

I can't help but think, when I get married with a wife and kids to feed, is this how I am going to continue? How will my family respect me.

This is the 3rd time of me replacing my tv set in the last 2years. Whenever I run out of money, I search for anything valuable to sell in my home, with the mindset that I will replace it. Which I normally do but sometimes it takes time because i know i might sell it again within some weeks. This is getting on me deeply with the number of cartons of phones and receipts from same equipments I no longer have.
My generator is another thing to talk about that my neighbors and landlord are starting to gossip because I can't explain changing of generator to and fro when its always placed outside.

I know I need help but don't know how to go about this.
I am not here for financial assistance as claimed by some peoples in anyway please, some of us seek for ways to stop some certain things when we know we are falling off tracks.

I am on my way to lg office to replace my TV for the third time and the thought of it warrants this post.
Something is definitely wrong no cap

People here will immediately tell you to ignore the family, which, in the right sense, is just the fact. However, I'm super-curious to know why you felt a need to consult them with kola nut and drinks, as you said, to let them know you're about to sell the land. Something tells me you're not painting the full picture.
that's the full picture.
I only did that for future reference for them to know the new occupant, since they are the owner of the layout and the families are still within the environment.
So they won't disturb him when he decides to develop

They have sensed it long time ago as I'm smelling it now oozing from my phone🥺🙄🙄

Nigerians are wicked people in general, so you have to be wicked and deadly when dealing with them!!!

That land is 100% your land the day you paid for it, how can you then go and meet the former owners because you want to sell it??🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

Well you have shown them how weak you're already so they're already capitazing on it to defraud you 😆😆

You have no option than to either develop it as they have said, give them the percentage or go to court⚠️
you are a kid who is probably typing this under your parents roof. Emoji and all gave you out.

Have you registered these documents with the government? If not, their signatures will be required for title to transfer and it will not come free. If the buyer signs and collects the documents you have (unregistered), then he/she will have to reengage the family to perfect the title at the Registry.

Has the title been registered? This should be the consideration.
Not with the government

Tell them they've sold the land to you it's yours.(it would have had a better effect if you had told them immediately )You can give them a token if you wish as a gift

Also location rural or urban will help pple answer you well

PropertiesThe Families Who Sold Land To Me Wants Their Cut. by xin5(op): 11:38am On Sep 06, 2023
Please is that how it's been done? I bought a land early 2018 and now I feel like selling out. The families who sold it to me said they are entitled for their own percentage from the money the buyer is offering. Please I need to know if that's how it's done. I only went to inform them I would be handling the piece of land to a new owner and thought kola nut and palm wine would be it, since they also sold to several people there and also have some available I thought I should let them know for future reference... instead they are asking how much I am selling and wants to know every details of it.

Meanwhile the deeds that's about to be prepared would be in my name and that of the buyer, what consigns the family?

I had to tell them that's not possible it's my own land I bought from them I am selling, he went further and said it's either they buy it back from with same amount I bought 2018 or I give them their percentage from the appreciating amount or I develop and let matter rest.

Foreign AffairsAre Africans Becoming Ungrateful? (opinion) by xin5(op):
I think we are forgetting that the French, USA, and UK countries that we are driving out
of Africans have had a great impact on our lives. They gave us independence, but we still blame them for our underdevelopment, which is not their fault and yet if they decide to intervene in our politics and remove bad leadership, we will be the ones to complain... During the time of epidemic, suffering, and famine, they have always shown their support for Africa in one way or another. Now ask yourself this question: can raw uranium, crude oil, and gold be cooked for African consumption? Do we even have the machinery to process these materials by ourselves? African's needs White more than they need us, they have been supporting us from day one unlike the ARABS who have their own mineral resources and don't even care if they is a continent call African or sufferings going on African.

I am not against coups here and there if it means removing bad leadership. But why take it out on these white folks who have tried to make amends for what their ancestors did to us?

If there is a war outbreak today, I think the French, USA, and United Kingdom will be the first to intervene. They know us well. they have been part of us..They've assisted us for a long time despite our cultural differences we are the ones who failed to emulate them, why are Africans sounding ungrateful these days?

HOW many millions of Dollars, pounds, and euros are being spent on Africa Soil yearly? It's not this white folks fault we have bad leadership but driving them out of AFRICAN JUST LIKE THAT SHOWS HOW UNGRATEFUL WE ARE.

Now we want to turn to Russia, China, and North Korea, countries that don't give a hint if Africa falls to the ground because they have their own resources. during Africans suffering hardly any contributions from them. This pains me so much that when I think about it I weep for Africa.

BECAUSE ITS NOT ALWAYS ABOUT MINERAL RESOURCES....ITS ABOUT.. WHOSE OUR GUY? when we AFRICANS were down.

Let's not forget

We becoming ungrateful
Handling things in an ungrateful way and manner and I know it will definitely backfire to we AFRICANS IN THE LONG RUN.

This is an humble opinion coming from an African to all Africans that have projected same mentality not Just Nigeria

THANK YOU
