MrMcJay: If soldiers come into a shrine, destroy the shrine and the gods are either unable to prevent the invasion or avenge the destruction of the shrine, such god is not worthy of worship.
I think you should worship the soldiers who are more powerful than the gods and could destroy them. If unknown gun men enters a church and massacre worshipers and the church God did nothing then such God should not be worshiped rather church goers should worship the gunmen, vice versa to the Muslim. |

alfredo4u: Hello pals,
This has kept me wondering if going to church every sundays is mandatory or not.
Although serving God is a thing of the heart. If one decides to do his own service at home, is there any consequences?
Some of my friends hardly attend church but prefer doing their service in orphanage home where they use their tight and offerings to help the children.
What is your take on this?
For me that have a wife and two kids...worship can take place in my home.
The service have started already...
Prayer point 1: I want to thank God for my two adorable children.....Precious and Princewill Alfred...love you guys so much......pls you kids should take it easy in scattering and breaking things in the house....... Here lies the answer to your question! Acts 7:48 "However, the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands. As the prophet says: Acts 17:24 "The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. Worship him in church, in your house all the same though with a little bit diffrence. At home you save your hard earned money at church thise who are rich(pastor/con-men) will take it from you and add to theirs to buy private jet. |

Oracle16: Please, someone should explain to me. Are the Northerners (Hausa/Fulani), cursed? Even the so called Arewa Youths are old men. Where are their real youths? Why are they not even talking about fighting Boko Haram instead of fighting for people's properties? Why do they celebrate a shameless leader by drinking from the gutter? Why is the North the poorest part of the world?
You forgot to add their photo Why are the old men representing the Arewa Youths not doing anything about all these? I think they need the grace of shame. At least to know what is shameful and avoid it. Please, someone explain to me. Why are they afraid of restructuring and can commit suicide when the issue of total breakup comes up? Can't they see the real change coming? Can't they prepare for it and be ready to feed themselves this time? Please, I need explanation, alot of my foreign friends have been asking these questions too.

michelz: Not yet through with the article, but I feel the greatest mistake ever made by Igbo as an ethnicity was not trying to unite all Igbos and relatives under the umbrella of "Igbo", and lack of proper historical documentation.
The real curse of disunity amonge brothers in Africa today is the invasion of the Europeans and the division of the people along religious line and countries. then they lived in harmony and there was no need of such umbrella unity as history was been passed orally from generation to generation and every one know where he or she belonged. 1 Like |

michelz: OP,this is about the most logical and Objective historical accounts of the Igbos I've read. You'll wonder why there are Igbo-mina,Ijebu-ode and the rest of them in SWestern lexicon and yet the SW people don't have enough logical explanation for that. Even the Binis have in their historical account of their rulers called Ogisos ( I'm not too sure of the title now) who they don't know exactly their origin. And instructively, the Igbos claim those guys are of Igbo origin. An elderly person once told me that Igbos once inhabited some of these places that are presently outside of SE region, and to mark that they planted some trees like Iroko which can still be seen today. Also, when you look at the attributes of the different people that make up the regions in present day Nigeria, you'll see similarities among them in terms of physic and character which differ distinctly with others. What I'm saying is that, most people in present day Nigeria are related. Infact, you can say to a reasonable extent that they're brothers and sisters. So when next you pick up that your phone ready to fight your e-battle,remember that you might be fighting your brother; more related ro you than someone from your Village. That is it. 1 Like |

Sapiosexuality: Nice story. My only problem with history is the nature of man. Humans have shown to lie for selfish reasons. Propaganda is now a tool amongst every regions of the world.
In Nigeria alone, you've TVC, Nations and Punch lying for the west; Daily Trust, Liberty Radio, lying for the north; while Authority and The Sun lie for the east, etc. Bunch of liars confusing everyone and sowing discord everywhere.
And it has caused more harm than good. 1 Like |
