Its a case of the forces of demand and supply. Get your facts right, oil prices increased this week with the artificial scarcity ( supply cut) policy of OPEC.

And no one is saying depend solely on oil, diversifying does not mean DO NOT GET INCOME FROM OIL it means getting maximum income from all available potential sources of revenue.
Economist would understand the meaning of UNDEREMPLOYMENT of resources and production below capacity as well as the dangers that come with it.

There is no backing for this from the scripture. Its all from your head I suppose. Stoning, animal sacrifices, woman unclean during mestruation,forbidding food, levitical priesthood are also spiritual things.

All this been said, back to the main issue, considering the fact that Nigeria is not America and we have our peculiar issues. Oil would continue to be our problem. Where we have the south south still feeling that they are being cheated there would still be agitations. Until resource control is approved by the northern dominated legislative, people will still have reason to cry foul. This can only happen if everyone has oil. You would see, that if oil is truly found in the north and even in larger quantity than the south, immediately all the agitations of the South would be settled. Including resource control and probably separation. For me this is good for Nigeria cos I as well as every well meaning Nigerian is tired of all these tension in the country.

However @ransomed I would say that @tonytony has a point. When scripture is being discussed it doesn't matter if the followers or the victims are not complaining.
