Interview done ...it was superb. The chinko-german lady wasn't around. So i was interviewed by some1 else. That pretty babe wey come Goethe two weeks ago to talk abt visa processing nd all.

As we dey waka go her office, as a sharp guy..i said "good to see u again ma'am" nd she asked where we met b4. I told her at the Goethe institute nd she said "Oh! People like u really want to study in Germany". As we enter her office, she tell me make i sit down as she sharply type some things on are computer. I was very relaxed. Nd some minutes later, she burst out d first question. What is the name of your school and what program do u wanna study? I yarn her sharply. All d questions she asked was exactly dsame questions we all know.

I answered all her questions perfectly. She asked abt d city my school is located, oh boi, come see as dis oyinbo dey smile..me wey don sabi Freiburg pass my hometown now sef. I answered d question nd she no even bother to ask me what i know about Germany.
Also, when she asked about why i want to study the program, i yarn her stuffs so tey she skipped d next question wc is relationship btw my MSc nd BSc.

Again, dis lady ask me say make i mention some countries bordering Germany.. D style i use answer d question bad gan. I told her Germany is bordered by Denmark to d North, Poland nd Czech republic to d east, Austria nd Switzerland to d south, France nd Luxembourg to d south-west, Belgium nd Netherlands to d north-west. Dis babe(VO) was impressed ehn.. She said u really know alot. She no bother to ask me to mention d German state bcoz she don knw say i go yarn her d states with their capitals .

Where i con turn her head na when she ask me why i choose to study in Germany nd not other countries. God bless Eke40seven oo. Na his format i download for d babe. She jes dey nod her head like say i dey play Reekado Banks song for her

She asked about my sponsor too. She con change face small when she dey ask abt my sponsor...i don make up my mind say i no go lie. I tell her say na my mama dey sponsor me nd told her my mum business too.

Na so we end d interview oo. She tell me say make visa processing take 4-6weeks. Say make i go fund my account as soon as d deutsch bank send my account details. Na so she talk say make she see me off oo..i no bliv am. I was surprised tho. We jes dey chat dey go. As we reach d door downstairs, na so i yarn her one correct german sentence "Haben Sie ein schönes Tag" she smiled nd replied "gleichfalls Ihnen".

As i con dey comot d embassy, i jes dey remember say she no ask me some questions wey i don get sure answers for. E pain me say she no ask oo, Lol .

My advice: prepare very well nd don't ever get tired of reading ur planned interview answers. Read it like 2times a day nd thank me later.

I applied for MSc Environmental Science at the university too. I got a response from the department yesterday. I think it depends on the department maybe the programme committee for ur course are yet to decide their applicants admission. You will surely hear frm them anytime soon.

Eke! I know you encourage this but this is just too much, its obvious that this person must have applied for 7 difft courses that he most likely would not qualify for all .

See these things we are doing is affecting the image of this country, what if all of them accept and u didn't even show up dis year, probably because Buhari gives u an appointment or blocked account tries to ginger ur swagg.

Brothers, it simply shows that we do not do a lot of research on our course of study, city etc.

Na dis kind attitude they make most schools join UNi- assist.
See how dis guy use his applications they block every where, simply because u dey avoid uni -assist money. This is greed in a subtle way. hope u have blocked account money ?

Guys ! Let's be modest in our actions, act wisely.

Don't be selfish, let's think of other people behind. If we block the way, how will others get admission.

As for this nelly guy! Supposing all the schools gives him admission, what it means is that he has denied 6 Nigerians n opportunity simply because its cheap to apply to a non-unassit school, then using Nipost makes it a sweet dream.


We have made efforts to route out ways to help our fellow nigerians. Pls less all be modest.

If you do your research well, there is no need apply for millions of schools, you will just know schools that are likely to offer u admission. Let's stop making a mockery of the process.

My advice, do your research well, know what u want to study (u can't study every thing), select 3 or 4 schools nd in a worst case scenario 5. Do your app well. That's all.

And when you make your final choice, please write back to the other schools nicely, telling them you that you appreciate their offer but you won't be joining them this time. Pls do this.

Just imagine after your application they didn't contact you to tell u if u where accepted or not! How will u feel ?

Even sometimes, if they don't notify us that they have received our apps, I notice a lot of people come here to lament.

The reason is ; so that they can give ur space to someone else who is on the waiting list. And that will put Nigerians in good light. Its wise to notify a person you have contract with that you are no longer interested , than keeping the person hanging.

Trust me, if we continue this way, every app from naija will be treated with dignity.

For all those that intend enrolling in Goethe Institute, they already began classes for this session since 20th April and registration ends by May 8th. Also there are no morning classes available anymore. Just afternoon and evening classes. So hurry yl u can. Thanks

For the mail stuff, my referees sent dias through normal yahoo nd gmail account and the reference were accepted.
NB: I was not given admision into MUN despite having a Second Class Upper in my undergraduate

I'll advice you go for a 1yr advance diploma program ...den proceed with your masters after you done.

Abt your second question, i had same issue with the university of New brunswick. The uni. i graduated from rarely use their school mail.
I had to check for others schools with less strict measures. i'll advice you check other schools and compare their requirements.

I have read all necessary information from the school website and I wish to put in my application for winter semester admission. Please, I have some questions to ask and i will really appreciate all your response.

1. I graduated with a second class lower in BIOCHEMISTRY (CGPA 2.77) from a state university here in Nigeria. Do you think I can be admitted for the master's program with my CGPA?

2. It was stated on the school website that academic reference letter must be sent via official staffs university email address. I'm sure my alma mata dont have official email for the lecturers. Is there any other i can go about the reference letter issh?

I have a friend in that department in Oldenburg who went to make enquiries on behalf of someone with a very high GP (4.12), the person is also here and the report was that for the summer semester, there is no admission but he will be considered for the next semester automatically without a need to reapply.

The summer admission is very restricted and it is confirmed already. So, if you have gotten nothing at this point then your wait may be futile. The best you can get is an automatic consideration for the winter admission

I dont know anything about MSc geology in LMU and about d exam, am only talking about MSc biochemistry. So, MSc geology might not request for an entrance exam as a prerequisite to gain admission.

@hollaytan... The LMU exam issh discouraged me too about d school buh if u think u can meet up with Nov 15 deadline, u can try Mannheim university of applied sciences. The skul offers MSc in Biotechnology. Am sure there ar still some skuls dat there deadline date is still far a lil bit. Use Daad nd am 100% sure u will get all u need.

LMU will accept a proficiency letter from your school stating dat d medium of instruction nd communication is english BUT LMU insist dat all applicants (both local & international) must write an entrance exam and there is no waiver for the exam. #No Exam, No admission#. Mind you, the exam takes place ONLY in Germany.

Which school is Cottegne university?? Check maybe the spelling is not correct. Neva heard about d school and couldnt find itbon google.

NIPost is cheap, sweet and nice. But it takse 10-14 working days for your mail to get to Germany from Nigeria.
