EniHolar:I would like to as you a few questions: Have you done any kind of business before? The school you currently teach in....how many students do they have in total within the same campus/premises? Can you find out their break time spending habits? What sells most in the tuck shop? What is the price range of the fastest selling products How many of these schools do you have in the immediate neighbourhood? Are you in Osogbo? On the average, how many private and public schools do you have in that vicinity? If you can provide the answers to the above questions you many just be able to chart a business oath for your self that will not require 1 Million Naira initially but may yield 5% net profit for you weekly. Please note that it is not 'a walk in the park' and you will need to handle and manage your affairs by yourself. Nobody will collect money from you apart from the company you choose to deal with. Finally, in case you choose not to come back here with answers...........whatever you opt for please do not start out with 1 Million Naira. You are apparently very green in business and no offence meant. Adopt baby steps and do not be under any pressure whatsoever. My personal rule of thumb is to start with what you can afford to lose without jumping over the railings on Third mainland bridge. |
NaughtyBrainiac:I was waiting to see the above points. Please DO NOT drop your money for anyone else. Your best bet form my perspective is to go into trade in one for or another. The best for me is FMCG. Identify a market segment you wish to start with. Do trials with as little as 500k and then determine the viability of that particular product before taking a plunge. My neighbour does distributorship for small companies and he has great stories to tell. He was telling me of a new company making some products for Children and that the demand is super. You could explore this option. For me, I prefer to look for an appealing product that just about everybody can patronize and then invest along that line. Fortunately, I have discovered something that I requires little capital infusion but the response is superb. It however requires very hard work if you don't have the right adequate takeoff capital. Its a beautiful product, affordable and will be very hot in demand. Finally, I admonish you to be very careful and circumspect in your search. Conduct trials with small amounts before investing heavily. Wishing you the best in your search. |

standout5:I wanted to recommend you for a role in a company in Abeokuta but was prompted to go through your posts. I just did a check vide your posts and something is not particularly straight. Kindly let us know your true gender first of all. I usually advise that people must be very careful about even posts that may even appear insignificant. My position is that for the truly earnest young graduate you can get 'small' jobs that help you keep body and soul together while you are gunning for the life improving jobs that will eventually materialize. I have helped not a few people here to get something that helps them keep their hope alive and and liquid enough to buy airtime and data. Your moniker indicates female but you reek male? Am I right or wrong please? |
dboY1123:Send a CV to xpresseeve@gmail.com Ensure we get it today. |
We are still receiving indications of interest. |
Good evening! |
Good afternoon. |
TheManofTomorrow:If you send me an email stating your capabilities and experience while also stating your location and capabilities, I probably can help you find something to do. I make no promises but we can do this together.....if you are serious. |
Iceking1:I have read your post many times and I am also happy with the responses I have read here. Some of them are very genuine, heartfelt and germane. I will make my own contribution here. First of all your expectation is too small. I am sure a hard nosed negotiation with a good and solid commercial bank will yield you much more from a fixed deposit. I am sure that even you yourself know that much. Like most other budding entrepreneurs, you probably want to invest your money yourself and draw from the excitement of seeing the business grow under your guidance and with your direct involvement and perhaps management. Of course you would also prefer to be circumspect and careful so that rather than lose your capital it would rather increase. In going straight to the point, I would suggest that your foray into business should be slow, steady and deliberate. Your best bet would be investing in the area that you already know very well...perhaps the area that yielded the tidy sum of 2.2 Million. But where you decide to schange your thrust for whatever reason then you have to adopt a slow and careful entrance approach. First of all you should use only a fraction of that money to test the waters. There is no busines that you could not try out with a small amount of capital. My suggestion is that you consider the Fast Moving Consumer Goods segment of the economy and invest there as a trader. Look for items that are consumed daily. Invest lightly and in small tranches. If you can stoop to sell cheap but fast moving products to Mallam kiosks in your neighbourhood as a starting point then you are in business. You can then expand to convenience stores, small supermarkets and other outlets. You will be amazed at your daily turnover and profit after being consistent for a while. the rewards are indisputable. As schools are about to resume in September, sit down and plan well. Identify what you can sell to school tuck-shops and supply them. Just imagine what you can sell to students and get 50.00 from them on a daily basis. Truly you are on your way to quiet profitability. Items you can consider will include but not limited to eggs, drinks, bread (my all time favourite), biscuits, snacks etc. I hope this helps you start out on your path to becoming a consumate businessman/woman. Good luck! |
Good day to you all! |
Please if you are in any other location that is close to the listed areas, you may also apply. |

Gentlelife50:Thanks! I had asked him this question and he responded by saying that he no longer had an android phone and as such he couldn't access his page but that I could use his name to search via my app. I smell a rat in the explanations. Both of them are tendering the same responses. |
Please how can one verify a claim by an applicant that he has been an Uber driver previously as stated in his CV. His driving is subpar and his Knowledge of Lagos roads below expectation. I am saddled with employing this person for a company and I am not convinced that he has actually been an Uber/Bolt operator previously? Is there any document (or process) I can use to validate this claim? |
Itznekky:Please revisit the phone number you posted. |
A few questions I would like to ask? Has the infrastructural overhaul of the last few years borne any fruit yet? Have new companies birthed in Ebonyi? Is the Ebonyi youth open to seeking greener pastures outside the Ebonyi territorial borders? |

I have visited Ebonyi state a number of times. I have been to the major towns of Abakaliki and Afikpo. In the course of my moving around I have interacted with a number of young people there. You can feel the palpable fear in their voices as they express their hopelessness in the bleak employment atmosphere that prevails in that geographical expression. This experience leads me to the big question which is how do Ebonyi graduates manage their after school experience? Kindly recount your experience here as an unemployed/underemployed Ebonyi graduate. Please note that this is no pity party as the intention is to share experiences with a view to helping each other recalibrate, reposition and refocus for the future. |
