Reserve Judgement is a legal term not too many people are familiar with, below is all you need to know about this term.

Q : What does it mean that the court has reserved its judgment?
A : When a court reserves the judgment, it means the matter has been kept in abeyance for a while. This is done after all
the parties have completed their arguments and all the written submissions have been filed in the court.

Q: Why do judges reserve a judgment?
A : The judges reserve a judgment so they can write a judgment. One must understand that a judgment is not a single page order of few lines, the judgment contains the summery of arguments of
both the parties, the law of the land, previous judgments on the issue, conclusion and the reasons for arriving on that conclusion. Judges need time to refresh in their memory, the arguments of
each party, do research by reading previous judgments and judgments on similar issues
in other countries and finally think about the reasons for arriving on a particular conclusion. This entire excersise is very laborious and time consuming.

Q : What is the normal timeframe in which a judgment should ideally be delivered?
A : There is no fixed timeframe for the judges to write judgments but six months is considered to be a reasonable time for passing a judgment. If a judge keeps a
judgment reserved for more than six months, any of the party can mention to the Chief Justice about this.

Q : What happens to a reserved judgment if the judge retires?
A : If anything like this happens, the new bench will hear the matter afreash. A judge can not sign/pronounce a judgment after
he retires.

Q : Is it necessary for a judge to reserve judgment in every case?
A : No! Its not at all necessary for a judge to reserved judgment in all the cases. Generally the court reserved judgments in cases of
extreme public importance, cases which will have greater impact on the polity of Nigeria, cases in whcih the courts are laying down
some new law etc. In many cases, judges deliver the same day the arguments are complete.

Now this story was not made up nor a hearsay, i witnessed this in person.

OK I advice you tomorrow or any other time to visit any northern state and blaspheme against God or His prophets. What kind of stupidity do you have to insult someones faith just because you don't believe it.

If you like ignore the advice and go to any mosque and insult the prophet and see whether you will live to tell the story...or even an Ogun/Sango shrine and insult the gods and see whether the worshippers will let you go scort free...even some Christians that don't understand the Lord they serve will attack anyone that comes to a Church to speak against Jesus.
A word is enough for the wise!
Sir are you saying that in blasphemy murder finds justification?
PoliticsRe: Gideon Akalaka 2.0 by Xtopherprince(m): 7:22pm On Jun 05, 2016
FriendChoice:
Very simple. Here is what Islam says

" Abuse not those to whom they pray, apart from
God, or they will abuse God in revenge without
knowledge. So We have decked out fair to every
nation their deeds; then to their Lord they shall
return, and He will tell them what they have
been doing."
. [Quran - 6:108]

I repeat Islam never insult other faith. You're the ones blaspheming Islam just to cause trouble. Islam respect your religion and respect is reciprocal. In this country I have seen where Christians guard Muslims to perform their prayer and in returned the Muslim also guard them. They live in absolute peace. And that what is Islam is. But when you decide to behave the other way round by insulting someones faith, a person who respect your religion and your prophet Jesus peace be upon him, then you should bear the consequences of your actions. That is why the news is always the same. I have never see any news that a Muslim blaspheme other religion.

PoliticsThe History Of Fuel Subsidy In Nigeria By Remi Idowu by Xtopherprince(op): 11:36am On May 14, 2016
“And as minister of petroleum, I signed the contract for Warri Refinery, for Kaduna Refinery, for more than 20 depots all over the country, for laying of pipelines, more than 3200 kilometres and I couldn’t recall Nigeria borrowing a kobo for those projects. And then, by the time I became head of state, because I went to War College in the United States before the military handed over to the Second Republic and came back in 1980 and then, there was coup at the end of 1983. And that time, you can verify from Professor Tam David-West who was Minister of Petroleum Resources. We were exporting 100,000 barrels per day of refined products because we had four refineries then”. GMB
