madam, please give up. you are begining to sound rather silly .kiss honestly, you are no match for me and if you want me to tear you to shreds bring it on kiss
I have heard. Waiting to tear someone to shreds, waiting to buy market. I don hear. Unfortunately, arguing market woman style is not my style. No need to continue with what is obviously a fruitless discussion as you are determined to argue with insults than with plain facts. It is my mentions that keep bringing me back to this thread. However, you can go on, no longer interested in trading words. Being sanctimonious is the new black.

So, let's get back to the purpose of the thread. kiss

I understand what you mean but there are better ways of passing across the message than painting CS to be the devil's option. I have gone through CS and was very depressed when my doctor told me that i am not a good candidate for VBAC. I still try to be upbeat about it.

But for someone to come here and castigate someone else for considering a CS for what appears to be cosmetic reasons but be willing to carry out a cosmetic procedure on a child for something that the doctor says is totally unnecessary is mind boggling. I can as well post pictures, videos and news clips of kids that have had traumatic experiences to drive home my point. But that can discourage people that their kids actually need such procedures but they will become too scared to let their kids go through it with the attendant consequences.
HealthRe: Pregnancy Are You Pregnant Or Going Through A High Risk Pregnancy,,lets Talk by XX01(f):
Sometimes this thread can be so tasking. Those of us that have no choice but to go for CS have to read through various horror stories of traumatic CS births and how babies will be scarred and whatever. This is on a pregnancy thread. I now understand why my MIL keeps saying that i should stop reading about other people's BS that it might cause me to be afraid.

After reading the past couple of pages, i have been very afraid. Only that i hold on to the word of God that says that I will give birth like the Hebrew women, there shall be no loss in my household, I am an overcomer. All these stories can make someone run away from a hospital if the doctor insists that CS is the only option. For what? To win an argument.

I will take a brief hiatus from this thread and probably return to share my BS (if at all). Wish everyone the best.

Congrats Herikk066.

Should have stuck to Ethiopian Airlines then. What I heard then was that it was a really crappy airline.

Good day everyone . I want to find out if I use a doctor not affliated to the hospt I intend using , does that mean the doc won't be present at the hospital on delivery day?
I don't think it's possible. Yet to hear of anyone that did that. Will the hospital admit you there without a doctor?

Yes I know.
So they are only targeting clients in one of the most expensive areas in Nigeria abi. I hear.
That's why it's business.

I tire for this country! Giving freebies to those who can afford them in manifolds. What about those living at Ajegunle, Oyingbo, Oshodi, Mafoluku et all?
It's a business collaboration between private companies and has nothing to do with government. They probably have a business reason for that. Probably targeting them as clientele. With this kind of free WiFi, only light Internet use will be permitted so you can perform e-banking transactions.

I understand that. However, the visa on arrival is for business visas, that one is a shortcut. You would have to tip people to do it for you and no DIY. If you log in to the website, it will ask you to answer some questions. You have to answer "yes" to all of them before you can proceed. The questions include, "are you a CEO of a company?" and some other questions like that.

For my PTA waka, I can partially rest now. Finally got 4k from Union bank but it was insider waka. They are not selling to people. Got at 330.5. If I had gone the day they got from CBN, it would have been 312. Remains DH.

A friend got from Diamond bank on Friday before CBN banned them. It was 4k at 322. But she was able to get because she had a Diamond Exclusive account. It's one of the perks of the account.

Coupled with the dollars I already have, I should be good to go.

Use abokifx dot com

It's what I use to get daily rates on most banks.

My people, my people!!!! 2nd missionary starting successfully!

Concerning this visa on arrival, I stopped by at the 'visa on arrival immigration office' at abuja and enquired. They said it is for Business Investors Only!
Congrats on your successful start. The rest of the journey will be a breeze.

Concerning that visa on arrival, i had pointed out that on the website it states that it is for business investors only that's why there is no DIY on it. I guess the passport agent on this thread was trying to sell his market.

Any info on PTA, good pple of NL
9 banks have been banned by CBN from taking part in forex transactions so they may not sell PTA.

UBA, FCMB, Heritage, Keystone, Diamond, Sterling, Skye, Fidelity, First Bank.
You can try others like Access, StanChart (select branches), etc.

My dear, be very careful with standard chatered bank card. I paid for my daughter's bilirubin test using this card, the charge at the hospital was $350. When I went to get my zero balance, the finance lady informed me that I had a refund of $138 that was being processed. The rate I was charged when I paid was N275 to $1.

When the refund came, guess how much $138 amounted to............................... N17,321. I have gone to my branch here in PH to inform them that I will be reporting them to CBN.

Their story is that they use the official rate and charge 40% of the transaction as commision. I paid for the test on 28th of May and was refunded on the 20th of June.

If you must use this card, be sure that your transaction goes through the first time or be prepared to lose 40% of the value of your transaction.
All banks do this. I have had this issue with Diamond and GTbank. They will credit your account at official rate. The rule of thumb for foreign transactions is that if you may return an item, don't use your card.

Hepatitis B is given at birth. Depending on the state, the next set of immunizations is given at 2 months and most mamas are already back in Nigeria 4-6 weeks after baby's delivery. That's why you don't see cost of immunizations on the forum. If you are staying that long (2 months) you can budget 200-300 dollars depending on the paediatrician.
Thanks.
