It depends. I don't know what the current online rates are but some banks are cheaper than black market rates whilst some like WEMA bank are more expensive than black market rate. Usually, our card rates are higher than what they show on the website. Some banks like DIamond bank were at 350 to a dollar as at last 2 weeks whilst First Bank and Wema were over N420 to a dollar.

For your dollar card, it depends on the rate you used to get the dollars and it's replacement cost. Then you can compare and know which is cheaper.

Totally different rate. It was charged at my bank's rate. I used GTbank then.

In other news, I couldn't sleep for up to 5 hrs today. Woke up around 1am and was replaying all I have done during the day in my head. Please what's happening to me? Is this part of the package.

It was same with me. I will wake up by 1am and be staring at the ceiling till i have to get up and start preparing for the day. After one week, i started getting up and starting my day earlier or will read a book. By the time i had done it for 3 days, the sleep gradually returned. But till now, it still happens in flashes.

FCMB is giving PTA at 320 to a dollar.

Diamond exclusive is also giving PTA.

For those who used BA, do they insist on your doctor's fit to fly or you can bring that of Port Health?

Hi dear, cold water was what was discussed during my last ANC the midwife said it's a misconception cold water wouldn't do u or the baby anything.
But I had a church member that just gave birth she said she drank cold water a lot that immediately she gave birth the kind of cold that greeted her was no joke. She said it was as if she was deepen into a freezer all her teeth were shaking.

I don't think they are related. A lot of women experience shaking and shivering uncontrollably after birth. It is usually predominant in women that had an epidural or a spinal. Some say it is as a result of shift in hormones, some say it is as a result of the shock of giving birth. It usually wears off after a while. Definitely not due to drinking cold water.

They did. Every single time. 6 times in total. They couldn't find a vein in my right hand so every time was from the same hand, i am sure from the exact place. The place was very swollen by the time they were done.

Can you use a wheelchair? You need your fit to fly and then you can book wheelchair. Get an apartment that has catered services such as cook, driver etc. You can still do it but with more expense and more uncomfortable. You can try to upgrade your seat to a premium seat. You might want to consider CS.

@ Sixx, you do the PCV at your 20 weeks check up when you do your blood work. Subsequent ones depends on the policy of your hospital.

Thanks Iomoge2, Liftedhands, Besea, Alphahandmaiden and others who chipped in. I redid the test in a lab today and it was 24. Meaning that the 10.4 was not accurate but still 24 is too low. BEcause i am scheduled to have a CS, the doctor told me that if i don't build up my blood i might have to have a blood transfusion.

I was initally on Fesolate which is one a day but it was making me stool so i took it haphardly. Now, i have been placed on another one that should be taken twice a day. I have cut out all other multivitamins and take just the precribed ones in case there is any other medicine that is inhibiting the absorbtion of iron. I am just tired of the whole thing.

I practically live on Ugwu and green okro these days. I will include the Anara leaves. God will give me the strenght to overcome it.

i usually feed him early around 7:30, then i give him a warm bath after 8 he is already asleep.

we sleep together and the room is well ventilated .

Don't stop this. It is perfect for his age. When he wakes in the night, you can even give him plenty water for him to go back to sleep.

I feel it's just part of normal symptoms as d Preg I advancing.Got cerclage in too, so am praying everything keeps going on well till it is removed. Wishing all prego mamas out there a safe delivery and grace to carry baby to full term as we look forward to d edd.

Don't give him snacks that he likes. If not, he will look forward to his midnight snack. Give him cereal that is not very sweet or unsweetened crackers with water.

I am not fine at all. I am kind of depressed. At 20 weeks, I did bloodwork and for the first time ever, my PCV was 26. I was extremely shocked. I have always had a PCV of 35/36. How?

Then I did a follow up test on Friday and my PCV has dropped to 10.4. I eat Ugu raw, I take lettuce, I eat unripe plantain 2 times a week. I also take my iron supplements once in a while. What am I doing wrong? People are telling me that I would need a blood infusion soon. Not feeling anaemic nor dizzy.

Just read about your fall. Hope your feeling better. My EDD is 20th.
