Even with CS, you can use it. Make sure the brand you buy does not end right at the surgery site. It should either be high up or cover the site completely. Also, you can't start early. You have to wait at least 6 weeks.

I have that issue too. I stopped going for walks at 26weeks. I had to run to scan the next day to make sure everything was ok. I can't even go to a shopping mall without wanting to collapse just from walking around. I would advise that you look for another form of exercise. In my first pregnancy, I even swam till the last week. Was much stronger then.

Don't know if they will give you different types but you can use the one that they give to test if she will like it. If she reacts to it, they will change it.

I know but I didn't want to ignite the earlier controversy. They don't accept international patients that's why you need the card. So they won't respond to her long distance calls but will attend to her in person.

1. Most US hospitals give you baby diapers upon birth. You might want to buy from size 2 for long term use if you are buying cartons to take home. There are different types of huggies like you have pampers but I can't remember them.

2. I liked huggies sensitive wipes as well as Johnsons.

3. Most hospitals also give formula freebies so you might want to hold off buying. (Don't tell them you want to breastfeed). When baby is born, you can test which brand she will prefer before you bulk buy. But some brands are more expensive than others.

4. Already answered.

5. Buy an infant rear facing car seat first and then buy a convertible one later. They offer more support and is safer for an infant. Some buy travel systems that also include a buggy. From birth and rear facing should be your watchwords.

2) I already did and got JPS but whenever I call they keep transferring my calls.

JPS doesn't take international patients. You have to be a Tarrant county resident. There's Baylor Scott & White in Carrollton.

I felt the same intense pressure on my rectum. I jumped at first cos of the discomfort then I later realized what just happened and relaxed. Both times I experienced loose stools afterwards, like from since morning I've visited the loo 4 times though I'm not purging.
Not everyone gets to experience the dropping /engaging so don't fret if you don't experience it.

Is that one way of knowing the baby has engaged? I have experienced this now for 1 and a half days now. I am 34 weeks 5 days. Should I be worried? In fact, I am worried. Will go to the hospital tomorrow.

I don't know about the first two but avoid that Gold cross. Their nurses act like they are in a govt hospital and their Admin processes are too poor. I used them as my kid's hospital and I saw shege until I moved him to Lifeline.

I don't know for pregnant women but the hospital no be am. The gynae that treated me for my birth control made me hate that hospital.

Others might have good reviews but I don't.

I took TT injection yesterday (2nd dose was 10yrs ago, so I'm starting afresh), and now my arm is so heavy, to straighten it na wahala. is it normal or is it because I didn't massage it after d injection? I don't rem feeling this way with the others though it was a very long time ago.

It's normal. You should not massage the site after the injection. Mine lasts for about a week plus. So painful. My son summarised it by saying that it feels like they injected deep into his bone (a separate incident).

The multi airline is still run by BA. They will check you in straight to the last stop. Book BA to Dallas on the phone and pay in GTB. Then book a local airline to elpaso.

Calling the customer care and booking over the phone and paying with Naira cash at GTB makes a lot of sense. I just paid today for a flight of 845 dollars plus 30 dollars service charge for booking over the phone, making it a total of 875 dollars, but I paid a total of 281,775.76 at GTB, this means that they charged only 322 naira per dollar. I think its good.

Why dont u book direct from BA website and pay naira equivalent at any GTB bank at the rate of 314naira per1 dollar as at today BA rate. And they will issue the ticket and sent to your Email.instead of using those Ticketing agents or Using your mastercard. Thats how i normally purchase my wife and kids BA tickets.

No ma'am, skineal and funbact A are basically the same. Antibacterial, anti fungal, and antiinflatory.

I was referring to their active ingredients. Funbact a is clotrimazole whilst skineal is ketoconazole. You can check it out.

Saw his pediatrician, she prescribed clotrimazole for his neck and hydrocortisone (steroid) for his face. The neck stuff was a fungal infection and face was something else...steroid to be used for only 10days

So we were not far off. Funbact a is clotrimazole whilst skineal is a corticosteroid. I preferred mixing with his cream so that it won't be too much.

My midwife said bottle causes colic....in newborn.
Said the baby will suck air and will result in colic.
Thats why they asked we bring spoon n cup.... if need be and not bottle.

They say so but who has time to be doing all of that. I have tried it before and my son even slept off before I had gone quarter way. Slept off from hunger because he woke up 30 mins later raging and angry. Lol.

My dear, I have seen a similar case with my two korokoro eyes. The mother tied the baby's hands, fixed the rest of her body in btw her legs, scooped food into her mouth like there was no tomorrow. Then she holds her breath by closing the baby's nose. And the baby gasps for breathe, chokes, then swallows the food forcefully, on top of cry ooo. After feeding, the baby dozes off like somebody wey carry firewood. I was afraid for my life...

Saw a post like that on front page. Since people were saying it was normal and cultural, I decided to face front and ignore. If I find any househelp or crèche whatever feeding my child like that, the person will meet their maker that day.

Interesting view. When I got pregnant, E remain make I use megaphone announce am. Same with when I found out the sex. Some people were cautioning me and I was looking at them as monitoring spirits. No wonder people recoil when I ask them that question. Thought they were being sensitive not knowing it's actually cultural.

Most lactation consultants will tell you not to use a bottle but to use cup and spoon. That it causes nipple confusion for babies.

But it's so much easier when you use a bottle. That one na oyibo style.

Sometimes, I try to be careful what I say to a pregnant woman or one that is TTC. I have been both but I don't take much stock on what people say. A little thing said in jest can be turned into a serious issue. People even say I am uncaring and unfeeling because I hardly say anything to people in such situations. Just congrats and God will do it. Except you ask for my opinion.

But I have my own trigger spots. Mention things around the CS I did or about to do and I get very touchy. Don't know why. Since I don't know others trigger spots, I try not to say anything.

I once told my friend that she should eat more vegetables and fruits and she turned it around to say that I was insulting her.

My SIL prescribed a mixture for me she z it prevents rashes etc on babies, I just did it today dunno if you're interested u can try it. It's a mixture of shear butter, tetracycline (red and yellow) and Skineal.


Yaayyyy! Don't you think the those medications would be too harsh for baby skin. Tetracycline is an antibiotic and our skin has normal bacterial flora that helps protect the skin from invasion, won't this deplete them and expose the skin to infection? Skineal is a steroid cream and should not be used for long periods making it ineligible as a regular cream. I doubt if it's even advisable to use on baby skin. Anyway I believe those in the medical field would add their thoughts, these are just mine.

My baby and my SILs baby had that same rash. Initially, people said leave it, just stop cream and soap. I did but the rash spread from his neck to his whole body. My MIL told me to use Skineal or Funbact A mixed with his regular cream for 5 days. I did so and the rash cleared one hand. Stopped after 5 days.

Asked the doctor and he said it could be excema. That he would have prescribed same thing. It's a steroid but it has it's uses and should not be used for a long time.

Tetracycline no just follow.
