Was this in Lagos or Abuja? Do they work 24hrs? If you go there early in the morning and your time for boarding is late in the night, will they still insist?

I slept and woke up day before yesterday and it was like my tummy had doubled in size. Everyone has been exclaiming at the size. Na now I know say I get belle.

Calling the customer care and booking over the phone and paying with Naira cash at GTB makes a lot of sense. I just paid today for a flight of 845 dollars plus 30 dollars service charge for booking over the phone, making it a total of 875 dollars, but I paid a total of 281,775.76 at GTB, this means that they charged only 322 naira per dollar. I think its good.

Why you no talk since last 3 months that I posted how I bought my ticket na. Could have saved hundreds of thousands with this booking. Better late than never. Chai. I am just counting my losses. Thanks for this information.

Why dont u book direct from BA website and pay naira equivalent at any GTB bank at the rate of 314naira per1 dollar as at today BA rate. And they will issue the ticket and sent to your Email.instead of using those Ticketing agents or Using your mastercard. Thats how i normally purchase my wife and kids BA tickets.

That's was before this dollar brouhaha. Don't think that option is still open.

Pls mama's, my pcv is 24. How do I go abt it. I alwys feel dizzy 2. My bp is 102/42.Buh my doctor said nothing abt it all, was only treated 4 malaria.

Thank God for helping me out of the issue. I took vegetables religiously like medicine. I buy 50naira Ugu and 50 Naira garden egg leaf daily. I blend ugu with water and drink first thing in the morning then eat unripe plantain porridge for breakfast. I took a strong iron supplement recommended by my doctor as well. For brunch, I did same to the garden egg leaf. Also took Green okro without palm oil soup and plenty ugu.

I made sure to give at least 4 hours before I take any calcium such as milk, etc because it inhibits the absorption of iron. No ice cream cravings whilst taking your iron. Take folic acid and vitamin E along with the iron as it aids absorption of iron.

Since yours is because of malaria, I am sure once it's treated, it should start rising.

I used my bank card. But know your bank rates before they shock you like they did me. I checked Diamond bank 2 days before I used my card and it was 385. Only to pay for a friend's ticket to UK and they charged me 410. Shocked was an understatement. They have cheap tickets but the bank rate will make all the difference.

The pregnant woman was ill-informed. She wouldnt have had a problem if she had acquainted herself with the airline policy on flying pregnant women. British airways does not fly after 32 weeks. She's already 33 weeks and she bought a ticket for return at 37 weeks. Obviously they cannot fly you. She obviously had an intention to deceive and it became a hopeless case the moment Sarah contacted US embassy with her details.

Or maybe she'd have been denied entry at POE anyway and this was God's way of saving her the trouble.

Nopes. BA flies to the end of 36 weeks. IE until you are 36 + 6 days for singleton.

November mamas pls am I the only one feeling this? Whenever I sit Down or lie down, if I want to stand up I feel serious pain around my waist, av been feeling it for about a week now but I think it's getting worse. Sometimes I even find it difficult to walk.

I am o. Told the gynae but they said it's normal. That's the body's way of getting ready but the pain is really gripping. I am just 33 weeks now. So scared of going into early labour.

I asked this question earlier. It's your doctor's report that they will collect. You submit it when you are checking in. Don't forget to make a photocopy just in case.

November Mamas, Happy 8 months and counting...

I am Week 32 but measuring at 35. For this my small belle?

Been having braxton hicks so really taking things slowly as i don't want pre-term labour. Sent DH on a long break because i dey fear too much. The contractions are too frequent. But Scan says cervix is closed, baby is head down and still a boy. (Don't know why i keep asking at each scan as if the sex will change). To turn in bed is the issue. Will be turning like a Dangote trailer.

On a good note, my PCV has gone up to 34%. I thank God for His mercies. The ugu water and iron drink must have helped. To sleep in the night is war but i now sleep during the daytime so it kind of makes up for it.

Oh good. I thought it was a general issue.

They started with stories when the price of land went up in the area where i bought land. They said there was an ancient shrine there that we demolished and came and built some nonsense thingy on my land. Said i should pay for the shrine with N3m or they collect their land. I went to my cousin who is a Major General in the army and he gave me 4 of his military boys. They put a "Military Zone Keep Off", destroyed their nonsense contraption and hung around for a few days. That's the last i heard of them. Lazy things.

I just heard that Emirates airline is turning back people that bought tickets in Naira and not by credit card. Don't know how true. A friend that was to travel to Brazil was stopped from checking in even though she bought her ticket since 2 weeks now.

Maybe the guy borrowed the SUV. It might not be his own.

For mamas that have not bought forex yet, do so as soon as you can. Forex is now so scarce, even banks that used to give are reducing their hand. I started building up my FX reserves from last year but was taking it too easy. I went to do WU and MG for both myself and my husband and they said they didn't have. I have gone round so many banks and it is the same story. I had to tip a guy N10k for him to help me out. He resumes by 7am just to help me get the FX and it has taken over1 week with him being successful with only 2 WU.

Don't rely on your cards because banks can decide to stop the use of cards.

Thanks my sisters for your kind concern. The doctor gave me paracetamol but that one doesn't do anything for me. It was such a wasted day. Even the place i was meant to go, i eventually didn't go. I now rise and stand with great care.

Were the rates same across the banks? When I tried to do mine, they said that it is not a calendar quarter. That a quarter starts counting from the last time you use their service. I have done less than 3 months ago. Didn't know I could try different banks.

On Saturday, I was browsing and lazing around. Didn't realise it was already 10am and I had somewhere to go. I jumped out of bed to quickly take my bath and lost my footing and fell. I didn't hit my tummy but hit my head on the toilet door. Been having headaches and back pain. Doctor says they can't do any investigation till I give birth but the ultrasound was okay.

The scary part was that I was alone upstairs and no one heard me fall or shout. Had to call my DH to leave the estate meeting. My biggest fear is to be alone with no one to help me when I need it.

Still can't sleep.

Thanks for the response. I drink lots of water. The user manual of the pump says I should pump twice a day...so am afraid if pumping more time may spoil the device. The product is even flo electric pump

I don't know about the electric pump as I used manual but even flo pump is a good brand. You should be able to use it as many times as you like. With my former pump I used to pump every 3 hours during the work day.

Hello mummies,God bless you all on this thread,am 40 weeks gone today,and a ftm,sometimes the pain comes and I think it's time but later off it goes for the past 3 days,pains that holds my legs so badly,I can't wait to meet my lo,I wake up everyday with hope which is causing me some anxiety now,thinking having a hot shower will help induce labour since walking isn't helping,less I forget,my breast milk has been flowing like every sec,I have to wear a pad often,am tired o,today is latest EED of all the scan I did

Please go to the hospital ASAP. Let them check and ensure everything is OK. 3 days of contractions especially when you are 40weeks is not usually a good sign. Let your doctor induce if necessary.

You know the rates keep changing. When I used it then, it was 350. But I heard it's now about 367. Not sure about the atm limits.
