kevwe_flex: Why not allow the VisaOfficer to defend himself. From the foregoing, it is clear that no one is buying your excuses. It also makes you untrustworthy (abi someone has compromised Justwise account?) But people, please note he (VisaOfficer) may have made a wrong judgement, that doesn't make him any less a VO and his judgements nor comments even advises altogether wrong or scam. The important thing now is that we've all gotten the fact and from the right source.

Praise God, my 2NL just landed..... Current for November Case No. above 5,500.............. God help me.... for people that are current for Number please keep checking your mail box... it will arrived before you know it....

candytos: please put ur mind at rest, carry along ur sworn affidavit to the interview and present it only if they ask you questions about the discrepancy as most times this things are not noticed. If observed and raised ur explanation, ur affidavit and other documents bearing ur correct age will swing whatever reserve they have in ur favor. Note that they know and see a lot of such and similar mistakes regularly so as not to dwell too much on it or make a big deal about it.

but when i went back to check, the 1NL was all i could see.... meaning the 2NL will land soon?

Good People, Please i am so worried about the error on my GCE certificate date of birth, which carried all 7 credits i intends to submit at the embassy, instead of 1979 they put 1984, all my Civil Documents including my international Passport, NPC birth certificate and my SSEC Waec certificate (which of cos is bad), shows 1979 as date of birth. I went to waec and they said it will take at least 1 year before they can rectify this error, i believe i don't have that time cos my case no. should be current for November, I have sworn an affidavit to back it up should in case they ask for it. I just want to hear from you people that have experience concerning this, if i am on a safe side or you have any suggestion which will help. Thanks...

ernestleon: @ kaka You heard him? Try as quick as possible.I had same problem in 2011, I was denied admission in Sweden because of that despite the fact that I added an Affidavit and a birth certificate.Later I was able to correct it in 3 days and WAEC issued an new one with the correct date.

How do u know u were selected in the first place? Because its ur CN u ll use to check if u win or not. So something is not clear here.. Pls get ur question straight so that people can help.

Cherry120: Thanks for the info...I followed the instruction but it still requires the email with which I registered for the DV and I do not have it as all efforts to get the guy who played for me and gave me the lost confirmation number has been fruitless...if there's anyone out there who can help...pls do.

Zeleez: @Rianatb not yet recieved mine but i called kcc yesterday after givin my case no birth date n name, she asked me if i hv recieved 2NL told her no but she instructed me to keep checkin my email on a regular basis frm dat yesterday so lets hv hop it wil land.

there's nothing like update to check for your 2NL, you should always use your case number to check on there site https://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ESC/%28S%28vcipu3qdkp3deb555ezxrvui%29%29/Secure/StatusCheck.aspx. When the 2NL drop you will definitely see it on your confirmation page and we all know that 2NL is base on your case number and i can see that your case number falls to 12*** that means your interview should be sometimes next year if i am right..... So please don't whala your self and always check for the visa bulletin on their site for update http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_1360.html. Hope this help.

Freshie: I really don't think there's anything to worry about. Most important is to get the baby's documents ready, birth certificate and medicals. She may contact them if it would make her feel more comfy but I don't think its necessary since her interview is close at hand.

Please fellow forumites, Does IP address got to influence chances of one been selected during the draw of this Visa lottery..i learnt from early trend that the use of banned IP address can affect one chances of been selected. How true it is? i need more light on this. Also am waiting for October draw of 2012/2014Visa lottery..! Am a winner! I believe!
