If you have an interview date scheduled, you must attend your scheduled interview.  If you are married, your spouse and any children must accompany you.  If you cannot attend the interview appointment that was scheduled for you by the Kentucky Consular Center, it may not be possible to reschedule your appointment.

If you are attending a previously rescheduled interview, you must bring the email or letter stating the new time and date of the appointment. Without this notification and the $330 (per person) you might have issues with the CO.

You must honor your appointment even if you are lacking some required documentation such as your medical exam. At your interview, a consular officer will inform you in writing if you qualify for a Diversity Visa subject to submission of a missing document. In such cases, a separate admission letter prepared by the consular officer will be given to you, and you will be permitted entry to the Consulate General on the designated day to submit the missing document(s) prior to the end of the program, if sufficient visa numbers are still available.

Please note that there are a limited number of visas available for applicants from Nigeria, and the number of visas available is less than the number of applications selected. Applicants who honor their original appointment are given first priority for these visas; applicants with complete documentation for their previously rescheduled interview will be given second preference; all others will be considered only if slots become available.

No we will not pay any other money again. The 12k and 2k was all we paid,... U ll pay 12k first before u do ur xtray and blood test.. The additional cost will depends on what the doctor tells you.

Just budget like 30k, u might not spend up to 20k.

I went to Alagbon around 12pm, due to the medical, if I went early I could have collected the police charater same day, but the police office told me to come back on Monday. For the medicals, my self and my wife paid 12k each, my son is a year and 6 months, so we paid 7k for him for the first stage. After payment we were told to do our x-ray/blood test and see the doctor.The doctor said my son will need 2 immunizations which was N25,600 and myself and my wife do one vaccination each at per vaccination 2k. That was all, we were asked to come on Thursday or Friday for the result. Its always better to go with ur child's medical records or immunization records if u have them. We paid through POS, they will not accept cash on weekends. And it is better to go early on a saturday cos the crowd will be less.

principo: Got to d embassy before 6a.m.almost started the day on a worried note as my daughter started having a runny stomach.very worried but God took control.screening started by 6:15.no handsets,powder,comb,charger,spoon,baby food,water,or any form of makeup at all is allowed.if any is found on u,look for where to keep it n join the queue all over again.screened in three places b4 entering the hall.at the 3rd stage,u might have to give up your belt.i had to take off my wristwatch n put it in my bag but still wasn't allowed to go in because there were two blades in my purse.found one but couldn't find the other n was held up.i.had to keep apologizing,at the end they let me go despite not being able to detect where it is.finally got in,n my husband went to pay for the visa fees,218 for 4ppl.then he was called to window 21 for documentation.windows 13,14&15 were opened for immigrants.window 13,the dreaded white co i have read of from 2013thread,window 14 the black angel,n 15 a white man.after about 30 mins,my husband and i noticed the white co in 13had our forms with her.not too long ,our number flashed.we went to her full of smiles,n she was full of smiles in return.very
friendly.the following dialogue ensued:co-good morning.us-good morning,how was your night?replied.co then asked 3ques n that was all.1-highest qualification,present employment,how long have you guys been married?asked me to help fill some info we left unfilled in the children's form.congratulated us n didn't even bother to ask for the pics.visa to b collected next week.sorry for the epistle.

candytos: you may not spend up to this, cos I spent 20k for my self and 20k for my wife with breakdown as 12k for the check up and 8k for two vaccines that the doctor recommended for us to collect. My 6yr old son paid 25k for check up and 3 vaccines, while my 4yr old son paid about 33k (cannot remember again) for check up and 5 vaccines.
note the check up is 12k, while the vaccines is the variable and can be as high as 50k depending on number and type of vaccines u are recommended to take.

exteababa: You can go for it now it takes 6months b4 it expires or wait till october, if you are doing it in october use q-life family clinic, they dont waste time in attending and you get your result after 5 days
