It is metaphysics that either you believe in it or not works. Solution is simple, by a bell, the typical bell that is used to sound end of periods or classes in schools and churches. Take it to a school that you know uses one and collect the bell the school or church must have been using for a WHILE.
You are to use this old bell collected to drink water from that day henceforth. Morning, noon and night. Call this garbage, trust me, it works like miracle. This is just one of the benefits of having your old parents alive. My nephew was a stammerer, now he speaks fluently. I was quick to laugh it off when my dad told me about this method that was used in his village when he was a kid by his fore-fathers. He's well over 70 now.

To keep things cool, tight and gliding, I advise you fix up any issues as soon as it comes up and you are surely good to go. Its a beau to drive (sorry, glide in) especially the EX trims with I4 engine (i. e. 2.4L engine capacity). The AC is off the Hook, The sound system -ethereal, Interior -spacious, Cabin -cozy, ride -smooth, seats -comfy, fuel consumption -economical. In all, its a good ride to own any day. Just make sure you don't buy a lemon or salvaged car. Buy one with very low mileage and clean title and you are as good as brand new. Wish you luck my dear.

Great stuff. sorted it myself this past weekend. The seal was so cheap i was given for free at the market. Had it fixed right there, Voila, no more humming.
DIY should be thought from secondary schools. Some so called "Power Steering" experts who are basically illiterates were busy trying to convince me that the pump was bad and i would have to purchase another for 25k. Going to get myself a tool box, DIY from today onwards. Many thanks!

@yahla let me first describe in detail what mine was doing then.

1. If you start the car in the morning there would be the humming sound from the bonnet that would increase in intensity if you turn the steering to any of the sides.
2. When you drive the car and it heats up, the noise reduces and only comes back when the car started again after cooling down.

Is this what yours is doing?

I got same issues with mine right now. What gasket precisely did you get so i'll know how to go about mine? Been on the web since, info i got tells me to change "Inlet Joint Bolt". Please advice.

Piyke: I have had a good experience with my EOD. The major thing with cars in naija are that many mechanics dont know what they are doing and we drivers don't like getting informed about our cars.

I still remember my mechanic who is quite good telling me that one noise from my power steering in the mornings was because it was about to give up and that a new one was around 30k. Well I looked up the symptom on the web. It was due to a small gasket costing less than $1. Bought this and changed it myself; its been 1 year now and the sound has never returned.

The other thing is the state of the car when you purchase it.

My EOD has served me well no major repairs save fuel pump change which i contributed to by driving a lot with low fuel. I changed this myself too!!! I have benefited a lot from handling the car according to my manual.
The other thing i noticed is that it reacts a lot to bad fuel, but using injector cleaner when this happens kills the check engine light

I drive a V6 Honda Accord. The whole issue of fuel consumption is grossly over exaggerated.
Like someone rightly pointed out, the smoothness and power is beautiful. Fear of V6 in Nigeria is as a result of inadequate knowledge.
Key is: Treat her right, and she'll reciprocate. If you drive a V6, you will never want to drive a V4 again.
My next car would surely be a V8. About the whole conversion thing, bros, you go school na. Why would you allow road side mechanics that are often illiterates

Perhaps it should be loaned out to them for a number of years,let's say 20,and the government should be on board to serve as

naija and the blame games.am a corper participating in the the registration exercise.first of all,we got lots of Corpers without a basic knowledge of how a computer works,but that's a topic for another day. what's pertinent however is why INEC didn't engage these Corpers before the very last minute for the exercise to ascertain who is fit for the job or not.machine has got issues too 'cos they are not durable for this kind of exercise.machines should have been tested way before this exercise commenced.long boring story in the end peeps!!!
