The People’s Democratic Party, PDP has been masturbating.
They imagine a 2019 election victory which they think will be handed over to them by APC’s momentary fumbling with the levers of power.
I say momentarily because after some initial shaky start, the APC government of Muhammadu Buhari is finding its feet and the coherence and articulateness is expected to get better by and by.
When a party that has enjoyed power for 16 unbroken years is defeated roundly and soundly in an election like PDP was, then the party needs to retreat into some shelf and undergo an exercise in self-rediscovery.
However, the PDP, with the exception of Ahmad Adamu Muazu, its locquacious National Chairman who has resigned, is still being run by the same people that ran it aground!
Enter Prince Uche Secondus, the erstwhile Deputy National Chairman who is now Acting National Chairman. Many of those who should know are of the opinion that this character should by now be out of the Wadata Plaza. The reasons are too indecent, sleazy, odious and despicable to be put in print!
Next Prof Wale Oladipo, the National Secretary, ought to by now be back in his lab at Ife where he is a Professor of Environmental and Earth Sciences.
Then of course the stunningly inept National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh. I noticed that Metuh, of late, has been trying futilely to play the ‘Lai Mohammed’ of PDP. But of course, if it is not Panadol, it cannot be Panadol!
The PDP, like Sen Rasheed Ladoja once said, needs to reconcile itself to Nigerians. They need to come clean on all the sins they committed against Nigeria and tender some sort of penance.
Just because APC took some missteps, the PDP now began to think 2019 is there for them for the asking!
Nothing can be farther from the truth!
PDP in 2019? Pigs will need to fly and hell must freeze to sub-zero!
A tall order indeed!

That was an excerpt from a report on the screening of 37 potential ministerial nominees of President Muhammadu Buhari. Only 3 passed the anti-corruptiontest!
Surely, the beautiful ones are not yet born!
But it is good that for once, somebody is putting potential nominees through the scrutiny. In the recent past, all you needed to get nominated was a famous surname, a link to a godfather or a deep pocket!
Now, things have changed. There is a new sheriff in town!

We fans will keep supporting you, because we believe in what you stand for!!! Pls show bangelee some love......

If they are found guilty, jail them all......

Even if the government of Muhammadu Buhari can provide incontrovertible and conclusive evidence that the government of Goodluck Jonathan has case to answer, many Nigerians particularly his supporters will prefer we drop the case. We would prefer he and his aides go scot-free. That's who we are in Nigeria. It's not even LOYALTY but DEIFICATION.
Thank God I know the difference. Elsewhere, his own people and even party supporters would be in the fore-front asking for justice to be served. $2.1 billion? PLEASE NO PERSECUTION BUT PROSECUTION

Do not address Barack Obama as “Your Excellency….” That means nothing to them. Bill Clinton said he was surprised he was so addressed when he came calling. He is simply to be addressed as “Mr. President”
Do not address Barack as C-I-C………that appellation is only relevant when discussing US military matters
Do not address Barack as American Head of State….that will remind the Americans of their long forgotten colonization by the imperialist Britain. He is the PRESIDENT OF USA.
The US President’s first name is BARACK, very easy to pronounce but it is NOT synonymous with MILITARY BARRACK. I don’t know what his dad was thinking to give his son such funny name.
Mr. President, someone might have told you that Barack’s middle name is HUSSEIN. That’s a Moslem name. Right? Well, that does not also make him your fellow brother in Islam. HE IS NOT!
Please master very well the pronunciation of the names of the US Vice-President.He is JOE BIDEN. Please don’t make the mistake of calling him JOE BIN-LADEN.
