WorldAmbassador: @ kolnel. I agree with you my brother. I think if the government steps in and guarantees loans for contractors and builders, they will purchase these mechanized equipment which will lead to cost savings for the clients and contractors as well. The lack of adequate collateral(and other factors) make it difficult to access some of these loans. The United States and other Western countries have a good credit system that enable the average person to buy things they cannot ordinarily afford. Oga Hajj and Oga Egun pls verify this-I stand to be corrected. to access loan now, banks will demand for ur grandparents' head. aside that, interest rate of 28+% is simply outrageous, to put it mildly, what kind of business wld b able to pull through? |

TPound: price of parts is as normal as you breathe...nothing exorbitant.... consumption for inline4 is likely the same as that of corolla. if you're not careful and wise, the shocks change could happen to you. buy from accredited toyota parts dealer thanks |
Car Talk › Re: Need Advice On Car To Purchase by yak(m): 5:16pm On May 24, 2017 |
TPound: Big daddy is also a rugged car. going for a V6 gives a form of superiority over inline 4. its efficient as well as it is durable. well, I see nothing wrong in going for a big daddy as long as you're not a night crawler... it also attracts robbers but not just to steal, but to snatch. parts wise...the only turn off it has it procuring original shock absorbers. if one is not careful, one can change both shocks (front and rear) like 5 times in a year. what about price of parts n fuel consumption for the 4 plugs? changing shock five times? am not using it to supply cement ooo |

TPound: corolla is a good and rugged car. very fuel efficient and durable parts...if you're willing to take the risk of buying brain box, central control buttons, side mirrors and full light all the time, then you're free to purchase it. the only disadvantage this car has is that its a thief magnet. you can't park it in an unsecured and padlocked garage and sleep with both eyes closed.it's impossible.that's the only turn off I have about the car. car that will give me BP thinking its safe is a No No for me. but you can Whatsapp me on 08029898808 for more advise and guidance. what about Camry 2004? can u tell me what u think abt it as relates to cost of running |

even in my church, I insist that tithing is not bad but should not become a doctrine or believe. I have tried to get the justification for tithing in the new testament and even listened to my spirit for justification. am still not convinced. the early church lived by contribution and offering as the Lord makes Providence for them. it is even more embarrassing that the Luther 95 Thesis that gave birth to the Protestant movement totally disagree with the idea of "buying favour" with tithe. meanwhile, am heading to Martin Luther thesis for further studies. hope I can get the entire document online |

InvertedHammer: I didn't say they are not important. Unscrupulous businessmen go to China and engrave the wrong sizes on a roll of cable. The goal is to maximize profit. When 1.5mm twin with earth is engraved and sold as 2.5mm with earth, then an electrician wires it to carry a load beyond its rated ampage, the copper melts and the house goes up in flames. Insulation coating has never been an issue in the industry so it is pointless addressing it. The cables are called standard cables in the market. Don't let the term "standard" fool you. It is a dressed up marketing moniker for Chinese substandard cables.
By mere holding and bending the cable back and forth, a knowledgeable electrician or trader can tell if the size engraved on the cable is accurate.
Btw, my first choice will be Cutix cables. The factory is in Nnewi. WHERE IS SON AND OTHER REGULATORY AGENCIES IN ALL THIS? Y DO WE AV A THOUSAND AND ONE AGENCIES AT OUR PORTS? |

lightrays: So, I have been an ardent reader of the nairaland forum for over six years now, but don’t have an active ID/Moniker. I am addicted to nairaland, the humour, truth and constructive criticisms have helped shaped my thinking and has given me a kind of exposure and versatility in knowledge over time, one that is Lacking in every classroom. Thumbs up to Seun and others.
over to the reason for this thread
I am a fifth year student of Environmental management and toxicology in one of our Nigerian Universities, will be graduating as the pioneers of the department in less than four months. Now here is the issue: Midway into our program (third year or so), we were told that upon graduation, we would be awarded B.EMT certificate instead of B.Sc EMT, reason been that it’s a five year programme. But recently we received information that we would be awarded the traditional B.sc instead of B.EMT because the department is under the faculty of science. Now the class is at a crossroad and we seem to have questions we can’t find answers to, we don’t know if we should accept the B.sc, or struggle for the earlier promised B.EMT, as there are speculations that the B.EMT is equivalent to a Masters degree. And to seek the opinion of the nairaland family, I have brought this here Please house, your intelligent answers to the questions below and constructive advice are needed • What are the advantages of the B.EMT over the B.Sc? • Should we continue the struggle for B.Emt or drop it and why? • There is a suggestion that we should write a letter to the VC through all observable protocols requesting that our certificates shouldn’t be prepared until our own faculty has been created, and we can use our transcripts to look for job and do other things. What do you think about this? Do you think we should wait? What are the possible outcomes of the wait? B.EMT can't b equivalent to masters. it is Bachelor of Environmental Management. the only thing is that it sounds professional than a B.Sc... I will come back to update if I get further information |
