Plz which hospital is that?An 8 year old who is vomiting with colicky abdominal pains(discomfort) and absolute constipation(no poop or fart),is pathognomonic of a distal intestinal obstruction.Barium meal and follow through only look for proximal obstruction in the oesophagus,stomach and small intestines but not the large intestines.He needs to be fully evaluated,resuscitated and plain abdominal xray (erect and supine) requested ,that will show if and where the obstruction is.Abdominal ultrasound scan can also be done if they are features of perforation.I will advise u take him to a teaching hospital for d Paediatric surgeons to evaluate him properly,for it is said that ‘The sun should not be allowed to shine on an intestinal obstruction ‘
Speedy recovery to him.
Let them also do a digital rectal examination to make sure he is not having impacted stool

for so long i have battling with stomach discomfort majorly bloating after eating or drinking water, and discomfort inbetween my ribs over my belly button. whenever i go to hospital they gave me ulcer meds which dont work, i have done ultra sound scans several times nd it always shows my organs are fine. please nairalanders anyone that had similar experience should help me. what worries me the most now, is the way im just loosing weight without any reason also the swollen lymp node in one side of my neck. pls nd pls i need suggestion on how to cure this ulcer naturally cuz im tired of taking all these drugs i have been suffering for over 5yeara this thing is hindering my growth.

Your symptoms look like disseminated tuberculosis,everything is not ulcer!That lymph node in your neck needs to be biopsied and proper diagnosis made,and as @guiltless advised,go to a teaching hospital and you will be directed to a specialist where you will be assessed clinically and proper diagnosis made.Don’t worry you will be fine.

There's pus(abscess) there already, and it has to be quickly removed.
The only way to handle pus is to drain it.
Antibiotics control the spread of the bacteria causing it, but do not remove the pus themselves.
It's quackery for anyone to continue giving you antibiotics alone, when that huge pus is still there staring everyone in the face.
Go back to the hospital, and have those pus drained.

It's evident u are a Doctor!U should remember this is Nairaland,where d best advice is not taken.@op:U said u ve gone to two different hospitals,did any doctor examined your scrotum?I'll advise u go to a teaching hospital and see a Urologist or General Surgeon and get yourself checked properly,and as @ChybuzzDD said,if it gets to Fournier's,we will remove the whole dead scrotum exposing the testicles.Please don't joke with scrotal infections.

Breaking the bottle would have ended up killing him!! The phalus was trapped inside the bottle preventing blood flow , simulating a tourniquet effect., once its more than 2hours still trapped, blood flow to the trapped segment will stop and that segment will die, releasing toxic substances, if the bottle was to be broken, these toxic substances will flow back to the system and kill him faster!! So the best option is to amputate the phalus!! Another one can be reconstructed or penile transplant will be done

It is only God that protects, I remember few years ago I was in a commercial bus sitting close to the driver , few minutes after commencing our journey, the driver a known epileptic, got an attack!! Right behind the wheel!! It was God that saved us that day, I was able to control I just held d steering and turned it to the right while d spastic driver was able to remove his foot from the accelerator and the car stopped.What was annoying was that it was the second time the driver was experiencing an attack while driving and the company did nothing when it first occured.Companies only think of profit and concern less about passengers safety
