I am unaware of any positive impact on the masses or even on governance by this arcane body. It is only how to share revenue and how to loot the next state allocation. They have no tangible guiding principle. Just a gathering of like-minds united by selfish interests. |
The scourge of internet fraud has overthrown morality in Nigeria. Those who argue in support of this menace are either involved or unaware of the short term and long term effects of the fraud. If the trend is allowed, Nigeria will be overtaken by crooks who teach people how to perpetrate internet fraud as a course in the universities. It can get that bad! |
Osinbajo is standing like a statue. Hope there is no plans to cast him before handover. I salute Rochas for his strides. It is the incoming government that will prove whether he had been dutiful or not. They will either surpass and rubbish him or under perform and make him a hero. |
I thought that going by the level of their political acrimony, SP Saraki and his APC colleagues wont be able to attend one program and sit on the same pew. But we have seen several times where the top ruling class mingle and wine and dine in spite of political differences, yet in Nairaland, NgeneUkwuenu, Sarrki and their opponent PDP sympathizers wont let us rest, standing apart like oil and water. ![]() |
O boy, e don cast o. The babe don enter one chance bus. Nigerians disgracing themselves since Adam. I just hope all these comes off in the end as false and she is exonerated. But there is a strong undertone of guilt in the wording of the entire offence. She has slim chances of acquittal because before one is pulled in watertight evidence is already on hand. It's not in Nigeria where people are arrested and detained without any tangible proof on hand. |
Too much travelling, wasting tax payers money. Estacode is also claimed as well. Tell me how this movement benefits Nigeria? We thought PMB came for rescue. There seems no difference between him and GEJ. |
ijustdey:Zimbabaaa. Na wa o. This country never disappoints. Nigeria seems like Eldorado in comparison. Cannot anything good come out of Zimbabwe sexually? |
I dunno why people invade other's space with caustic tongue. I am in support of labelling the troll a witch. How can someone's wedding irritate another? Is it a must to comment? Why not pass by? |
Nonsense, u cannot market an unsellable article like GYB. He is everything wrong, zero performance, owing civil servants for several months. What is there to cheer about GYB in Kogi state? The dramatist Senator, Dino Melaye, appears much better in comparison. |
tayolove12:This one goes above the head of an illiterate na. ![]() |
tiredoflife:You are again right. New wine in old skin. But we can be proactive and learn from others' mistakes, hit at the core of the problem - the constitution. That Governments could be toppled is one thing, then bringing in responsible change is another. Both are attainable if there is the will. Thanks for this enlightenment. |
ijustdey:Zimbabwe is always like this. Rotten men and women. Unbelievable news. The man was lucky to be alife. The trio could have snuffed life out of him and claimed another thing. Fear Zimbabwe on sexual matters, fear Kenya, fear Uganda, fear Malawi, fear Botswana. My child, that is the beginning of wisdom! |
orisunmibare01:Kpansh all of them and sweep matter under carpet ![]() |
Hmmm, such a very successful haul. This is a complete battalion. The police and other intelligence agencies should find out the sponsors of these ragtag groups. They are not alone. Let us go to the source and not the peripheries. A lot many of these rascals are political thugs armed and paid by politicians. When elections are over and their masters recourse to Abuja and forget them, they resort to self-help. A great effort by NPF. Kudos! |
Tinubu should be careful not to push his luck too far. But then what do I know? The Nigerian youths are self-destructive and crazy. It was on full display when two Septuagenarians became the favorites in an electoral contest with three quarters of them being fellow youths. It is time for paradigm shift. Let the youths come up and take their destiny in their hands. The old cargo ought to be disbanded. Neither Tinubu nor El-Rufai. |
TheTruthRaw:Lol. I want us to hold our leaders accountable and force them out when they cease to be productive. Look at Sudan, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, etc. They are human beings. They changed irresponsible systems. When leaders become aware of the power of the masses, they will become more in tune with the needs of the masses. |
tayolove12:No sir. I am an illiterate. |
tiredoflife:You are right my brother. But citizen mass action has crippled and toppled irresponsible systems worldwide. Nigerians are too docile. Mass civil disobedience will bring down this irresponsible system. Look at Sudan, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, etc. The list is endless. We just are too engrossed in thinking out how to make it fraudulently that are house is on fire. |
The guy above me is into Yahoo Yahoo or what? Nigeria is dysfunctional but internet fraud is not the answer. We should learn to hold our leaders accountable. Youths of unilag were among those that forced IBB out of govt when he lost touch with the masses. Political awareness and responsible citizenship will yield more dividend than Yahoo. |
9jaRealist:If Ned wills any property to her it is a done deal. Ask Bianca. |
Igboblog:What do you expect when political offices are for the highest bidder? Only rogues and looters get the upper hand na, if u know, you know. |
babzo:On Point. |
Gov. Akeredolu, our people do not know the meaning of regulated. Once it's legally planted anywhere, it becomes an issue. Control is weak in Nigeria. Massive leakage is a problem. We already have more issues in Nigeria to contend with than the control of legal cannabis, which will find itself in wrongful hands leading to spike in crime rates. |
Pretty smiling actress. I share this ftc with all NLanders. The mods should please try to celebrate milestones among us as much as among these so-called celebrities. Ours is a close-nit community of many talents and tongues. These celebrities were made by the press. NL is a big press. Work also from within to make one or two persons including Yankiss ![]() |
Yes, Change is constant. History has a way of repeating itself. One day Bichi emirate could be balkanized or merged back to Kano just because a SLS stooge became governor. It would have been more natural if the creation of new emirates were without political undertones. I wish you people well. But Kano emirati will surely not recover from this. |
Okon Lagos is risking his career. Rape is rape. A prostitute wont be one if people had carnal knowledge of her without her consent. In some countries, that unguarded comment would land him in deep shit. He might hate prostitution like yours truly. But that is not the way to express his dissatisfaction. He should swallow his pride and apologize. Prostitution is bad but condoning rape of prostitutes is worse. It's just like saying because stealing is bad, jungle justice is all right. |
Hmmm. Next would be handshake transmits HIV. All these new research findings tire me ![]() |
Up Nigeria! Three gbosas for NPF. They can surprise us once in a while. But what happens next after the initial announcement is not anyone's guess at all. We are kept in the dark about conviction of miscreants and diehard criminals. SARS have been seizing vehicles and other valuables from suspected yahoo boys. What became of these is also as shrouded in secrecy as how much is paid to obtain freedom and recycle the criminals into the hapless society once again. |
mmb:See functional country that has rules. See ordinary Zimbabwe. Nigeria leadership, shame on you! Haba. |
The lady is a most truthful lady. Many of those bashing RD are in fact wishing they were in her shoes. She in fact hit jackpot. If Ned Nwoko is gone, she will become instant billionaire with her inheritances and continue with the guy next door. Who is fooling who? |
I second the motion. Rapists ought to get stiff jail terms or the maximum penalty. The prevalence is alarming. Even minors aren't safe at all. Many victims choose to button up and not disclose their affliction for fear of societal stigma. |
Frankly speaking. You have to man up and step on toes to be reckoned with. If the snake does not behave like of snakes people take it for a rope. This is not about football management alone. It is universally applicable. |
