2019: The Real Reason Igbos ‘ll Massively Vote For Buhari – Orji Kalu Reveals

Former of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has assured his party members that come 2019 election, there must be a change of party in Abia state. He said that PDP has failed the people of Abia State and its time for the masses to come together and send them back home. He also revealed that President Buhari loves Ndigbo because he is doing what former presidents Obasanjo, late Yaradua and Goodluck Jonathan could not do for Ndi Igbo when they ruled the country.

Kalu stated this today during a meeting with top APC stakeholders in Abia state held at his Igbere country home, Camp Neya.

According to him…

” Come rain, come shine, there must be a change of party in Abia. Abia belongs to APC because we can’t be where our President is not. Our party is committed to free education, we are committed to paying pensioners their their money, we are committed to free health care, we are committed to all those things because they are things that make democracy to be.”

“It painful that Abia State government cannot pay workers their salary, they can’t pay secondary and primary schools teachers their salary. They cannot pay pensioners what is due to them. That’s not what modern democracy stands for. Modern democracy stands for equity, justice, fairness.”

” I was governor for 8 years, we paid civil servants their salaries, we paid local government workers their salaries, we paid pensioners and everybody what is due for them. ”

“Modern democracy no longer operates in our state and it’s very sad. That’s why APC has come to save our people. The power to make this happen depend on you people. Go and get your voters card to change this PDP government in our state.”

“When you elect people during the primaries into various positions, whether as governor or House of Representatives or Senator, you should elect people that will be able contend with these people base on popularity and capability, so that our people will not suffer again. ”

” When you elect people who are not qualified, because they gave you money, you will suffer for it for good four years. So, don’t make mistakes by electing people who will embezzle your money

“President Buhari is doing a lot of work which PDP didn’t do in their 16 years of ruling this country. The second Niger Bridge is being constructed by him, this shows that he is competent to rule this country.”

“Our South East governors promised to build the second Niger Bridge but they didn’t do it . Obasanjo promised and failed. Goodluck Jonathan promised to do it but he did not care to build the bridge for Ndigbo. I don’t know why people will say that Buhari hates the Igbos because I know Buhari very well. He is a friend to Ndigbo. Am I not friend to President Buhari? I am very close to Buhari and I know that come 2019 election, Abia State will give President Buhari 75 percent of their votes “.

Kalu also said that the hate speech on the social media needs to stop because it is making Nigeria to look like a bad nation.

” No matter how bad the country is, Nigeria remains our country and there is no other place we can run to. President Buhari doesn’t have house in America or Germany. He only has a house in Daura and we should respect him him for that, we should stop calling our leaders names on social media and painting our country bad before the world.”

CrimeRe: 4-Year-Old Boy Killed By His Father's Landlord In Ogun (Graphic Photo) by yazach: 11:38am On Jul 03, 2018
CastedDude:
A four-year old boy, Joseph Sunday Akpan, has been reportedly killed by his father's landlord, even as the victim's mother escaped death by the whiskers.

The assailant, Sunday Omosule, currently in police custody, was said to have suddenly gone beserk, chasing occupants of the building with pestle.

The sad incident, which took place at No 23, Adeoye Street, Oko Baale in the Onipanu area of Otta, Ogun State, claimed the life of the innocent boy, who had his head smashed with a pestle.

But for divine intervention, it would have been double casualties for the Akpan's as the late boy's mother also tasted from the hostility of the rampaging landlord.

According to a press statement by the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), "The mother of the deceased, who also sustained injuries, had been taken to the hospital, where she was responding to treatment

It was gathered that, following the ugly incident, a distress call was made to the police at Onipanu Divisional headquarters, and the Divisional Police Officer, (DPO), SP Sangobiyi Johnson led his operatives to the scene and apprehended the suspect.

The PPRO, said "On interrogation, the suspect claimed to be under spiritual attacks, which always influenced him to behave erratically sometimes".

Oyeyemi, who described the boy's death as unfortunate, disclosed that the corpse of the victim had been deposited at the Otta State Hospital mortuary for autopsy, adding that the state Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu, had ordered that the suspect be transferred to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) for further investigation.

The presiding Pastor of Salvation Ministries Pastor David Ibiyeomie has seriously cautioned Nigerian politicians over the killings in Nigeria by herdsmen speaking on Sunday 1st July 2018 during the first service of Salvation Ministries, Papa expressed sadness over these killings.
He unequivocally told Christian politicians who can not speak against the killing of Nigerian Christians in the middle belt to resign, because they have failed to speak for those that voted them into power. He said "Politicians thinks of the next election while, statesmen think of the next generation".
He went further to bless Nigeria and decreed peace over the land.

This is really shameful. Police officers had to be called in to settle a crisis which rocked the Celestial Church of Christ, Staten-Island Parish, in New-York City. It was gathered that the members who are mainly Nigerians (judging from their Yoruba dialect), engaged themselves in a heated quarrel between two factions as the chaos was too much that the police officers had to wade in.

Even when the police stepped into the church to restore peace, one of the female church members told an officer, "you're not supposed to come to the church with your sandal"as other church members hushed her down.

In the video footage posted online, one of the church members can be heard saying 'those people are coming back, they embezzled money and do sexual harassment in this church'.

The church members were told to vacate the church premises so it could be locked down.

PoliticsRe: Plateau: Niger Delta Militants Blow Hot, Reveal What’ll Happen In 21 Days by yazach: 3:44pm On Jul 02, 2018
Newsloft:
@NAIRATREND

A coalition of Niger Delta militants, yesterday, gave the Federal Government a 21-day notice to end killings in the country.

The group lamented the recent killing by herdsmen in Plateau State.

The militants, who met at Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State during the weekend, also tasked the Federal Government on protection of lives and property of Nigerians.

The militants warned the Federal Government that there’ll be doom if it failed to forestall anarchy and further bloodshed.

They declared a 21-day mourning period for those massacred recently in Plateau State by rampaging herdsmen, and threatened to declare herdsmen and Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association enemies.

A statement by leader of the coalition, W.O I Izonebi, read, “As agitators with conscience, we take lives of fellow Nigerians sacrosanct as no amount of provocation will lead to the slaughtering of innocent Nigerians because of cows.

“We, therefore, declare 21 days of mourning for the innocent Nigerians killed in Plateau State by foreigners trained by late Gaddafi that are now masquerading as herdsmen, according to our President, Muhammadu Buhari.

“We urge the government to do the needful before the expiration of our 21 days of mourning to avoid a total breakdown of law and order because it seems we do not have law, and government is unable to implement its primary responsibility of protecting lives and properties of its citizens.

“We demand implementation of the following to avoid doom and more loss of lives: The immediate devolution of power to states and regions to enable governors discharge their primary responsibility of protecting lives and properties and declaration and proscription of the Gaddafi mercenaries masquerading as herdsmen as a terrorist organisation.

“The government and security agencies saddled with the responsibility of protecting Nigeria and its territorial integrity should apprehend the perpetrators of this heinous crime against innocent Nigerians and humanity; total overhaul of the security organisation and security chiefs, immediate arrest of the Miyeti Allah Cattle Breeders Association leaders and its disbandment with immediate effect.

“We also condemn the inability of the government and securityagencies to protect its citizens from foreigners masquerading asherdsmen committing genocide in the Middle Belt of our dear nation, Nigeria.

“We are not going to fold our arms to see foreigners masquerading as herdsmen slaughter and kill hardworking Nigerians that are going about their legitimate businesses and livelihood anymore, when we have a democratically elected government in place.

“We are bold to ask these questions? What is the primary responsibility of government? Why is nobody being arrested and prosecuted for these killings? As agitators with conscience, we take lives of follow Nigerians sacrosanct as no amount of provocation will lead to the slaughtering of innocent Nigerians because of cows.

“We, therefore, warn that after this 21 days of mourning is over and nothing is done, we, the good people of the Niger Delta, and coalition of agitators will have no choice than to declare herdsmen and Miyeti Allah Cattle Breeders Association enemies of the Niger Delta and Nigerians in general.

“Therefore, we do not wish to see them in any of the Niger Delta states because the pollution and degradation of our farmlands and the polluted waters and rivers are enough provocation, let alone seeing our mothers and sisters in a life threatening situation and being killed by cattle breeders, while the Miyeti Allah is applauding them because they value the lives of cows more than human lives.

“Enough of this carnage going on, we should use this 21 days of mourning to reflect and ask the question, if we are truly a nation where the life of a cow is more valuable than human life.”

CrimeVictims Of Plateau Killings Were Herdsmen, Says Miyetti Allah by yazach(op): 8:26pm On Jun 29, 2018
Victims of Plateau killings were herdsmen, says Miyetti Allah

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has denied killing anybody in Plateau state.

Casualties were recorded when suspected herdsmen invaded communities in three local government areas of the state last weekend.

The police had confirmed that 100 persons died in the attack which reportedly started on Saturday and ended Sunday.

TheCable visited some of the affected villages and discovered that residents have fled the area while the deceased have been buried.

Meanwhile, Mohammadu Nura, MACBAN chairman in the state, said the group did not attack residents.

He said those killed in the attack were herdsmen, adding that the group has confirmed that 17 of its members died while 73 others are missing.

“As at now, we have been able to bury 19 persons of our own in different places. We have declared 73 persons missing. We have not seen them nor their corpses. So people are taking our corpses, going around the world and telling people that it is their corpses that the Fulani killed,” he told TheCable.

“These corpses they are saying, they are propagating [doing propaganda] against us. They are our corpses. We are calling on the government to go and exhume the corpses, let us see their faces. The corpses are our corpses, I believe that.

“I (can) tell you with authority that we have not taken part in the killings. No herdsman killed anybody. If they say they are Fulanis, let them produce those Fulanis, we want to see them.”

He said the herdsmen have been on “the receiving end” of the crisis in the state, and have been “chased away from many villages”.

“In most of the villages, Fulanis were chased out. It was when fragile peace was returning that people started coming back,” he said.

Asked if he knows those who carried out the attacks, Nura said: “The police are in a good position to tell you who carried out these killings. Because there is tension in Plateau, their eyes must be everywhere. So their personnel must be everywhere.”

Ibrahim Idris, inspector-general of police, has sent special forces to the state in a bid to fish out the attackers.

The military had paraded some suspects accused of carrying out the act.

President Muhammadu Buhari had condemned the incident and also vowed to bring the killers to book.

CrimeHow Fake News Fuels Nigeria's Herder Crisis: BBC News by yazach(op): 8:15pm On Jun 29, 2018
By Yemisi Adegoke
BBC Africa, Lagos

Fake pictures circulating on social media which users are falsely claiming depict inter-communal violence are inflaming already high tensions in Nigeria.

It comes after three days of deadly clashes between mainly Muslim cattle herders and mostly Christian farmers left more than 200 people dead in the centre of the country.

A gruesome image of a woman face down in a pool of blood with a gaping shoulder wound is purported to be from the recent attacks. It has hundreds of retweets on Twitter, but it first appeared on the internet in 2011 in a story about domestic violence in Nigeria.

Another image appears to show half a dozen people that were killed in the attacks. On closer inspection it becomes clear that the picture was not taken in Nigeria, and is actually the scene of a 2015 traffic accident in the Dominican Republic.

They are both too graphic for us to display and were accompanied by highly inflammatory comments.

And it's not just pictures.

Earlier this week, major Nigerian news outlets ran a story claiming that Danladi Circoma, a leader of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, said the attacks in Plateau were revenge for the loss of 300 cows.

"Since these cows were not found, no-one should expect peace in the areas," Mr Circoma is reported to have said.

His comments drew widespread anger and swift condemnation, but he has denied ever making the statement.

Do you believe that the "north" has an agenda or the Muslims are bad or violent? It's not true. Our problems has been our inability to identify the real enemies and handle them. If you've been to northern Nigeria or have good knowledge of the towns in the north, you will discover that no northern community is in peace except the areas where Fulanis have fully conquered. The Hausas are peace-loving and accommodating people but today they are gone. The Hausas and other tribes in the North have been displaced, killed, captured and enslaved by the Fulanis. They are called permanent slaves by the Fulanis. The Fulanis have no known state, it's Nigeria they lay strong claim on and it has been a longtime plan to conquer every corner of Nigeria. It was Saduana of sokoto who said that the place called Nigeria is the property of their grandfather, Uthman Danfodio, and they will protect it with any means available. More statements akin to this pervade history. The killings by both Fulani herdsmen, as they are called, and by boko haram are simply an extension of jihad. It's has been going on for long but more pronounced now because they are using the state machineries to push for it. Saduana of sokoto also described the hausas and other northern tribes as easy tools who can be used when they are loyal but killed when otherwise. Boko haram is a good example of the foregoing. Are you not surprised that Nigerian military bombed Rann IDP camp twice? Who was the pilot that did the bombing and who gave the instructions? How many Fulanis are in idp camps? Have you heard Fulanis are in IDP camps? Aren't you shocked that recently in Adamawa bombs dropped by Nigerian air force landed in churches, farmlands and homes where children and women were killed in large number? In Edo, the killer Fulani who was arrested was released by "some Nigerian soldiers" who killed the vigilante who made the arrest. Why didn't the army sponsor the autopsy to ascertain the source of the bullet that killed the vigilante? What made IG of police after having a meeting with buhari say that Benue killings were mere communal clashes? Do you think that killings will end in Benue? While Yorubas and Igbos regale in puerile superiority complex, the Fulanis are inching deeper into their lands, killing their people, testing their courage. While Igbos and Yorubas argue frenetically over apc and pdp their lands are being taken by the Fulanis? Muslims are not bad and not all Fulani people are in the know of what is happening. Some muslims who are violent are the easy tools the Fulanis use. Even during the civil war northern christians were used. The jihadist Fulanis don't care if you're a muslim or not. What they are after is your land, a territory they will call their own. I call on the Igbos and the Yorubas who watched Hausa, their brother, die not to allow what happened to hausa happen to them. It's only a foolish man who will allow what knocked his teeth to blind his eyes. The killers have no religion, no political party and they are united in their actions. Three people who are united can kill 3000 people who are not united. If we remain divided they way we are today, our land will be taken and we won't do anything. The north has no agenda. The Fulanis do.

Guy be careful ok!!!

If you want another civil war like ojukwu, don't drag Yoruba into it, just go and fight alone.

Mind you, you are on your own and don't think we will accommodate you this time because the last one we did make you have the effrontery to be dragging Lagos with us
