I used to like this guy then but just can't seem to shine in club football. Where is he now set? |
paulolee:All eyes on Italy, Spain and France now as it will be so bad to see a CL without Juventus. Lille must win their 2 games and hopefully Athletico still hold on to their lead. |
The COVID effect. Made Arsenal a jackass too |
sagenaija:And yet among men there are such as dispute about Allah, without knowledge, and follow every evil one obstinate in rebellion! |
Foolish in what sense please? They sha know money is stored in every corner of your house right? |
Their going isn't in their hands now actually,it's just for them to win their remaining fixtures while hoping those above them slip off. Sasuolo is another Banana peel so winning their three games isn't even assured. |
Sorosoro keep talking as those that knows how to listen are listening too. As they say once you spit your gibberish,it can't be undone. I pity those who supports this kind of character. |
This guy is just too unstable for my liking. |
Whatever you desire in life, you must give to others. If you want true friends, be a true friend. If you want blessing, plant seeds of blessing in the lives of others. Sometimes there may be bad harvests or reactions, but please do not be weary of putting out good. In due season and with God by your side, most of your good acts will come back to you tenfold in unexpected ways. Good morning and have a fruitful week. Please keep safe from corona virus, remain blessed, great day laden with good health, God’s glory and sweet moments. |
I comment my reserve for now. |
Willie Obiano is working . |
whytediamond:It's not like it's worth commenting on sef. |
Nah only on top media we dey see billions. Thousands sef no dey account. Abeg free us. |
The fact that he's been collecting electricity bills from you without remittance is enough for him to be reported. It's just that these PHCN people do not deserve any form of pity also but he should at least vomit what he has eaten from his innocent tenants. |
Al-Faatiha(The Opening) الفاتحة Chapter no. 1 The honorable Surah Al-Fatihah contains seven Ayat including the praise and thanks of Allah, glorifying Him and praising Him by mentioning His most Beautiful Names and most high Attributes. It also mentions the Hereafter, which is the Day of Resurrection, and directs Allah's servants to ask of Him, invoking Him and declaring that all power and strength comes from Him. It also calls to the sincerity of the worship of Allah alone, singling Him out in His divinity, believing in His perfection, being free from the need of any partners, having no rivals nor equals. Al-Fatihah directs the believers to invoke Allah to guide them to the straight path, which is the true religion, and to help them remain on that path in this life, and to pass over the actual Sirat (bridge over hell that everyone must pass over) on the Day of Judgment. On that Day, the believers will be directed to the gardens of comfort in the company of the Prophets, the truthful ones, the martyrs and the righteous. Al-Fatihah also encourages performing good deeds, so that the believers will be in the company of the good-doers on the Day of Resurrection. The Surah also warns against following the paths of misguidance, so that one does not end up being gathered with those who indulge in sin, on the Day of Resurrection, including those who have earned the anger and those who were led astray. |
*Men of gold don't wear gold.* Yesterday I had to visit somewhere and it was raining so I did not want to drive there since I was not too familiar with the road, so I parked my car somewhere close and used a *keke* (tricycle). While I was there I got a call from a long time friend reminding me of my promise to her husband over a job, so I quickly told her my location, and asked her to tell her husband to meet me up ASAP since I will be leaving town soon, but I told her to tell her husband to meet me up where I parked my car since that place was a popular land mark . I don’t know her husband and we have never met before. As I sent her the address, she called me back and was so excited that I was even around her area which will make it easy for him because he did not even have transport to come out, things was that bad. So I told her that he should pick a drop and I will pay. In order not to keep him stranded I had to start rushing back to where I packed my car. God, I even entered under the rain, cold, just to meet up with him so he will not be stranded. As I was walking under the rain I saw a keke and stopped it. The keke man asked me to beg the man inside so he will allow me join him since i was drenched, so I started begging. The man refused and said I was wet. I told him I will sit to one side, and he refused, saying except I pay for both his fare and mine. I agreed, then he allowed me. As I entered this man kept me uncomfortable, saying if my wet clothes touch him again I will get down. I just kept my cool until I finally got to my destination. I did not even reach when I stopped at the junction and paid then used my legs to walk to my car, since it was very close. I was inside my car warming myself, then I got a call from my friend saying her husband was around, so I described my car and he came. I saw someone knocked on my car glass, wound down and it was this same man in a keke with me. Gosh! I was suppose to pay the keke man, and recommend him for a job? Tears rolled down my eyes, I brought out N3,000, gave him, started my car and zoomed off. My friend has been calling and sending me messages... Be careful, many times men of gold don’t wear gold. Be nice! Angels do not wear ID cards. _I saw this piece and decided to share the story_. |
A toxic person never changes. They change victims and blame everything on everybody else. They can't see the wrong in their actions, but always find them in Yours. Learn to distance Yourself from people who drain the energy out of you, even if they are family‼ *#TruthTuesday#* |
*THIS STORY INSPIRED ME AND I THOUGHT YOU SHOULD LEARN FROM IT:*. A King called for a village feast and commanded that each villager in his domain came with a gourd of palm-wine and pour it in a giant pot at the entrance of the village which everyone would eventually drink from. When it was time to drink from the pot, everyone was surprised that it was water that was in the pot. Why should they be surprised? Apparently, everyone came with a gourd of water instead of palm-wine thinking that since it was one jug of water, it wouldn't be noticed. The King pointed this fact out and the whole village was ashamed. Society is the sum of US together not just leadership. *_Lessons:_* 1. We are all drinking from what we contributed as a society. 2. Never think your actions are insignificant. Take personal responsibility... Maybe, just maybe, you'd inspire some others to take their own responsibilities seriously and would have more 'palm-wine' than 'water' in our society. 3. Stop complaining about the problems and what others are doing and be part of the solution in your country, family, church/mosque, street etc... Be a good citizen, family member, church/mosque worker, community/CDA or friendly neighbour etc today! |

Asquare84:he said while escaping he saw two herds of does with nobody guiding them but those that kidnapped him do not sound like Fulanis. |
adecz:I'm not sure these kidnappers are Fulani herdsmen as they are too refined and polished to be. They speak good English and are on designer clothes not the kind of clothings we know with the Fulanis. |
Aaaaarghmed:Not safe at all. To travel now nah war. Will be like one is going to the lion's den. |
Aaaaarghmed:So gory and frightening. If I were the one,I would have been long dead. |
This actually happened to a friend who is also a Nairalander. I just can't thank God enough that we are not mourning right now as I got the call he was kidnapped from his brother around 9PM on 26th (Monday) while coming from hospital as my wife delivered via CS the previous Tuesday (20th). He was there with me all through on 20th and 21st and left early Thursday morning for a burial in his home town and from there to Warri on Sunday only to get kidnapped on Monday (First day of hustle resumption). Lots to be said but we just have to thank God as we hope and pray for a better nation. Our dear country is definitely heading towards a failed Nation as nothing seems to be working right now. I thank God for your life my brother. I pray you'd never suffer again in your life . I pray you get the dream job you craved for as a chartered accountant as that's the reason he left the Nigerian Military in the first place. Obviously, your kind of hustle isn't meant for you so bro, head home ASAP. We missed you already. |
[28/04, 12:56] What started like a peaceful day on the 26th of April 2021 ended up being a day I will never forget. I arrived Warri town the previous day to start hustling with my brother's car since I am yet to get another job since leaving the Navy. On my way coming back from Warri with three passengers left in the Sienna, my spirit became troubled for no particular reason and I just started feeling depressed. From speeding at 130-140km/hr, I dropped my speed to 60km/hr. Few kilometres to Warri, the bandits just started shooting at the vehicles (I was the lead car and I just slammed in the brake, before thinking they were policemen. I couldn't accelerate again so I engaged the vehicle in reverse but other vehicles were already at my tail. There was a lady seating at the front with me, out of panic, she couldn't even open the door while the two men at the middle seat are already out of the vehicle. By the time I got out of the vehicle and running to the bush, I was stopped by the guy with the rifle pointing directly at me. As I was being led into the bush at the other side. I met another guy with cutlass, I launched at him and pushed him to the ground but before I could make a run, I hit my leg on a stump of tree and fell. I have to surrender. I quickly removed my Navy retiree I.D card and hid it on my body just a minute before one of the bandit removed my wallet from my pocket. A quick search was conducted on us but the I.D was not discovered. We were led deeper into the bush (three ladies and two men) and that was the beginning of my 8 agonizing hours with them. When we got to a spot they felt its safe, they started beating the two of us that is male. Words cannot describe the brutality I went through. They suspected I am a Military or police guy and subjected to so much beating more than the other man who I assume is in his mid-fifties. After they have satisfied themselves they started taking us one after the other to their leader who started questioning us. That is when they started raping the ladies but didn't subject them to physical brutality. When its my turned they started searching me all over again looking for possible identification that will give me out as a military guy. But I have removed my cloth that has naval inscription and hid the I.D card in the sole of my palm sandal so they couldn't find anything on me. When asked who I will contact for payment and I replied that I don't have any money or rich relative, it infuriated them and earned me more planks on the head. I was returned to my position and made to lie facing the ground. One of them now asked why I removed my cloth, I replied that it was due to heat, he told me to put it back on, so I did but turned the clothe inside out. All these while they continued to smoke weeds, cigar and some hard chemical that I don't know why drinking a reddish fluid from bottle. All their aim was to break my joints and all the slaps and blows was aimed directly at my eyes. When they are done eating, I was made to carry their bags and we headed further into the forest. Whenever we stop for a rest, the resume the beating. Eventually I contacted my brother and they demanded for a sum of #50million. All during the trip, I was observing their formation and how they handle their rifles. It was obvious these guys has military training hence how they figured out I am/was a military chap. I wanted to make a run for the bush but I am convinces that they will gun me down before I will make it to the bush so I continued to follow sheepishly and appealing to them. Attempts were made almost five times to inflict injury on me with cutlass but each time one of them will restrain the other trying to cut me.. When we got far enough they decided to look for a place for us to pass the night and the choose a farmland with dried leaves. My singlet was torn and used to tie me and the other man. He was tied mildy and blindfolded but I was tied to a tree with my hands behind and at the upper arm so tight that it restrict blood flow to my arms. That was when I really suffered undescribable pain. I kept screaming and they were beating me with cutlass but I couldn't withstand the pain in my arms. They were checking my arms and when they were sure that the arm is already filled with blood, they cut my arm loose and I fell to ground and that was the beginning of the plot for my successful escape When my arms has regained its functions, I slightly raised my very tight blindfold and started taking mental note of their positions, some were already snoring but a particular one was watching videos on his phone so I have to wait. Once I hear the phone keypads beeping I will know that he is still awake. after sometime I raised my head a not and saw that he is also asleep and its only the phone that is awake, so I carefully removed the dry leaves and sink my toes in the sand and with the aid of the tree I pushed against it and I was able to stand without making any sound With three leaps, I made towards the dark opening in the forest which I know it will hide me and they won't be able to follow. I landed in a swamp and I keep charging through the shrubs roots of big trees and all other obstacles for three hours till I reach the main road again I have the following advice for us 1. Don't ever drive slowly on a highway 2. Don't stop to pick or help strangers on the high or lonely places. 3. Always pray to God with your heart, He will definitely answer. 4. Women should not be seating in the front of the car especially during journey. 5. In captivity, don't ever sleep because the window for escape might be very short and you have to act fast. 6. Always delete your bank alerts and keep important documents safely hidden in the car if you are travelling. In all,the grace of God prevailed as all that's just described may look like a fiction but that is exactly what happened. My only regret was not being able to save the others. The lady amongst them kept telling she hates me and will kill me the next day. I have to believe her, so I have to take my chance 50/50 instead of being shot in the head without giving a fight. I was at the Police station on the 27th and was there today again. They are not interested in saving them. Instead the DPO told us to pay for towing our vehicle away from the scene and also find something for his boys. I told them how it feels being in such situation and knowing that help is not coming except from God. Nairalanders ,just help me thank God that I'm alive to tell my story.

inoki247:We are actually here to die, what we do before dieing then decides our eternity. |
Ephemeral live. May God forgive their shortcomings. |
Who cares? Not like that will make Nigeria better. |
ridwanlawal:Wallahi |
That punishment isn't enough nah. Just castrate the eediot |
A legend indeed. |
These kind of behaviour made me hate the Ikwerres in Rivers state. Vowed never to have anything to do with them ever again with what they made us pass through while in PH. |
