You need a new pair of glasses.
The thought that president Tinubu will be a pushover is what most of you banked on but now eating your Iyan in Isu, ask the Niger coupists. The only reason president Tinubu is even visiting some places is to find money to run his govt.
joyandfaith:

It is already happening. You supporters are blind to see it.
Foreign Affairs / Re: . by ycat: 5:24am On Nov 17, 2023
I hear your emotional tears, but Airpeace has nothing to do with Nigeria, it's a private business. Airpeace no concern our president, if Saudi Arabia likes make it set the plane on fire sef, we no kuku dey use am. I beg make we hear word jare! And you people should not bring a fake response here to tickle yourselves and say "president Tinubu or someone said" president Tinubu will not address a frivolous issue as this one, he's not a board member of Airpeace.
udede:
This is what I think after analysing the concellation of the visers of travelers from Nigeria by Saudi Arabia even with our dear President still in Saudi Arabia. I really think its a slap on the Face of our dear President and country. This is just dirty politics and now they are shopping for excuses and reasons to give for their actions. These people do not have any iota of respect for us and our president.
Foreign Affairs / Re: . by ycat: 5:19am On Nov 17, 2023
Wishful thinking on your part, but that will never happen.
joyandfaith:

Tinubu would struggle to rule. Most world leaders would either disassociate from him or manipuate him diplomatically to get what they want.
Foreign Affairs / Re: . by ycat: 5:16am On Nov 17, 2023
We know that you people will never tell the truth that Saudi Arabia did Nigeria a favor by canceling all their visas rather than beahead a plane load of people whose baggages are filled with drugs.

Planes take off from Nigeria to Saudi Arabia at least once a week, it's the Airpeace that needs to come clean and tell us why it was refused landing.
Floky215:

You have a criminal and a drug pusher an offence punishable by beheading in Saudi Arabia as a president and you want them to respect you...!!

So you have the word respect in your dictionary and still support the drug lord to rig himself in...!!

What kind of dementia is that?

Politics / Re: Why Is European Union Spelling Out Yoruba From Black Race During visa Survey? by ycat: 4:17am On Nov 17, 2023
You are jealous, I think you should be used to Yoruba uniqueness by now, it's like a smoke, you can't surpress it forever.

There's time for addressing everything, there's time to discuss politics and time to talk about who we are.

It's a big deal for you to see the name 'Yoruba' you hate so much make waves on the world stage. Yoruba should be made the Nigerian national language if not for tribalism, anyways the regional language should be made official and some.already use theirs.
Xiaohei:
The foolishness, and ethnic bigotry of some NLanders is mind-boggling! While your leaders and policymakers are busy buying yachts, expensive cars for themselves and their wives; allocating billions of Naira for the renovation of buildings they rarely use, you dummies are here arguing about things are not necessary. Truly, some Nigerians are really sick in their heads! When you travel abroad, you are identified as a Nigerian, not as an Igbo, a Yoruba, Hausa …

Politics / Re: Why Is European Union Spelling Out Yoruba From Black Race During visa Survey? by ycat: 4:08am On Nov 17, 2023
Yoruba are the anchor of black race and the standards others are measured by.

Yoruba culture is what is called Nigerian's. Most of what is African general culture today was pioneered by Yoruba.

If only the modern Yoruba know who they are.
LegendHero:
Below is a survey done by the European Union (EU) home office and while gathering the Black/African race survey question, Yoruba is being spelled out.

What could be the reason for this? Could it be due to the number of Yorubas in EU countries or Yoruba people are so famous to act as the anchor for the Black race?

Politics / Re: APC Supporter Begs Peter Obi To Contribute His Ideas To Tinubu Administration by ycat: 3:49am On Nov 17, 2023
This title is a pure lie and misleading.

This is a clear challenge to the imbecilic Peter Obi to say what he would do differently if he thinks the president is not doing a good job or STFU, just as anyone of us would say to people who just criticize for the sake of it.

We all know that Peter Obi has no idea what governance is all about, he was just putting up a show for his gullible supporters. Nigeria really dodged the bullet. Such a shame that nairaland moves lies to the frontpage.

Nonny95:
This is the funniest thing I have read on the internet 😂.

You want someone you refused to give a job to contribute to the success of your fav😂. Tribalism is evil!!

Nairaland / General / Re: Nigeria: Military Reject 'highly Unpatriotic' Calls To Sabotage Democracy by ycat: 4:12am On Aug 13, 2023
Nigeria democracy is intact because Peter Obi that rigged the elections didn't win, so we actually dodged the bullet.
Tntsi:
But democracy in Nigeria is sabotaged already.
The constitution which holds democracy in our nation was thrown in the mud in a political coup to select an unconstitutional being.

Politics / Re: ECOWAS Parliament Divided Over Planned Military Action In Niger by ycat: 3:04am On Aug 13, 2023
That's a lie! Nigeria did not experience any positive let alone good experience under military rule.

Democracy is why you are able to say what up want even though they are lies. And to not feel like you are at war all the time is another. The past military rule was when Nigeria was rich, if military comes now when Nigeria is broke you will be soakings sand instead of gari.

JDJDjD:

lolz
Nigeria experienced her best years during the military?
again i ask u, what has democracy brought to west africa?

they actually have no choice that to leave them alone.
Nigeria has alot of challenges already and u and ur tinubu tot adding a war with niger will do anyone a favour grin
northern Nigeria for use una play ludo grin grin him for go fight niger na shocked shocked

Petition To Split Nigeria by ycat: 2:10am

We will be gathering signatures to divide Nigeria.

I'm waiting to roll out my forum because nairaland and its mods won't let it work out well.

There's one thing about me, I don't just talk I walk my talk. If I don't see or know a solution to a problem, I will never criticize that thing.

Let's all be forward looking and not just criticize all they long, lets bring solutions.

Nigeria needs to split or at the very least revert back to the constitution backed system and the basis of all our nations coming together that we had before 1966 coup.

Many countries created by the British have all gone their separate ways and are doing well today. Nigeria won't be an exception.

Nigeria is a prison we need to break free from.

It has affected so much especially for a country tthat depends on 40% of his economy on foreign aids.

Democracy is still better than millitocracy where people become zombies, have no rights and have guns at the back of their heads all the time. Only losers want military govt.

Niger has now been left alone by ecowas and president Tinubu and I hope the rest of you can leave everyone alone too.
JDJDjD:

has it affected anything yet?
what has democracy brought to west africa aside corruption and stealing from public officials

they should focus more on the economy and leave internal politics alone.
Politics / Re: It’s Treasonable To Deploy Nigerian Army To Niger Without Senate Approval — MBF by ycat: 1:55am On Aug 13, 2023
These ones just woke up after ecowas has come out and said they are not going to war.

I thought they are being killed in the middle belt? And rather than take up placards and block the streets to demand for autonomy to better protect themselves now that they have a lightning rod president, they too have jumped on the bandwagon to chase shadow just because they see a low hanging fruit.

Niger right now is more peaceful than Middle Belt and this is what they use their energy on.

Sore loser, just because your candidate lost does not mean president Tinubu didn't win the election. He won and there's nothing you can do about it.

The Ecowas chairman did not win the election in his own country.

Instability from coup can affect 'economic' in west Africa, so the two are not mutually exclusive.
JDJDjD:

ECOWAS stands for Economic community of west africa states.
they should focus more on the economy aspect and leave politics alone

Igbos dominate police and that's why we can't trust them to do the right thing. The same reason igbo police are the armed robbers terrorizing Yorubaland.

This is how you hold people accountable.

Let them go and present their evidence in court or pay up to the last clothes on their backs.

I hope they have houses they can sell to pay for damages. Hire good investigators to dig for hidden assets too
