alBHAGDADI: Moses is not whom Pope Francis claims to follow. So, the laws of Moses are not valid here.
If the Pope claims to follow Yahshua the Messiah, then making such statements that call for revenge are against the tenets of Christianity which clearly shows him to be a false prophet. Look at what Yahshua said concerning those that insult and attack you.
Mathew 5:38-48
38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’
39 But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40 And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well.
41 And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.
43 “You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and l sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 m For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
47 And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?
48 You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. These quotes of yours are one of the reason why Christianity just like other religion seems like fraud. Reasons are below: 1) You (Christians) claim you follow Jesus teachings but you all hates Boko Haram; yet you claim you follow Jesus teachings 2) You pray against your enemies in church and you claim you follow Jesus teachings 3) You will be glad whenever Nigerian Army announces that certain amount of Boko Haram members are killed; yet you claim Moses teaching is by gone. 4). Etc. Lets stop fooling ourselves, Any Religion is a fraud to me. #Nobodyisholy |

Op, The Pope speaks like a normal human being which is good for my type of person; Pope, Pastors, Sheik, Alfa, Prophet,Politicians, Teachers, Scholars etc. are all human so don't expect extra ordinary things form them always. Its is true that people expressing themselves is their right but you must be mindful of not hurting others with your expression which I think is not possible with people who believe in religion because one way or the other you will hurt others with your expression. Religion in the world is like competition. Thank God that am a Deist. |

plaetton: They are too hung up and emotional about your particular use of the word 'stupid' , and seem to miss or ignore the general thrust of your argument. Escapism and cognitive dissonance.
Perhaps I should assist you in putting it in a milder, chewable format. In the infamous Willie Lynch letters; The Making Of A Perfect Slave, the slavery consultant points out the importance of the negro woman, and imperative of socially engineering the negro women to be self- replicating the perfect slaves for eternity. In other words, once the negro women are sufficiently brain washed and programmed , relax and leave her to produce Slave offsprings for eternity.
This has been and would probably continue to be biggest problem in Africa for a very very long time.
Look at all these Nigerian fraudsters and charlatans like Adeboye, Oyedepo, Okotie, Oyaks , TV Clown Joshua, etc. Who are their primary targets for brainwashing and fraud? The women, the wives and future wives and mothers of generations yet come. They plant in these victims seeds of Stupidity that becomes an inexhaustible resource as long as they maintain hold on their enslaved minds. P, what you said is true, the same problem with brainwashing of people is not only here in Africa, its all over the world. |

dwilliams: Good evening my co-nairalanders and visionaries. I would like to begin by asking a question. Q1: how many times have we left work or somewhere and decided to go home without really paying attention to our mind while we drive or trek. We were in deep thoughts but perhaps our mind was in an auto pilot mode but we found ourselves home after some time. Q2:has it ever happened to anyone here.you av an occasion you want to attend perhaps you don't av an alarm on your phone.but you told yourself you want to wake up before time x, and you did! I am not here to bore you with lengthy notes but I will entertain questions after I am done here, but please let's all bear in mind that this discus has no inkling or relationship with religion but there will be certain citations from religious books to corroborate facts here. The human mind is the most power weapon ever. It is just like the sun! The sun has no conduction you can't see it,but it has the ability to set a house on fire or even break a mirror, that is the way d human mind operates. The most potent form of energy is thought because thought-waves are cosmic waves penetrating all time and space. Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become your character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny. A man is but the product of his thoughts - what he thinks, he becomes. M.Ghandi It might be a belief that we are no good in math or that we are a person nobody likes or that we can't succeed in the business world or that we can't succeed in sports or that we can't succeed in relationships and so on. The way you perceive and interpret yourself is a result of the belief system you adopted while growing up. Back in 1960 Maxwell Maltz wrote the book Psycho-Cybernetics where he talks about the self-image we form growing up: We all carry with us a mental blueprint or picture of ourselves. It has been built up from our own beliefs about ourselves. But most of these beliefs about ourselves have unconsciously been formed from our past experience, our successes and failures, our humiliations, our triumphs, and the way other people have related to us, especially in early childhood. From all these we mentally construct a "self" (or a picture of a self). Once an idea or a belief about ourselves goes into this picture it becomes "true" as far as we personally are concerned. We do not question its validity, but proceed to act upon it just as if it were true. Maltz goes on to say that all our actions, feelings, behavior - even our abilities - are always consistent with this self-image. Hence it becomes very important to change your self-image if that image is one of a limiting character of some sort. You can change your self-image with the power of thought using affirmations and subliminal messages. Our built in beliefs are powerful. Good one @ op |

NEPA surely annoys the most, Those NEPA guys are so annoying.
They are the only known band of thieves in Nigeria which has never been charged, probe or prosecuted.
It was since when they changed their name to Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN)...Na to hold light Dem sabi do.
It is High time we change their name to Power Giving Company of Nigeria then may be Dem go dey give the Light.
The Number two of them all is The Nigeria Police force, they proclaimed themselves as our Friends but we know say Na lie. Imagining police men paraded a friend of mine just because he make a stop in front of a bank waiting for a guy behind, we was asked what is offence is? They accused him of planning to rob the bank atm and They said he was charged for Felony.
MTN is the Next, they stole my credit a lots, called one of their Customer Care personnel and he told me he doesn't know where the money is. Though I don't like dumping my MTN number but I am happier with my Airtel number. |
