Congratulations, AM FALL ON U sapha: TRANSCRIPT Good morning everyone
So I did my interview today
Got to the embassy around 6:10am and I met few people at the gate. Before I continue, *if you don't have ur B.sc certificate yet, please go and get it from ur university* to avoid shout from the VO and also be very fast when arranging ur documents to avoid Paulinus wrath. So after checking our appointment letter, Paulinus told us to arrange our documents according to the way he is saying. Original one side, photocopies on two different sides. I will advice u separate ur photocopies from each so DAT u can be fast when arrangement. Some persons where sent to the back of the line cos they weren't fast. I was fast and so I was the first to go in and be interviewed. I went in and sat for a while for the signal to go in. After the signal I went to the cubicle. The VO was a fair sweet lady.
Me: Good morning VO: Good morning VO: What are you going for? Me: Bachelor VO: How old are u Me: I answered VO: And you want to do B.sc at that age, or is it second degree? Me: Yes VO: Pass me your documents Me: I did VO: And 3 passport photographs Me: Gave her 2 (4got I had extra in my envelope) but I told her its 2 dats on the check list and she collected them VO: Are you married? Me: No VO: Put your hands for biometrics Then she went through my documents and noticed my B.sc certificate is not included but instead it was my B.sc statement of result VO: Now she raised her voice "Where is your Certificate, why didn't you bring it. You don't have any excuse cos you graduated 2014" Me: My statement is what I have with me (then she kept quiet)...oh boy..I started blasting in tongues in my mind oo while she was confirming my fingers on her system All of a sudden her mood changed to lively and friendly through out the remaining part of the interview. VO: What is your language of instruction (now in good state, no more anger face) Me: English VO: What are you doing now (her mood getting more friendly) Me: Teaching VO: Private or Government school Me: Government Then I remembered I have extra passport photo, but she said no need for it again VO: Which course are you going for Me: Environmental and Resource Management (She is now fully lively and friendly) VO: What is the name of the school Me: Brandenburg University of Technology VO: Where is it located Me: Cottbus VO: Are you going straight for the B.sc program (now looking into my eyes) Me: Yes VO: Are you sure Me: Very sure ma VO: Hand me your visa fee Me: I did....N30,500 VO: Why do you want to study this course Me: Told her because of my work experience as a Safety officer at RCC, I was involved in waste management and safety of workers and.....then she cuts in VO: What do you know about Germany Me: I gave her 15 facts about Germany (she was very impressed, at least from her behavior, she showed satisfied with the things I said).....go and practice those 44 facts about Germany "google it" VO: Why do you want to study in Germany Me: Germany have a high quality education with tuition free universities both for EU citizens and non-EU citizens VO: Why not USA or any other English speaking countries Me: Their cost of education is very high even with someone having a scholarship VO: Why not continue your education in Nigeria Me: The quality of education in Nigeria is very low compared to Germany VO: Who gave you this SL Me: My brother VO: Do you have relatives in Germany Me: Yes VO: Who Me: My brother and my sister VO: What preparation have you made for your study Me: I applied for an accommodation, they said they will reply me 3weeks to my arrival VO: What are your plans after graduation Me: To come back to Nigeria and establish a recycling company( while I was talking she was smiling and laffing saying "oh Nigerians" cos she tot I was lying. Her next question confirmed my tot VO: So you want to leave your brother in Germany and come to Nigeria( she said this while smiling and laffing) Me: Yes......(Wetin I wan talk b4...make I say No?...Lolzz) VO: That's all She gave me my receipt and passport and she said I should be checking my e-mail regularly.
PRAY VERY WELL AND TALK WITH CONFIDENCE AND BE FAST WHEN ARRANGING UR DOCUMENTS IN FRONT OF PAULINUS.....MORE GRACE!! |

Congratulations.. May AM follow ASAP X36DD: A friend’s Interview Transcript TODAY:
So I got to the German Embassy by 5:30am, we were told to go and wait at the car park until 6.30am then come back.
By 6.30am we were there. I was now No.7 on the queue but Students were first attended to and I was No.3.
One nice gentle man help us sort and arrange our documents (Photocopies/originals) then we were ushered in. Security checks completed and then to the main interview section.
I was interviewed by Room 4 by one Chioma according to the Security.
Checking through my documents, you are married? Me: Yes. VO: and you want to leave your husband behind for a 2-years program? Me: We are in this together and he will come visiting. VO: We laughed. Ok, good. VO: Is you husband a Nigerian? Me: Yes but Liberian by birth.
Still checking documents: VO: ah you studied Library and Information Technology and you are going for MSc in Public Policy, how does that relate? Me: By profession. VO: Oh ok. What's your profession: I responded.
Still checking through documents VO: Why did you applied for the interview Me: May 07. VO: Confirmed ok.
VO: When did you apply for your program and when did you received your offer? Me: April 17th. Offer May 23rd. VO: laughed : oh you book before your AL. Me: No. My school have contacted me 2-weeks prior to my AL offer that they were pleased with my documents and were working on my Offer letter.
VO: Nodded Ooook.
VO: Did you apply after the admission deadline?
Me: No. Admission was still ongoing but it was after deadline for scholarship and my school told me if I had applied on time, I would have gotten it.
VO: Showed satisfaction in my responses (I don't know if she was confirming my answers).
Still checking Documents: Have u funded yet? No. I using SL and only came with the Block confirmation account opening as it was demanded for proof of finances.
VO: Ok. But you just have to submit it fast because once process, it will be hard for you to change. How soon do you think it will be ready and why wasn't it ready before now? Me: My uncle was away for sometime on official duty and I couldn't reach him. I could only reached him end of last week and he is already on it and the public holiday yesterday delayed the process so hopefully before middle of next week, it will be ready. Here is his details, he requested that I can put you on call with him if need be.
VO: ok you just have to send it very fast.
VO: Your visa application fee, sign this, your four fingers and thump. Me: All Done
VO: Oya pick up the phone. Why Germany?
VO: Why not US or UK (Me for my mind, thank God she o mention Canada because I have already been denied twice on purpose of visit- Lol)
VO: Why Public Policy?
The next question was the question I dreaded most but thank God I stayed up with a friend last night on this.
VO: Facts about Germany (me in my mind, Tina ntor) I started. I mentioned 5 oh e no do this woman. She said continue I mentioned 8 finally reluctantly paused and said ok.
VO: Do you have anyone in Germany? Me: Yes, my Uncle. My Sponsor. VO: Maternal or Paternal? Me: Maternal.
VO: what's your plans after your studies?
Me....bla bla blah blah
VO: Ok that will be all. Remember to send in the SL immediately. Me: Ok.
Thank you. |

Tanks for dis tip brov Adeniyii2017: Okay.. don’t worry, you don’t need language school, it’s a waste of time and energy. Get an etisalat sim to subscribe night plan, N200 for one gigabyte, you might need up to 2 gig. Download the YouTube app and register. Search “Learn German with Jenny”, it’s very intensive. Download the whole folder of A1, A2, B1, B2 don’t download individual clips/videos, it might get you confused and might not move with the scope. Get a full higher education, you’ll might probably need two and start studying with the video in offline mode. When you get to mid A2, you’ll understand why I asked you the question regarding your “google translate”. Please donate $1 (<500) to her patron account when you don blow either for Naija or Deutschland. Remember, no time. Gods speed. Enjoy. |
