hotcakept2: In case this question has not been answered. You will need transcripts for all post secondary/tertiary institutions which you have attended to support your application for admission into any masters program. There's no generic list of universities to apply to. It all depends on your goals, circumstance and situation. If you're looking for top schools for your proposed program, tailor your search to reflect this and if you're looking for schools that will offer you scholarships/funding please tailor your search to reflect this. It all depends on you. Your circumstance is a major factor in this. 1 Like |

Asapant: Your chances of admission is quite slim but there's possibility. Your professional achievements and experience could improve your chances. The trick is to apply to many schools to further enhance your chances of admission. Be ready to part with a lot of money for Application fees. Also, be prepared to pay heavy tuition as most schools that will offer you admission with this GPA will most likely be expensive. |

hotcakept2: If you're looking to pursue a course based masters program, could be possible. However, you'd have to apply to many institutions just to improve your chances of admission. 1 Like 2 Shares |

JustinTrudeau: I no longer sympathize with you because I am beginning to strongly believe what others have said about your result being exceptionally good. I have a strong conviction that the outcome of this investigation or whatever it is will very well be a good news for you. Like Wura said, DO NOT WORRY. Like you said, you worked hard for this and nobody will rob you of the fruit of your hard work. Your Canada dream will certainly crystallize. This is just a minor delay. Trust me God is working in your favor. Please reply their mail in the exact format they've requested (HAND WRITTEN AND SIGNED BY YOU). Ensure to convincingly address anything/issue that you feel could have raised or aroused their curiosity and hope for the best. I completely understand if you're overwhelmed with anxiety, however; try as much as possible to maintain your calm and be clinical in addressing the situation. You're already a winner. Someone suggested you visit their office for further information and/or clarity; you could explore that option too, but please before going, ensure you have written you response as requested as your written reaction may be requested at their office. DO YOUR FINDINGS VERY WELL BEFORE PROCEEDING TO THEIR OFFICE AS THEY MAY NOT BE INCLINED TO ATTEND TO YOUR CASE IN THEIR OFFICE SINCE THEY HAVE PROVIDED YOU WITH INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REACT TO THEIR QUERY. MY QUESTION TO EVERYONE THAT HAS PASSED THROUGH THIS PARTICULAR SITUATION BEFORE; HOW SHOULD HE APPROACH IT? SHOULD HE REACT TO THEIR EMAIL OR IGNORE IT WHILE HOPING FOR FAVORABLE OUTCOME? 4 Likes |

JustinTrudeau: Your situation is a bit curious. It's not something that happens so often if not unprecedented. They didn't even point out what could have gone wrong in your result. Could it be the slight change in your personal details? Could it be exam malpractices (which is not what I am saying)? Could it be that the change you made was not properly effected which invariably raised a dust or confusion as to the credibility of your personal data/information provided? I suspect that the reason why people are not so eager to proffer advice or recommendations is because your situation is not so common. The correspondence to you isn't clear enough as to the specific issue but my calculated guess will most likely be issue of misrepresentation or exam malpractices. I think the answer lies with you. You have to search your mind thoroughly to understand or have a clue as to what you're dealing with. My advice/recommendation is to write them back requesting for specifics so that you can have a better platform to address or tackle the issue head on. You could very well mention the issue of amendment form and see if it savages your situation. I sympathize with you. This is not something that should happen to anyone. The anxiety that the expectation of result comes with is hectic enough. Best wishes BABA. 2 Likes |

Hello everyone, Please can someone who has some funds (7,560 Cad) in Canada (refund from institution due to student visa refusal) open a dorm account in Nigeria wherein the money will be transferred. Will this meet the soa requirements of IRCC for POF ? Putting into consideration the fact that the dorm account will be a new account and may not necessarily have the usual 6 months cash transactions and also the money will stand out in the soa as a lump sum being the only transaction in the account. Secondly, I have a property which is worth over N2m which I intend to dispose of and use the proceeds to buy treasury bills of 6 months duration and then include the treasury bill as part of my proof of settlement funds. Profile: Crs score: 456 though I'm still waiting for ECA so I haven't exactly entered the pool. However, I am drawing out my plans in anticipation of ITA which I am fairly certain will come when I enter the pool. Also I am a single applicant and I know the required funds for single applicant is 12,300 Cad. Kindly proffer your recommendations as per my circumstance. |

40manlappy: Yes boss ....I didn't mean to slight her or prejudge her o. I just stated my opinion the way I understand. Maybe my tone was a bit harsh but then I was only trying to be candid. It is good that she's thought about those documents. My question is what does she stand to gain from including documents pertaining to a car that has been stolen. If she can identify the purpose, then gurus may very well assist or proffer solutions or advice to her. |

Cannybabe: I don't understand, what do you intend to achieve with the affidavit and police report of stolen vehicle. As it is you no longer have the vehicle and as such, I doubt if the your document on the stolen vehicle will make any difference. In my opinion, I think including the documents on the stolen vehicle is superfluous and redundant. What do you even stand to gain if the documents on the vehicle are included in your application? Regarding the marriage documents, I'm fairly certain you could obtain a certified copy from the marriage registry where you obtained your marriage certificate in the first place. You'd need an affidavit of loss of marriage certificate though to obtain a certifiedcopy of your marriage certificate. I'm guessing you haven't made any attempt to retrieve the certified copy from the marriage registry. Pls make an attempt and if you must use an affidavit of marriage simpliciter, ensure it is deposed before a notary public. |
