I did mine 19th last week Monday and it was updated/passed 24th a day before Christmas. Some people said 2-7 days is the duration it takes. Yours would be updated this week.

Almost a week without PPR after medical pass.. should I be worried ? This whole Canada stuff is tiring argh.. na una send me medical request o… my CBSA note just came out and the last ending saying Approved pending medical results. Integrated Search
reviewed and all other assessments completed. So what’s delaying them again ?

Just be positive it will come. I equally got a medical request and it was passed on the 24th. Our Ppr will come, equally expectant.

Landing gist

i got my ppr on the 23rd of sept. i'm so glad I booked my flight (8 dec) that same day because i got the best deal on Ethiopian airline.

Flight time from Abuja airport to Addis Ababa was 1:30 pm. Due to delay we left at 20 mins to 2 pm or there about.

I took some food items. I wish i took more because i didn't pass through bag checking and weighing wahala. An insider intervene for me (someone i know).

I only paid for wrapping of my luggage

Not a bad experience for first timer on an aero plane

Food served were good through out the journey

No enrollment since my enrollment start on the 12th

At the Abuja Air port i only submitted passport, covid 19 card and flight ticket

My cream(500ml) was confiscated at Addis ababa. i was told that they don't allow any liquid substance above 100ml on the flight. so don't put those things in carry on bag.

Nothing much in Dublin since we didn't alight the plane. Just stopped for some maintenance and refuel though it took longer than usual due to shortage of man power because of the weather.

Eventually, i was live in canada on friday 9 dec at 9:20am local time. Massive airport, naija na joke among the three airports. I sharply connected to the wifi reached out to my elder brother and a dear friend who has been engine oil to these processes. Joined the long queue it was fast though because there are lot of self declaration machines. Scanned my passport and answered the questions that followed. Afterward i was directed to the study permit unit. Load of us were there for that, so they one requested for letter of introduction (that letter received after passport is stamped). Not so much time taken study permit and work permit for courses with coop were issued. I quickly saw an officer who signed on my passport with some details fro the two piece of documents after receiving mine.

omo we don set ooo, i waka go search for my loads. then head straight to meet my brother. we hug each other he don tey wey i don see this lovely guy.

Around dat area he quickly help me got my fido sim. as we reach outside the weather of canada give me a serious handshake.

I jam my friend outside hug the baba. We jumped into car. They where prepared before i landed. They carry me go do my SIN menh this saved me from some expenditure. Transport na wahala here as my bro no dey this province.

It has been a smooth journey. Thanks to Jehovah God

To the person who deleted my testimony on my PPR earlier on this account(timagbo) I won't lie to my self. EVERYTHING ABOUT MY APPLICATION WAS PURSUED THROUGH BY JEHOVAH GOD. FIRST APPLICANT AND NO AGENT BUT WAS CLOSELY GUIDED BY A VERY SMART PERSON

I did call qlife and the say they already uploaded the result and that was in November, till now IRCC hasn't updated and now it's going to be a rush thing for me because so many thoughts, what to do and all that. If everything could just pull through before they go in break because I haven't even booked a flight or sorted some things because of this delay

So it’s from IRCC that’s sad, send mails until it’s done.

It may not be Qlife’s fault, even if they’ve sent it, IRCC most times will not update it immediately

I doubt that, for medical request it’s fast have 3 or more people who got medical request one was updated in 2 days, others 3/4 days interval. If upfront then I can agree, for those who got medical request it’s way faster. Even on the site you see they have back log of medicals to process which amounts to the large number of people who did upfront medicals.

This is really not nice, it’s over a month already. You should go back to this Qlife and complain to them. Make them know how their negligence is going to cost your admission/visa and I thought it’s IOM that wasn’t organized. No much difference between them and Qlife obviously.

It’s not compulsory, you only need an enrollment letter if you have registered for your courses. Several people have travelled without one. Let the important documents be present.

Such a sad story, I follow this guy’s empowerment programs and how he has helped a lot of kids in several ways. Poverty really dealt with a lot of us, i’m glad he is in a better place now. His growing up and swallowing a lot of pain is not something I would wish for anyone.

I really pray and hope for a successful surgery for him. A lot of our politicians and very wealthy people in Nigeria haven’t impacted anyone the way this young man has. He has put endless smiles on the face of many. May God continually bless and replenish his purse. I too cannot wait to contribute my quota to the society and especially the downtrodden ones.

This application was just God. My first post on thread 21 is attached to show you how nervous and scared I was.
I made up my mind and started the journey in May 2022, got admission 3 weeks into the month and came to Nairaland for visa application advice. I went through several threads before arriving at thread 21 and I was immediately discouraged with the documents I saw people packaging. People had landed properties, business/personal/sponsors accounts with tens/hundreds of millions as turnover and balance, gift deeds here and there, affidavits of different kinds, scholarships etc, so I spent the entire June gathering the documents I could.
I had over 30 supporting documents so shrinking it to 2mb was no child's play. I eventually did and uploaded without checking it. I checked afterwards and realized that [/b]half of documents were blurry and unreadable[b], I almost died lol. I just left everything. I'm not a spiricoco person but I don't doubt the God factor so I prayed the little I could every morning till PPR dropped.
My take away:
Your documents and packaging are important but at the end it's God so don't get carried away with self confidence and don't be discouraged as well, put in your best and leave the rest to God.
I had up to 15 SOP drafts till I couldn't draft any more and used the last one to apply so don't underestimate the power of your SOP and do a good job with it.

How do I submit my passport, please help.

I remember your first post glad it has ended in praise big congrats to you!!! God will grant I and others expecting faster than we anticipate.

Exactly, we are in same shoes, eligibility may begin back end and we won’t be aware. Let’s just stay positive. It will end in praise.
